Strange and Beautiful blog tour: An interview with author JoAnne Kenrick & #Giveaway!

Hot Summer Nights Giveaway Hop post here

I am so happy to welcome fellow Decadent Publishing author, JoAnne Kenrick to my blog today.

So, JoAnne, what genres do you write in, and what appeals to you about those genres?

JK: I’m a total genre hopper and write what I fancy when I fancy…. So far that has paid off. I usually switch between contemporary and paranormal romance. But when Estella and Lucy became badgering me to write their story, I did have my concerns. The books alone can’t be classed as romance, but read them altogether and you get the bigger picture; a dead romantic tale. But in each ebook, you only get a small slice of their world…and a naughty tale as told by Estella or Lucy. A story within a story if you like. And definitely more spicy than anything I’ve ever written before.

Do you have any recent or upcoming releases?

JK: Funny you should ask that question. Tales of the Coffin series is now in full swing. Book One came out in May. Book two JUST came out (my first ménage story). Book three releases in August sometime, and book four will be a holiday special (Bonfire Night). The always snarky Estella and Lucy are having a ball in my wicked imagination, and I have the full series mapped out. Lots more twisted tales coming your way.

BLURB, Strange and Beautiful

Estella, Vampire Queen of the Rejected, is sick of men. Or so she would have you think. Ditched at the altar by Dracula himself, she’d rather spend her days with what she now believes to be the more faithful gender. Plagued by a Haversham complex, she gets her kicks by luring prey into her decrepit house with promises of erotic tales…but mind your manners, and fingers, because she bites.

Lucy Rotterdayne—a zombie better known as Lucy Rot—is Estella’s sometimes-faithful subject and lover. Although why she hangs around to be ridiculed and taunted by a bitter vampire, she has no idea. Perhaps the answer is rooted the story of how she was zombified by a doctor who is simply masterful with his hands?

What are you working on now?

JK: Snapping away from the paranormal for a touch of the Irish. After the huge success of the stand-alone 1NS book SWEET IRISH KISS, I was pestered by my editor (hi, Kate) and readers, to deliver Devlin’s story. And so Irish Kisses was born, a 1NS sub-series. Book two, Shamrocked, releases in a short few weeks. And this brings me to what I am working on now; book three which has a tentative title of Threesome Sweetness. I can’t give too much away, but I will say this; a sexy Texan business tycoon is in town and doesn’t just want to do paper work while in London.

Are you a plotter or a pantser?

JK: I’m neither. I’m a fast-drafter! I discovered this technique via the awesome Candace Havens. I’ve tried plotted. It doesn’t work for me. Layering is my best friend, and don’t have a set amount of rounds of edits I do before calling it a day. It’s finished when it’s finished.

Who is your favorite character from any of your books?

JK: Estella!!! From Tales from the Coffin. I love her. And I hate her. She kinda scares me actually. This is the opening scene from the very first Coffin book, Strange and Beautiful.

© JoAnne Kenrick

“Fancy bursting into my boudoir and expecting me to entertain on demand.

The cheek of it. You people have no manners.” Estella puffed her raspberry-red hair into something that resembled an up-do and readjusted her breasts, shoving her plump flesh back into her once-upon-a-time-white corset. “I know. The word is out. I give great story. I do understand. You’re excited, who wouldn’t be? I am rather marvelous, if I do say so myself.

“In my day, though, the men held doors open for ladies, and the ladies tilted their necks to offer supper. Oh, no need to wrap that sweater farther up your jugular, dear, I’ve already eaten, so I’m not hungry…at the moment.” Estella stretched her arms out, licked her canines, and hoisted her moth-hole-ridden skirt to expose her alabaster thighs decorated with stockings laddered at the knees and splattered with fresh blood. “I can’t vouch for Lucy, though. She’s always hungry, aren’t you my little Deady Bear.”

Lucy groaned, burped, and stretched her neck out—to the right. Crack. To the left. Crunch—and dragged toward her mistress.

“Quit being disgusting and help me out of this coffin, would you?”

