Waste of time

I had a reviewer post a review that she didn't like Gem Rats..........okay, and not everyone will.  The funny thing is she states she wasted 4 hours reading it.  My question is why?  If she really didn't like it, why do you think she kept "wasting" time?  Then she states she was 93% finished when she decided she didn't like it...............4 hours, 93%...............I think someone should read to be entertained, challenged, get a different perspective, something,  if one is only reading to calculate a time "wasted" or a percentage, they really should have put it down a lot sooner.  Happy reading to those who have/do enjoy it.

Story

There is always a story............................everywhere I go there is always a story.  Everyone has one and often times they have a sadness to them.

New flavor of the month

“Shut up,” Jillian chuckled.  “You know what I mean.  These women that are willing to risk losing what they have.  If she thinks John is fucking around call him on it, or divorce him and take half, not find some new flavor of the month.”--Lisa Loomis (Gem Rats--a novel)

Kaleidoscope

He fell in beside me, and we jogged back to camp.  The feelings swirled in me like a kaleidoscope, anger, hurt, love, and hope.  I realized if he didn’t feel the same, there was nothing I could do.   It was there or not.--Lisa Loomis (Casanova Cowboy--a novel)

Stop

He kissed me again before I could get anything else out.  I kissed him back.  I could taste the beer and the marijuana.  I didn’t want to kiss him and I wanted to kiss him.  Stop.  I wanted him to stop, and not to stop.  Why, why, why, kept flashing in my head.--Lisa Loomis (Boy in a Band--a novel)

Rodeo

He wants to keep you hanging, coming back for more.  Initially maybe he didn’t want to scare you off with reality.  Stella don’t you see what he is?  You’re not his first rodeo girl he has done this same thing to other women, the girlfriend for one.--Lisa Loomis (Gem Rats--a novel)
