Hello, my name's Catherine Cavendish and I write horror fiction - frequently with ghostly, supernatural, Gothic and haunted house themes.

My latest novel - IN DARKNESS, SHADOWS BREATHE - is published by Flame Tree Press. Carol and Nessa are strangers with one thing in common, they are in the hands of an entity that knows no boundaries and crosses dimensions - bending and twisting time itself - where danger waits in every shadow

My latest novella - THE MALAN WITCH - is now out from Silver Shamrock Publishing. An idyllic cottage on the Atlantic coast hides dark and deadly secrets. Once, two evil witches lived there. Now one has returned...

Purely my personal opinion of course but I could live without serial celebrity, so-called, autobiographies and porn posing as erotica but whether I would go so far as to remove them forever? No. Just because they're not for me doesn't mean I should deprive anyone else from reading them. Thanks for asking :)(less)

The Ghosts That Will Not Leave

Hospital. The mere sound of the word can send shivers running up and down the spine. From our first mewling whimpers to our last breath, a visit or stay in a hospital can represent the most traumatic experiences of our lives. From the greatest of joys to the darkest of despairs, every hospital has seen it all repeated innumerable times.Small wonder then that unquiet spirits make themselves
