The Blonde Identity was not written for me | ARC Review

I was really excited to check out Ally Carter’s first adult book as someone who read a bit of her YA stuff, but I have to admit that the writing style was just not for me. Will it be for you? Let’s find out together.

Where do I go from here? | Sammy Espinoza’s Last Review ARC Review

You know when you read one of those books that is just SO good you don’t even know what to do with yourself anymore? That’s this book. Ironically, it felt like it was written for me NOT to like it. And yet! Here we are.

Much world, little romance | The Curse of Saints ARC Review

This fantasy romance is different from my usual contemporary phase, but I was excited to try something different. The writing was pretty clunky, while the characters were interesting. Will it even out enough I’ll read the next book? We’ll see!

Something’s a little off | Forget Me Not ARC Review

Let me be clear, I did enjoy Julie Soto’s debut novel. But it’s also got some technical issues that weren’t clear to me until I got to the end. I don’t think they’re that bad, but we’re going to talk about it!

Lots of Law for some reason | APRC Supplemental #22

I do not normally read about the law and criminal justice, so naturally here are 5 law and criminal justice related nonfiction books I recently read. It wasn’t intentional, but it was FASCINATING.

I’m not crying I swear | You, with a View ARC Review

Okay, I am crying, but they are happy tears. My personal, emotional connection to this book just blew me out of the water. I thought it was a second chance road trip book, but it is actually more like enemies to lovers with a history. Regardless, the grief storyline just DID me IN and I loved every minute of it.

How did *I* like this? | Will They or Won’t They ARC Review

I love a good second chance romance, but I can’t stand it when they’re terrible to each other in the beginning. Luckily for me, I chose to stick this opening out and boy was I rewarded with a slow burn I couldn’t stop reading!
