New Shows I Watched
Holy moly I watched a crapload of tv the past two weeks, but here are some of the new shows I watched. Too lazy to post individual reviews. Introducing: Meh, Liked, Really Liked and Loved. LOL.
The Secret Circle (Thursdays 9 pm, CW): Really Liked- Loved. I think episode two will push me over the hump.
The Playboy Club (Mondays 10pm, NBC): Liked.
Revenge (Wednesdays 10pm, ABC): Loved. But for some reason I don't see it lasting.
The X-Factor (Too soon to know regular days and times, Fox): Really Liked.
Ringer (Tuesdays 9m, CW): Loved.

The Secret Circle, Addison Moore and Tiffany King.
So I'm in love with The Secret Circle already. I'll try to write something about it on the weekend if you haven't watched to clue you in, but wowzers. I read the book way back in the day...middle school. I'm like a hundred. Anyway, it's a good tv series. If you like The Vampire Diaries and the mean girl element of Pretty Little Liars, you'll love it.
So I'm heavy on reading romances these days because I'm not very good at writing it. I'm hoping that I'll pick up some pointers and get some great stories while I'm at it!
So I just finished Addison Moore's Wicked. I discovered Ethereal by chance and I was hooked instantly. Anyway, Wicked is the fourth book and still new so I won't say a lot, but my review is on Good Reads. I love Addison Moore because she isn't afraid to take risks and go off the beaten path. I love her. She rocks my world.
I'm currently reading Tiffany King's Forgotten Souls, the sequel to Meant to Be. I read Meant to Be too and reviewed it. Tiffany King is seriously the sweetest human being ever. She loves herself some love. Meant to Be is chock full of it and it's a fun read, but isn't bloody enough for me. LOL. I know, I'm nuts.
Anyway, two awesome writer ladies that should be checked out, i think.
P.S. I started writing Gone when I totally should be writing Lost. Blah! Madness.

Reviews! A thank you.
I will never be able to stress this enough: Thank you for taking the time to rate and/or review. Good or bad, it means so much to me when someone takes the time to express his/her feelings about something I write. It's very, very, very cool that you choose to read, first and foremost, but for me to produce some kind of reaction (even if it's utter hatred and disgust for me as a writer and what not LOL) in you that you want to share with the world, that makes it even better.
I don't expect you to love everything, I don't even expect you to like everything, but at least I get to see who will stick around for the ride and who will probably never, ever look my way again. It's for the better always.
Believe me, discovering who your target audience is, is the best thing that can happen to a writer.
So again, thank you so much for taking the time to click stars and write a paragraph or two. It means the absolute most to me, and it makes me want to work harder, even for the people who give 4 or 5 stars.
So here's to our (hopefully) enduring relationship.

I just posted 2012 book covers and synopses
I've heard people like this stuff so I just created a page of book covers, synopses and release months for 2012. Figured I'd share it as a post, too. P.S. I am just about done with Tiffany King's "Meant to Be" and will be posting a review. I'll be discussing it soon in an upcoming post along with The CW's awesome new shows. Did you happen to catch The Secret Circle? Besides the fact that I love Britt Robertson, it's pure awesomeness.

February
Description coming soon!! I know what it's about, but it's a bit of a spoiler, so I probably won't post until January.
June
The memories are painful, so Charity has buried them deep. But she can't completely forget how her entire family drowned while they were all on vacation. Or how since then, every other family she ended up with met a similar fate. All drowning deaths. And each time, the only clue left was a strange symbol resembling the birthmark in her palm.
On her own now, she has lived like a recluse for years, but after meeting and befriending teaching assistant Teddy Markum, Charity enrolls in college and finally decides to stop living in fear of her past.
But as soon as she finds happiness again, the people around her begin to die. Same way. Same symbol.
Unwilling to lose the friends who have essentially become her family, Charity will have to run toward that past she so desperately wants to get away from and solve the mystery of the deaths surrounding her before it's too late. And the final tide comes in.
In a new paranormal trilogy, Zia Marie presents a terrifying twist on a piece of Greek mythology that will keep you out of the water.
October
On Katelynn's last day of junior year, a hurricane destroys much of Linwood, Texas. Instead of having another summer of lying poolside, she and her friends decide to volunteer with Sanctuary, a non-profit organization that provides aid to victims of natural disasters.
She expected it to be an unforgettable summer, especially after she meets football star, Griffin Meyer, the son of the family she is staying with. But as the volunteers sweep through neighborhoods searching for survivors and set up supply stations, they uncover a secret that has literally been buried for 30 years, and it will become an experience to change her life forever.
December/January
Everyone has the one who got away. And for Nora Branum, his name was Adam Baker. The love of her life who died in a car accident the night after their high school graduation.
Four years later, she's still not over it.
Then a chance encounter allows her to travel back in time and save Adam. But interfering with things in the past necessarily come at a price in the future. And when that future actually arrives, Nora will have to make a devastating choice.

