FIRST FEW CHAPTERS OF LOST!!
Without further ado:
The beginning of Chapter 1 of "Lost"!!!! This will be the link to return to everyday if you want to read (I'll post it every day too, no worries!). I'll only add things. I'll never take things away, so don't worry about missing anything. I expect to post through Chapter 3 before November ends!!
I hope you enjoy (a part of) the second part of Jackson's story!! =)
It hasn't been edited, so while you are reading how the story will appear with any changes, all grammatical/typos have not been addressed.

WANT TO READ THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS OF LOST? OKAY, SURE!
Hope you're recovering well from your Black Friday shopping..
So I gave Taken away for free yesterday and you're probably thinking, "Um, hello? What about me? The faithful reader who already bought it?"
You! I love you, too! So much so that I've created a Google Doc of the first few chapters of Lost.
This is actually a final edit so when the book comes out, nothing that you read now will have changed. I'm super nervous about this. Super. Suuuuuper. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, ladies and gents.
The link'll be posted this coming Sunday and will be available through release date.

UPDATE: SMASHWORDS SALE!! Thanksgiving, Boys and Reviewers...all in the same place... HERE!
I can't believe it's time for Thanksgiving already! I'm looking forward to two things this weekend:
1) Making dessert. That's always my responsibility....I'm not trusted with anything else.
2) Hopefully finishing this damn book. LOL. I love Jackson, but every time I write, I'm a little closer to wrapping up his story. That kind of makes me sad.
BTW, I love reading reviews (Have I stalked you on Good Reads yet?). I love you guys for even thinking about my books.
Speaking of reviewers, where are the fellas? Don't boys read? I like to think that Jackson isn't all weepy. I tried to keep it fresh for the female audience and the male audience...except no guys are reviewing. Do me a favor...let your brother, best guy friend, boyfriend, YA-loving husband read "Taken" and make him write something on GoodReads. Please? Did I capture males correctly? It's hard to write for a male MC. Sometimes, I have to put myself in the situation and write the opposite of what I would do LOL. Haha.
Anyway, I'm serious. Share the story with a guy you know. Let me know how it goes....
P.S. All day Thanksgiving sale of everyone's favorite sibling duo: Jackson and Aubrey on Smashwords for the low, low price OF....free. Yeah Taken's free! (Starting now...really!) One day only. Use this coupon: MR76R at checkout!

NaNoWriMo? FAQ's?
I seriously forgot it was NaNo. Well, the good news is that I'm already writing so, I guess that's good. A month and week away from Lost's release...that's kind of scary. Ick. Stomach hurts.
Enough about me.
I hope everyone is writing and having an amazing time. It never hurts to get your thoughts out on paper. It can be quite liberating. A professor gave me some advice about writing once "Think of it as a way to write what should've happened." Meaning if there's a situation you've been regretting, it often helps to write it down the way you wanted it to go. I do that all the time. SO, happy NaNo!
Oh and before I forget, don't hesitate to write me about my books or me or any questions you have. I won't guarantee answers you like, but I always write back. Here's one:
Between Lost and Gone, Sasha and Jackson will reunite, right? Yes but I won't tell you where and when and how. Just know that it's MAJOR, and it's good and bad.

I Should Explain...
"Lost" and "Over There" aren't happening at the exact same time, and I'm going to explain it now (as best and as not confusing as I can...) because it's on my mind:
- "Lost" picks up immediately where "Taken" left off.
"Over There" begins about three weeks after the end of "Taken."
Why did I do it that way? That's where my impulse led me. And again, they're literally two separate books so it's fine. I didn't want to be jumping back and forth between POV's.
Well, we're about a month and a half away from release. I have to admit, the more people read "Taken," the more anxious I get about "Lost." But it's the story I want to tell. I love that you guys love "Taken." And I do hope you love "Lost," but I want it to be the way I want the story to go and not what you expect necessarily.
So anyway read "Lost" first and then "Over There" or vice versa, if you're feeling screwy.