“Yes, boss.” Lucy, her mostly-faithful servant, shuffled across the neglected basement in their decaying house in the outskirts of York—the supernatural center of England—to her mistress while cursing her gammy leg and zombie disabilities. Minutes later, she parked her behind on the edge of Estella’s coffin and snaked her hand up her leg, smearing the blood as she went. “Finger-licking good,” she crooned before trailing her tongue over the torn material decorating Estella’s skin. She paused and held her hand up. “Shame I’m missing two of them. Wonder where I lost them? You’d think I’d feel them snapping off, wouldn’t you? Have you seen them?”

Tsking, Estella kicked her off and turned her nose up. Not because she needed to dominate Lucy—she had already put her in her place—but because she knew where those fingers were. And she didn’t want the poor dear to read the truth in her eyes. “I ordered you to help me out of my coffin, not suck my joint. My goodness, your hunger for flesh is insatiable. What was I thinking taking in a zombie? Blonde and curvy you may be, but you’re always trying to gobble me up.”

Where do your best ideas come from?

JK: Music, and the land of dreams. Yes, I wake up screaming quite often. Estella has wormed her way into my sub-conscious like no other character has ever done. She is one scary lady.

Where can my readers find your books?

For my post, I’m going to talk about THE POWER OF THREE,

my paranormal erotica short story which releases July 20, 2012

from Decadent Publishing as part of The Edge erotica line.

Here are the actors and the actress I imagine in the roles of my characters:

[image error] [image error] [image error]

Jude Law as Oscar

James Franco as Bo

Kat Dennings as Delayna

THE POWER OF THREE Blurb:

Cursed to live amongst several stone gargoyle statues, Oscar watches a young couple, yearning to participate in their sexual activities. For he has been away from his own lovers for over a year, and longs to touch and be touched again.

When he tumbles off the headboard onto the couple, he is released from the statue but must find a way home. His only thought: a ménage with the man and woman who freed him. But will they try something new to grant him his return passage, or leave him wandering Earth alone?

ADULT excerpt:

“Listen, Del. I understand your obsession with the paranormal, but does this thing really need to be in the bedroom?”

Oscar’s heart raced, the man’s fingers achingly close to his stone cock. He needed out of the statue. Now.

“I don’t complain about the model airplanes all over the house, including this spaceship looking one that’s suspended above our bed, do I?” Stepping back, she settled her hands on her hips.

The view? Perfection.

“That Stealth Bomber is worth more than your silly statues and doesn’t cause concussions.”

She rolled her eyes and lunged, making her tits bounce. “Really, because I could’ve sworn you hit your head on it the other day when we were making the bed. Now, give him here, please.”

“You don’t care that this thing hurt me, do you?”

“Maybe he’s jealous that you were getting some and he wasn’t.”

Ain’t that the truth.

Bo glared at her. “So not funny.”

Did she know he was really in there? Could she feel him watching her, wanting her?

Bo lowered him to her palm, but didn’t let go. “You and your creatures.”

She leaned forward and kissed the bump on his head, her breast rubbing across Oscar. “But you love me anyway.”

And then a loud crack filled the air. Light surrounded him and he was falling.

As if being sucked out of the stone, Oscar sprang from his prison and landed on the floor on hands and knees. Taking a deep, refreshing breath, he stood and stretched his arms high into the air in all his naked glory. Being confined to such a small space had left him stiff, and not in a good way.

Delayna gasped, glancing from him to the broken bits of stone on the carpet.

“What the hell?” Bo grabbed the bed sheet and draped it over his wife, knocking the gargoyle remnants in her hand onto the carpet. “Who the fuck are you, and how did you get here?”

He stumbled back. “I’m Oscar and I think, somehow, you both set me free.” The evil sorceress, Catalis, hadn’t bothered to explain how the curse worked, tossing him into this world and the stone figure before he’d had the chance to ask.

Delayna giggled as she eyed him from head to toe, her gaze sending electric sparks along his spine.

