Book to movie - the process, my story

This could be titled, the life of an independent movie producer. Started out as a writer and then as it is so hard to get into a studio, this was the route I took. Hope it is informative to any who are thinking about a movie dream....it is possible...

It has been an exciting, interesting and educational time for the evolution of Columbus Avenue Boys – The Movie since 2012.

Columbus Avenue Boys, Prologue and first 2 chapters (Literature & Fiction)

Description: Columbus Avenue Boys is the prequel to Cameron Nation. The release date is scheduled for mid-April. While Cameron Nation was my "Conservative Manifesto" - Columbus Avenue Boys is a walk through time. It chronicles the life and times of the Scalamarri family after they emigrated to America from Italy in the 1890s. The second part of the story includes present day (1990s) Scalamarri family members as they take down organized crime in the 1990s.

Majenta Hi, David! Review to come, I was feeling too critical when I was reading it. I did like the preview of the next book--a white Ford Bronco in 1994?! (Note that this message is coming to you on June 17....) Anyway, right before that I thought it was amusing how you misspelled "ninety-four," as if the "e" was lost in the impact of--I think the guy was grabbed? Neat trick! Overall I would and will give it a positive review but there were a few places I thought you were getting sloppy and I wished I'd been around to proofread for you. Oh, one thing I noticed, because I noticed this from somebody else once--how you seem to think Italian mothers are constantly encouraging/urging their families to read another Japanese comic book or whatever "manga" is. What you really want those Italian mothers to say is "Mangia! mangia! mangia!" with an I. Io sono italiana-americana and I Know.

Have a good summer weekend, and happy writing! And when you get hungry, MANGIA!

Best wishes from Majenta
