Jessa is above all else a writer who loves to read - and has been since age three and "Where the Wild Things Are."

A novice to fictionwriting, she one day chose to combine her lit obsession with the racier parts of her imagination, and well...the rest is e-history.

A proud indie writer her contemporary and erotic romance short stories have sold hundreds of copies both in the US and overseas and can be found online at Barnes & Noble, Amazon Kindle, Library Direct, AllRomanceebooks, Page Foundry, Baker-Taylor, Apple and Sony's e-stores, Kobo and Diesel.

Her newest release is "Dara's Decision", a sequel to the hot teaser short, "The Very Thought of Him." She is currently at work on a sci-fi romantica novel, and the third installment of her

Breaking the Silence

A warm and contrite greeting to friends, fans, fellow and fellow book lovers who follow my GR blog. It's been some time since...well, since everything, frankly! Since my last blog entry, since my last release, since I was able to put words to paper and have them lay down as I see them in my ever-percolating brain...
For that, I felt the need to break my silence and apologize to my readers not o...

“We’re sick of hearing people say, “That band is so gay,” or “Those guys are fags.” Gay is not a synonym for shitty. If you wanna say something’s shitty, say it’s shitty. Stop being such homophobic assholes.”

Albert Camus
The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing
“Ideally, what should be said to every child, repeatedly, throughout his or her school life is something like this: 'You are in the process of being indoctrinated. We have not yet evolved a system of education that is not a system of indoctrination. We are sorry, but it is the best we can do. What you are being taught here is an amalgam of current prejudice and the choices of this particular culture. The slightest look at history will show how impermanent these must be. You are being taught by people who have been able to accommodate themselves to a regime of thought laid down by their predecessors. It is a self-perpetuating system. Those of you who are more robust and individual than others will be encouraged to leave and find ways of educating yourself — educating your own judgements. Those that stay must remember, always, and all the time, that they are being moulded and patterned to fit into the narrow and particular needs of this particular society.”
Doris Lessing

“The life we've fashioned in this time is a singular one. One minute you're a child and you have no control over your life, the next you're an adult with responsibilities and no control over your life, and then you're an elder with wisdom, a wealth of experience...and no control over yourself or your life.”
Jessa Callaver

“People aren't truly evolving, they're just mastering new and cyber-sanctioned ways to get what they want.”

“Music makes promises to the heart that no
mere song could ever fulfill.”