He winked at her. Now that he could move, he longed even more to touch every graceful curve.

Bo grabbed a phone. “I’m calling the cops.”

Shadow of Deceit blog tour: Interview with Mal Olson & Giveaway!!

It is a pleasure to welcome Mal Olson, author of Shadow of Deceit, to the blog today.

Mal: Hi Jessica. It’s absolutely delightful to be here today.  Thank you so much for inviting me. I’m all set for your questions.  And, readers, be sure to join in with any questions or comments you may have. One lucky commenter will win a $20.00 Amazon gift certificate at the end of my Sizzling Hot Blog Tour.

What genres do you write in, and what appeals to you about those genres?

Mal: Since I love to read romantic suspense, writing adrenaline-kicked romantic suspense is  where it’s at for me. There’s nothing better than a blossoming romance set on the brink of danger.  I guess I’m drawn to thrills and excitement, along with a poignant love story.

What titles do you have published?

Mal:  Shadow of Deceit is my debut novel. ~ An FBI agent risks his career when he collaborates with a haunting young widow desperate to prove herself and her husband innocent of diamond trafficking with the terrorist who killed the agent’s Delta Force team three year ago.  Also, I have two free short stories available on my website, as well as at Amazon and at most ebook retailers.  Me and Brad ~ Edge of the heart romance with a canine twist, and (you guessed it) a romantic edge-of-the-seat suspense  story ~ Are  two strangers destined to become kindred souls when they survive a rock n’ roll landing on an icy Milwaukee runway and chase a could-be terrorist into the Danger Zone?.

Do you have any upcoming releases?

Mal: Coming soon, another RS novel, Too Sexy For His Stetson ~ A rookie deputy and her training officer try to stay focused on business—the white supremacist gang that’s threatening their Idaho mountain community—while fighting the forbidden attraction that sparks between them.

What author(s) have influenced your writing style?

Mal: I love Suzanne Brockmann, Linda Howard, and Tara Janzen (to name a few). I hope they’ve influenced my writing. :)

Who is your favorite character from any of your books?

Mal: It’s really hard to pick one favorite. Since I’m really focused on my debut right now,  I have to go with Shannon Riedel from Shadow of Deceit.  She’s loyal, never gives up, and she’s strong enough to overcome her past tragedies with the help of a really hot, caring, and driven man. Here’s an excerpt where Shannon is reacting to said hot man, Tony Crazaniak:

Minutes later, he reappeared, weaponless–so to speak–the streetlight’s glow illuminating his face, gold beams glistening in his hungry eyes.  “It’s all clear.”

His powerful hand clasped hers, and he led her inside.  When she tried to reach for the light, his fingers tightened.  In the darkness, he trailed his thumb across her cheek.

The practical side of her brain hammered a warning.

“Tony, maybe we almost made a mistake.”  She’d be crazy to take such a big step, to become intimate with him, simply because her estrogen was running rampant.  She had to think this through.  Tony was an FBI Agent.  He was investigating her dead husband.  Maybe he was investigating her.

“Maybe this is a little too fast.”

“I can do slow.”  His index finger stroked her upper lip, languorously, delicately, as soft as a butterfly’s wing.

She swallowed.

Earlier, when they’d almost made love, they hadn’t been here, at the house she had shared with Tyler and Casey.

“I don’t think I can do this.  Here.  Maybe you should go back to the hotel.”

His hand stilled.  “I understand.  But do you think I’m leaving you here alone?”

On a sensual level, she’d be safer alone.

Alone.  She had managed just fine alone since she’d been discharged from the hospital after Tyler and Casey…Tears stung her eyelids.

“Sometime you’re going to have to let go, Shannon…of the past and grab on to the here and now…I just want to make you feel good for a little while.”  He twirled a strand of her hair around his middle finger and exhaled, his warm breath so close to her ear it turned her shivers to waves of need.

Her heart pounded.  She licked her lips, but she forced herself to push away from him.  She wasn’t thinking straight.

