NJ, is just an ordinary person that has a million stories in her head that she needs to get out and share with the world. I began writing at the age of Twelve with a book Called Admetus Gaea-Untamed World... which I have only recently just found and am almost finished writing it.

I love reading anything, and I have worked my way through a few over the years. My own writing features it all from the paranormal/preternatural, fey, demons & human.... I start with just a picture or a title and sit back as the M/M stories unfold.

I do not plot, preferring to write in Utter Chaos. I was raised in Gladstone, Queensland and now live in a small country town with my family.

message 13: by Lavinia

Lavinia Lewis Wow it's exciting! Best of luck hon. Let us know how you get on with it. :)

message 12: by N.J.

N.J. Nielsen Yes I have thought about them, but after Carol read my book (& yes I was nervous as shit about that) she suggested somewhere else so I am gonna try there first as I would like print as well as ebook... I have just under 5000 words to add now and then I am finished. then my Beta/editor will fix my puntuation, because I really really suck at that... I am trying to work in 1000 words a night as I really only get to work on it at night. so I should have it all added in by next monday (Australian time)

message 11: by Lavinia

Lavinia Lewis I was too, it's natural I think when you've put so much work into something. I'm still nervous now about submitting more! lol! Have you thought about submitting to TEB? I only sent to them because I read one of Carol's dedications in which she praised them and I have to agree they've been absolutely brilliant.

message 10: by N.J.

N.J. Nielsen No as I let someone read it and they suggested that I break it down because it was too long and then I broke each book up into three and now I had to add a little to each book but by the end of june I should have sent it away... I am so fricken nervous I can tell you.

Lavinia Lewis Norma wrote: "No need to Ask it is an 18 Part series... I have written over half the books... I just need to do a little tweaking... though I have to think of a new name for the first book as someone recently ca..."

Sounds great Norma, definately something I would read. Have you submitted any of the series yet?

message 8: by N.J.

N.J. Nielsen No need to Ask it is an 18 Part series... I have written over half the books... I just need to do a little tweaking... though I have to think of a new name for the first book as someone recently came out with a book with the same title... it is full of the following: Vampires/Faeries/Wolves/Humans/Demons... at the moment that is all and they are set in Australia...

Lavinia Lewis Norma wrote: "I love to read... I have read way more than what is on my lists... I am trying to up date as I go along...I am on the last stages of my own first novel before I send it off Fingers crossed that it ..."

Oh wow, good luck! I'm sure it will be brilliant though. What genre is it? Or need I ask? lol!

Yeah same for me too with the adding of books here. I'd never heard of Goodreads until a couple of months ago and it takes time to add a lifetime of books. Having even added everything that's on my kindle yet and I've only had that six months lol. :)

message 6: by N.J.

N.J. Nielsen I love to read... I have read way more than what is on my lists... I am trying to up date as I go along...I am on the last stages of my own first novel before I send it off Fingers crossed that it will get picked up...

Lavinia Lewis Norma wrote: "I know I will... and have my eyes peeled for the next ones in the series... I love finding new Authors (well new to me) your covers are gorgeous..."

Stop, you're making me blush lol! And yep, completely new. Luke's Surprise was the first book I ever completed and first published.(I love the covers too! But then TEB are briliant.) Good to meet you anyway, looking at your list, seems as though we have similar taste in books. :)
