The Tears of Dark Water is one of John Grisham's best reads of 2015!

I'm thrilled to announced that John Grisham recently selected my novel, "The Tears of Dark Water," as one of his three best reads of 2015! Amazon posted his list on its Omnivoracious blog today.

Corban Addison added a status update: My new book and first work of nonfiction, Wastelands, will be published on June 7. It’s the true story of a flagship American corporation that has made billions of dollars exploiting rural communities across the United States, and of one community made up of mostly low-income, Black people in the South who stood up to that corporation, filed a lawsuit, and won against all odds.

Lauren I read A Walk Across the Sun before it came out and I fell in love. The topic of Human Trafficking has always held a special place in my heart. I've read numerous non-fiction books on the topics and I found your novel to mirror a lot of the facts I've read in those books. You told this story in such a beautiful heartbreaking way, I'm pushing this novel on my youtube channel and on all my friends. Gorgeous work.