“Tony, I’m sorry.  Not tonight.  I can’t…”  Probably never.  She looked down and concentrated on her boots.  If she risked looking at him, she might crumble.

He cupped her chin and tipped her face toward his.  Kissed her right eyelid.  Her left eyelid.

Maybe never.

Trailing the tip of his tongue over her lower lip, he somehow ended up with his arms around her.

Practically thinking, she knew if she locked him out of her house, he would spend the night in the cold keeping watch from the rental car.  And dear God, if she allowed him inside…it was still going to be a long cold night.  For both of them.

She wiggled out of his arms and slipped away, hurrying down the hallway without looking back.  She dare not let him see how much she wanted him.

“You’ve got the couch, Crazaniak.”

What writing/writer’s organizations are you involved with? Can you explain how they help your writing and/or your writing career?

Mal: RWA, WisRWA and Mad City Romance are three organizations I am a member of, and the wonderful people in those groups have provided encouragement and excellent workshops over the years, all of which have been helpful beyond words.

Do you belong to a critique group or have critique partners? If so, what have you learned from them? How has it affected your writing?

Mal:  I have a critique partner, my oldest daughter who’s a fantastic writer. Without her, I’d be lost. Everything I write is edited by her before it goes anywhere.

Where can my readers find you?

Mal: www.malolson.com

Where can my readers find your books?

Mal: In paperback or ebook at TheWildRosePress.com and Amazon.com.

ebooks are also available at most other ebook sellers.

Shadow of Deceit:

Can an FBI agent obsessed with redemption and a grieving widow desperate to clear her husband’s name learn to believe in love again?

Shannon Riedel faces down danger when a gunman breaks into her office claiming her dead husband swindled him. When FBI agent Tony Crazaniak arrives to investigate, sexual heat sizzles. The ex-Delta Force operative’s massive presence and dark eyes trigger an attraction the young widow finds unnerving.

When Crazaniak convinces Shannon she needs his protection, they partner to unearth secrets her husband left behind—secrets involving a Tanzanian mine that yields perfect blue diamonds coveted by dealers around the world—secrets connected to a terrorist leader Crazanaik has vowed to take down.

With danger surrounding them, two emotionally wounded souls bond, but can they put their demons to rest and trust in love? Can they survive long enough to find out?

Shadow of Deceit excerpt:

The gun Shannon came across at the bottom of a neatly folded stack of masculine attire on her bed shouldn’t have surprised her. She’d seen the agent’s Glock earlier.

Intrigued, she reached for the pistol, an object that seemed so out of place in her bedroom. As though she were familiar with handling firearms when she wasn’t, she wrapped her hand around the grip then jerked her head toward the bathroom door, conjuring up thriller fantasies.

But she didn’t have to conjure anything when she noticed a letter poking out of Crazaniak’s inside jacket pocket. Nor did she have to imagine the fact that the closet door stood slightly ajar. Her stomach clenched, a mix of anger and unease. Had the FBI agent been nosing through Tyler’s belongings?

Tit for tat—the urge to sneak a peak overwhelmed her. Her heartbeat ratcheted up as she shifted the gun to her left hand and reached for the letter.

At that instant, she sensed a presence behind her. Even as the sound of water pounded the walls of the tub enclosure, Shannon knew in her heart of hearts that six foot-plus of dripping wet, naked man stood not relaxing under the water jets, but hovering five heart-palpitating feet away.

“Want to toss me my clothes?” he asked.

Unwilling to face him, she remained quick-frozen like a pillar of ice.

“Tell me you weren’t snooping in my things,” he rumbled.

“Tell me you weren’t snooping in my closet.”

“ I wasn’t snooping.”

She eyed the edge of the letter. “I thought I’d treat your duds to some suds. You want to hang out in my robe for a few?”

“Not enough material there to cover my manly attributes. I’ll settle for day-old Jockeys, and what the hell were you doing with my pistol?”

“Nothing.” She almost turned around.

