I'm stalking you
Since Google stats let's me see what you're looking at when you come here, I do pay attention. So here's what I've gathered.
1- You really want to know when "Lost" is coming out: May 17th is the day I'm publishing. And we're still on schedule for that date. Yay!
I'm always talking books and releases and blah blah, so once "Lost" is out, and while I'm taking an extended vacation from writing before "Gone" gets out, I'll blog more non-book related things. A fireside chat, if you will. Just me and all of you. Good?
And happy Monday.

Naughty, Naughty Spoilers!
I don't know about you, but I live for tv spoilers on Tvline.com, E! Online and EW! It's too tempting not to look! I'm thinking about doing some (very vague) plot spoilers Q&A's for "Lost" but only if people are interested and not asking questions that require detailed answers. I'm okay if no one wants to ask anything, I literally can't watch tv without having some vague idea about what's coming. If you're that way, drop me an email: ziamariebooks@gmail.com between now and a week from today, and I'll post the questions and answers on my Facebook page and here. Don't worry, I'll turn all the questions into links so you'll only know the answers if you want.

Look what I got from IndieReader today
"IndieReader (www.indiereader.com), the essential consumer guide to self-pubbed books and the people who write them, has just launched a regular feature called "Alike But Indie".
Every week (or so) we choose a best selling traditionally published book and then list indies in the same (or similar) genre. Your title has made this week's list."
A huge thanks to Amy Holman Edelman!!!

How do Jackson and Sasha cope?
Very messily LOL. On the upside, they're making friends (and possibly some enemies).... ;)

I'm one of those people who probably loves everything you hate
Like love triangles. I always see people ranting against love triangles. And I'm not talking about in my books, just in general.
What do people have against love triangles? I love them. I live for them. I think they're funny. No, I don't think playing with people's emotions in real life is funny. But in books? Perfectly acceptable. Books are an escape. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not writing a guide to anyone's life, and I hope no one is reading anything I write and expecting that (No seriously, gah, I hope not). I, for one, believe in completely suspending disbelief when reading.
The Sims is one of my favorite games. I've been playing Sims games since, well, my dad bought me my first Sim City game (I think I was like 8 or 9). Anyway, my love of love triangles has really been exacerbated by The Sims. My Sim couples manage to stay faithful for maybe a week in Sim world because I just can't help the introduction of the love triangle. Then, all hell breaks loose. Sims get into fights, newspapers get stolen, trashcans get kicked over (If you haven't played, just bear with my nerdiness), it's disturbing...but so much fun.
Again, this isn't real-life. Sure isn't supposed to be. Personally, I don't want to read about a life that's as boring as mine. I want people to fall in love in two weeks. I want a boy to come in between two best friends. I want people to be insanely jealous. I want them to do stupid things that drive you crazy.
I want three people to be absolutely miserable.
Yeah, so maybe, it's sadistic and a little evil. But it's so damn fun. It's all in good (devilish) fun.
