Kim writes Paranormal Thrillers and Poetry.
Deadlines & dead bodies...depends on how much coffee/sleep she has had.
Kim was meant to study pathology and criminal psychology but ended up studying journalism. Now she uses all three to research the supernatural/paranormal, crime, murder and the psychology of evil in her Paranormal Thrillers.

Kim is a South African writer who now lives in New Zealand.
She lives on the beautiful Northern East Coast of New Zealand's North Island and is lucky enough to call the Pacific Ocean her backyard. She can often be found wandering the cliff tops above the crashing ocean and walking through the lush farmlands that surround the area. But with a heart caught between two lands, the sunburned, ancient Africa and

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
Kim and 32 other people liked Julie Christine's review of Rising Strong:
Rising Strong by Brené Brown
"There are books that meet you at just the right time, when you most need and are open to their messages. I can well imagine encountering the warm Texan embrace of Brené Brown's brand of social psychology at other times of my life and being turned..." Read more of this review »

"Axe and Elise

There is magic involved every time I open a J.R. Ward’s book and then I suddenly land in Caldwell.

When I am there,

I usually hide in the dark alleys sniffing the air for baby powder smell and listening carefully for gunshots and body..." Read more of this review »

Prepare to be disturbed...

This story, this main character, this writer will chill you to the bone. This is a book I’ve actually reread twice now. I don’t often do this with books. But if a thriller leaves me with too many questions or disturbs me, I

Sylvia Plath
“I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked. One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor, and another fig was Ee Gee, the amazing editor, and another fig was Europe and Africa and South America, and another fig was Constantin and Socrates and Attila and a pack of other lovers with queer names and offbeat professions, and another fig was an Olympic lady crew champion, and beyond and above these figs were many more figs I couldn't quite make out. I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet.”