Her chest thumped. The thought of Crazaniak au natural not only spiked her pulse, it titillated her imagination. She waited for a chord of guilt to strum across her heart. It didn’t happen. Instead, discord fluttered low in her abdomen, and she sensed him moving closer.

Six Sentence Sunday – Another six from my #paranormal #erotica The Power of Three #sixsunday

Thank you for coming to read my Six Sentence Sunday post!

Today I’m sharing another six from The Power of Three,

a paranormal erotica short story which releases this Friday from Decadent Publishing:

He didn’t have to worry about going hard; the body he occupied was already made of stone.

The gargoyle statues around Delayna’s house and yard provided several bodies for him to occupy. He moved in spirit from figure to figure, watching her every day, hoping to eventually feel her touch, and Bo’s, too. He watched from the headboard tonight, waiting for the day he’d finally be set free.

She didn’t waste any time with foreplay. No, she’d already fingered herself to orgasm before involving her husband.

And be sure to visit http://www.sixsunday.com/ to find out who’s participating in Six Sentence Sunday this week or follow the #sixsunday hashtag on twitter.

The Pound Sign and the Telephone – Guest Post from Clare Dargin

What Does This Symbol # Have in Common with

Military Jackets, the Telephone and Weight?

On Facebook and Twitter, you tag your friends with the @ symbol and topics with the #. If you see something that says #WordoftheDay, the tweet or post will concern the Word of the Day in some way. But what do you call the # symbol? Where did it come from? Its myriad names and its appearance are intertwined. The # symbol is commonly called the pound sign, number sign and more recently the hashtag. It is called the pound sign because the symbol comes from the abbreviation for weight, lb, or “libra pondo” literally “pound by weight” in Latin. When writing lb, it was not uncommon for scribes to cross the letters across the top with a line across the top, like a t. See the example below.

The phrase “number sign” arose in Britain because “pound sign” could easily be confused with the British currency. The # symbol is sometimes spoken as the word “number” as in the word “number two pencil.”

But what is its official name? The octothorpe. What does that mean? It’s actually a made-up word. It was invented in the same laboratories where the telephone came from. The scientists at Bell Laboratories modified the telephone keypad in the early 1960s and added the # symbol to send instructions to the telephone operating system. Since the # symbol didn’t have a name, the technicians made one up. They knew it should be called “octo-” something because it has eight ends around the edge. But how to make “octo” into a noun? What happened next is not entirely clear. According to one report, Bell Lab employee Don MacPherson named it after the Olympian Jim Thorpe. Another former employee claims it was a nonsense word that is a joke. Another, also unverifiable report, is much more etymologically satisfying. The Old Norse word “thorpe” meant “farm or field”, so “octothorpe” literally means “eight fields.”

The word “hash” predates these other terms but was not very popular until recently. (Maybe because it reminds us of mediocre diner food.) It first referred to stripes on military jackets as early as 1910. In the 1980s, it came to refer to the # symbol. Since the ascent of social media, hashtag has become the favored word for the # symbol.

Cherish Blog Tour: An interview with author Ann Mayburn & Giveaway!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome Ann Mayburn back to my blog today to discuss her latest release, Cherish, and more.

Ann, can you tell us about your new release?

AM: ‘Cherish’ is a short and sweet story about Sam and Cody from my 1 Night Stand story, ‘Want’. In it we get to see the men on their honeymoon at the cabin they built together in the mountains outside of Las Vegas. There is a good deal of love, and steam, in this story and I really hope it gives my readers a happy sigh. :)

Describe the heroes in three words.

AM: Mature, confident, and secure

What traits does Sam posses that makes Cody swoon?

Sam is confident, attractive, and Cody’s perfect mate. The two men have an intense chemistry combined with a mutual respect for each other. Before they were lovers they were friends and for Cody, Sam is his perfect man.

What was your inspiration for this story?

AM: I had a good deal of fan mail for Cody and Sam so when the opportunity came to write a short story for Decadent Publishing’s ‘The Edge’ series I jumped at the chance to give a brief glimpse into the HEA.