Schedule
I have gone back and forth on whether or not to post a schedule because I change my mind a lot and I'm really impulsive, but I reached a compromise with myself. Instead of posting specific release dates, I would post months where possible.
It's a doable schedule, and this way, I can write and still exist outside of it LOL. Fair?
2011
November: Lost, The Taken Trilogy, #2
2012
February: Gone, The Taken Trilogy, #3
June: Current: The first book in a paranormal trilogy. It'll start in 2012, book two will be in 2013 and the final one will be in 2014.
October: After The Storm - stand alone realistic fiction about a girl who goes to hurricane-ravaged Linwood, Texas to aid in cleanup, but gets wrapped up in a cold case.
December/January: A Beautiful Struggle: paranormal, sci-fi mix, but it's a romance, too. Nora's boyfriend, Adam, is killed in a car accident and she gets a chance to bring him back. However, things don't go quite as planned. The premise will sound like you've heard it before, but I really hope I'm adding a whole new element. I like to experiment so we'll see how this goes.
This will actually be 2012/2013 release. It will probably be December 31st if I can make it really perfect by then. If not, mid-January. It'll affect the rest of the 2013 releases, but not too much.
All of these books are up on Good Reads so add them if you like, and I'll keep you posted on release dates.
2013
Torrent
The Archer (was supposed to be a trilogy, no longer is) - A fairytale-ish book about a female archer and prince.
The Dream Killers: A brother and sister run an usual business. Inception-esque, sort of, so lots of dream stuff.
The Persephone Prophecy: The End

FOUR days of Lost quotes, (The Taken Trilogy, Book #2) Day #4
Side note: I'm falling in love with Jackson as I write, and it's so damn pathetic.
I want to write Sasha a letter for every day that we are apart. I want to tell her that even though my love for her would never feed me or clothe me or keep me from dying, somehow it is the the only thing sustaining me. And that I am angry because I had to give up the best thing I had ever had. And explain the unfairness of existing in a world that she does no longer. Maybe it is worse than death because she is still alive.
I won't tell her that I worked on that for four solid days. In fact, I don't tell anyone anything anymore.
They look to me, and I don't have the heart to tell them the truth. That I am broken. That I am desperate.
I stay quiet. Because I have to be brave.

FOUR days of Lost quotes!! (The Taken Trilogy, Book#2) Day #3
German points to me. Then to the other young man. The smile on German's face reeks of bloodlust. His eyes are cold and malevolent. Even as he stands perfectly still, I know that he is the most dangerous person I have ever met.
"You fight to the death," he says. He smells of booze and sweat.
"What? That's insane," Charlie screams. "We'll just leave. We can leave."
German shakes his head. "They fight or everyone dies."
NOTE: This quote was edited in a minor way so as to not reveal any spoilers.

FOUR days of Lost quotes (The Taken Trilogy, Book #2) Day #2
"We're all going to die because of me. This was a suicide mission, and it always has been. It's not fair."
A salty tear drips down past my mouth. Then another. And another until I can't see her face clearly anymore. "I can't do this." The pain, the anger, they clench my throat and threaten to suffocate me. I feel powerless and drained. I feel like I'm wasting away. And because of my choices, I'll take all of them with me. We'll fade from a world where no one knows we exist.
She drops to her haunches and scoots until she's right in front of me, between my legs. She takes me in her arms and holds me close. The sweat on her face mixes with my tears.
"It's not fair," she says. Her voice is small and whispered. "The world never wants you to fight. It punishes you for fighting. It's relentless. Bigger, stronger and crueler, and it knows that you'll give up before it does. But here's something I learned a long time ago, Jackson. The world is just made up of men. People who breathe air and bleed red like me and you."
