Corban Addison holds degrees in law and engineering from the University of Virginia and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He began to experiment with writing at the age of fifteen, about the same time he developed an interest in international travel. His early works were mostly essays, reflections and travelogues, but his true love was fiction. For eight years he searched for a story with wings. In the end, the story found him.

In the summer of 2008, Addison’s wife gave him an idea that he found irresistible—a novel on the global trade in human beings. Despite the increasing demands of career and family, he embarked upon an odyssey that took him to India and Europe and into the corridors of power in Washington, D.C. I

I'm thrilled to announced that John Grisham recently selected my novel, "The Tears of Dark Water," as one of his three best reads of 2015! Amazon posted his list on its Omnivoracious blog today.

Corban Addison added a status update: In case you missed it, my new book, A Harvest of Thorns, just came out. It's about a beloved American corporation with a secret, a disgraced journalist searching for redemption, and a corporate executive with nothing left to lose. Like all my books, it's about something bigger than the story--the underside of the fashion industry, the true cost of the things we love to buy and wear. Let me know what you think!

Lauren I read A Walk Across the Sun before it came out and I fell in love. The topic of Human Trafficking has always held a special place in my heart. I've read numerous non-fiction books on the topics and I found your novel to mirror a lot of the facts I've read in those books. You told this story in such a beautiful heartbreaking way, I'm pushing this novel on my youtube channel and on all my friends. Gorgeous work.