How long have you been writing with the hopes of publication?

AM: Ummmm, I’ve been published for just over a year and I started writing about four months before my first book sold. :)

Wow, that was quick. How did you get started?

AM: I decided to start writing in June of ’10 after the pre-mature birth of my third son. He was born at 31 weeks, nine weeks early, and it was a very rough delivery. I lost a great deal of blood and had some touch and go moments. While I was recovering from my c-section, without my baby, I had a lot of time to think. In my morphine pumped induced state, I considered all the things that I’d done and what I still wanted to do.

I’d had A LOT of fun in my life, and marrying my husband and having my children was a joy that I can never fully explain. One thing I’d wanted to do was write a book. I’ve always been a heavy reader, my husband used to moan at my monthly bills from the bookstore, and I have an over-active imagination. The trouble was focusing my ADD ‘Oh look a squirrel, oh look a penny’ self to sit down and write.

Basically, I stopped making excuses about why I couldn’t do it, and sat down and DID it. I found that once I started, I couldn’t stop. My muse went into overdrive and I have more ideas than I have hours in the day. I’ve been so fortunate to find myself surrounded by supportive publishers and fantastically helpful authors. The romance community has to be one of the most loving, gracious communities out there.

What genres do you enjoy reading?

AM: Anything and everything as long as it has romance.

Where can my readers find you?

AM: Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/ann.mayburn.5

Twitter- https://twitter.com/AnnMayburn

Website- https://www.annmayburn.com

Where can my readers find your books?

AM: You can find a complete list of my books at https://www.annmayburn.com/books.html

Cherish:

What started out as a one night stand has turned into the best decision of Sam’s life after he marries the formerly straight man of his dreams, Cody. When his new husband tells Sam he has a special surprise for him on their honeymoon Sam can’t help but wonder what he has in store for him. Secluded from the rest of the world in the cabin they built together in the mountains surrounding Las Vegas, the two men begin their life together with plenty of passion and love.

Adult Excerpt:

Sam glanced out the windshield, as familiar with the winding road to their cabin as his own backyard. Heck, he should be. They’d made over four dozen trips up and down the mountain as they built their log cabin on the edge of the National Park. Their ultimate mountain retreat was almost complete, and he couldn’t think of any place he’d rather spend his honeymoon than surrounded by the solitude of the wilderness and Cody.

The big truck easily navigated the final stretch of road before they reached their destination. Anticipation hummed through Sam and his cock twitched to life. Cody wore a white T-shirt that stretched over his thick muscles, and a pair of silky jogging shorts. Perfect for what he had in mind.

He leaned over and kissed the side of his neck. “Move your seat back a couple inches.”

“What?”

Sam grinned and unbuckled his seatbelt. “Look, I don’t want the steering wheel embedded in my skull. Move your seat back.”

He did as he asked then gripped the steering wheel with both hands until his knuckles turned white. “Just let me pull over.”

“Nope.” He hummed deep in his throat at the erection tenting the other man’s shorts. “Keep driving. You stop driving, I stop sucking.”

“Sam, this is a really bad—”

He stretched to lower his head and capture the thick rim of Cody’s cloth-covered prick between his lips, effectively cutting off his partner’s words. It had been two weeks since they’d had any kind of sexual contact and the need for release tightened his balls. He tugged at the waistband. “Look, you’re the one who wanted to take a break before our wedding so our honeymoon would be special. Well, it’s our honeymoon and this is special.”

In a gruff, strained voice, Cody said, “I’m going to hit a pot hole and you’re going to bite my dick off.”

Sam chuckled. “Lift your ass off the seat.” With some maneuvering, he managed to get the shorts down enough so that Cody’s hard sex sprang free. Saliva filled Sam’s mouth at the sight of the hard male flesh. He grasped the base of the thick penis, noting with delight that Cody had shaved his balls. “Well, well, what do we have here?” The shaft jumped in his fist and he ever so slowly licked from the base to the tip, pausing to suck at the little slit.

