Prince
Prince passed away yesterday.
I’m still unable to understand that fully. As a huge fan after seeing Purple Rain when it came out, I have every album he made and 50+ “unreleased albums,” and have followed each his career phases and transformations with a combination of fascination, confusion, frustration, bemusement, bewilderment, joy, surprise, enrapturement, and awe.

Fun at the Internet Archive
The blogging has been a little slow as the day job has been very busy. I have managed to make some progress in working out the plot for RSG Book 2 (no title yet). I’d forgotten how difficult it is to interweave seven story arenas and 20+ characters. I don’t know how I would do it without the episode structure.

Writing The Dragon Star – Part 2
The more I worked on creating the world and thought about the overarching story of a new god appearing to people in their dreams and urging them to a pilgrimage toward the Forbidden Realm, the more stories and characters started to pop up. Seven story arenas is a lot for a novel, especially when I knew that all of them would feature more than one POV character.
