It doesn't matter if what I write is complete garbage, since I can always go back and fix it, but the most important thing is just to write SOMETHING. Writer's block is best overcome by forcing yourself to just start, and not worrying about how inelegant, irrelevant or illegible the writing is. Once you get started, 90% of the time the creative juices will start flowing - often in delightfully unexpected ways.(less)

I get to take stuff that's in my brain, put it down on paper, and then people actually pay to see what that stuff is!

Loved this book! It combined modern police procedural with a touch of "what-if?" sci-fi to explore a topic which I expect is going to get more and more relevant in the coming years. And it was just really entertaining.

A delightfully funny, rather naughty little book that surprises with its twists and turns. But beneath the quirky humor there is a real commentary on the absurdities of modern life and a subtle depth that leaves the reader eminently satisfied.