Cody’s thigh muscles tensed and he spread his legs as much as his shorts bunched around his thighs allowed. Sam’s own cock pulsed behind the tough fabric of his jeans, but he ignored his needs. Taking control of his partner’s pleasure always turned him on. They drove down the road in plain sight of anyone passing by and there was something deliciously forbidden about blowing him in broad daylight. True, the only things around here with a heartbeat were animals, but he still liked that edge of the forbidden.

Author Bio:

Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of   West Virginia. In her past lives she’s been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist,   a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan    Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.

From a young age she’s been fascinated by myths and fairytales, and the romance that often was the center of the story. As Ann grew older and her hormones kicked in, she discovered trashy romance novels. Great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she  sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and  plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she’s never looked back.

Now Ann  spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get  into her ‘sexy space’ and has learned to type one handed while soothing a  cranky baby.

Six Sentence Sunday – Six from my upcoming release, The Power of Three #sixsunday #erotica

Last Day to Enter the 1NS Blog Hop!

Thank you for coming to read my Six Sentence Sunday post!

Today I’m sharing the first six from The Power of Three,

a paranormal erotica short story scheduled to release July 20:

Oscar groaned as Delayna rubbed her husband’s ass, her signature move in seducing him. Even though Bo feigned sleep, the man’s twitching foot gave him away. Next, she would reach around to grasp his cock, and Oscar held his breath in anticipation of the move.

As her hand rode up Bo’s shaft, Oscar closed his eyes, imagining her fingers tightening ever so gently on him. Just enough to amplify his need. She dragged her thumb up the vein on the underside of his dick.

And be sure to visit http://www.sixsunday.com/ to find out who’s participating in Six Sentence Sunday this week or follow the #sixsunday hashtag on twitter.

And since some of my other stories have received more attention lately,

I thought I’d share an excerpt from Unknown Futures.

**This story also continues Frey and Carrie’s story from Celestial Seduction.

Jewel tagged along behind the rest. V’s hug had taken her completely by surprise. Smiles, now touching? She thought she’d been prepared to go on a one-night stand, to have sex with a strange woman, but maybe she wasn’t. Sure, her traveling companions hadn’t made her feel like a freak, but Carrie had married, and was now pregnant with, a blue alien. Imagine what Jewel’s neighbors would say if they saw Frey on the street.

Leaving the concourse, they traveled down a long hallway. V stopped and placed her hand on a pad beside a metal door, which slid open. “Frey and Carrie, this is your suite. There is a buffet every evening in the dining hall, down the corridor and to your right. If you need anything at all, press the front desk button on the communication panel.” She gestured to the screen inside the door. “Enjoy your stay at the SS Hotel, where everyone in the universe is welcome.”

Wait! Everyone in the universe? This place is filled with aliens. Jewel’s head spun. Is that why Madame Evangeline sent me here? Because no one on Earth would want to date me? She cringed. The elephant and the blue women had been somewhat attractive, but she hadn’t noticed a difference between the male and female bug people or the blue blobs. Her vision blurred with the onset of tears. I’ve made a horrible mistake.

Something touched her shoulder and she jumped.

“I’m sorry I scared you.” V startled her again by reaching to wipe moisture from her cheek. “I wanted to make sure you were okay. I know this place can be overwhelming when you first arrive.”

That’s for sure. She couldn’t imagine living there. “So, will you show me to my room?” She yearned to hole up like she did back on Earth, lose herself in a story until she went on her date with the alien. Except for V and Carrie, she’d seen no other humans on the space station, and she wasn’t supposed to meet her date until tomorrow night. Sure, the idea had excited her in her books, but none of the humanoids and other beings she’d

seen were fashionista beauties.

She’d gone through a week of emergency procedure training at a top-secret facility even she wasn’t allowed to know the location of, with the couple who traveled with her. All of that packing and training for one night with a space creature whom she’d never see again? During that week, they’d met with the director of the space station, an odd character as well; why hadn’t she objected then?

V put her arm across her shoulders. “You’re staying with me.”
