I know your game
He needed to make her want him, reel
her in slowly so she didn’t even recognize what was happening. Linda wanted to say something to him like ‘I
know your game’ but she didn’t dare, it was none of her business. She’d learned that lesson also, you couldn’t
stop it; if people were going to have an affair they would, despite anyone’s
efforts.

Guy answer
He waited while I opened the card and read it. It was a belated birthday card. “I hope it was a good one. I’ve been thinking about you. Love, Ryan”.
I wanted to kill my mother. I
read the card again.
“What does that
mean? I’ve been thinking about you? Is he fucking kidding me? Why would he send a card like that?” I said,
throwing the card on the counter.
Doug picked the
card up and read it.
“Why?” I asked.
I looked into
Doug’s eyes when he finished.
“I don’t
know. Maybe he’s been thinking about you,”
he said.
I slapped his
chest.
“That’s such a guy
answer,” I said feeling miserable.

Prepared
He opened his desk draw and pulled out a
pencil box. Inside were several joints
already rolled along with a bag of pot and a packet of papers.
“You’re obviously prepared,” I said.
He smiled, putting a joint behind
his ear and stuffing a book of matches in his pocket. He opened his window and got on the desk.
“Come on,” he said, as he jumped to
the ground outside.
“I don’t have shoes on,” I
protested.
“Come on I’ll help you.”
I sat on the desk and spun around,
dropping my legs out the window. He reached up putting his hands on my
legs. I scooted further out and he moved
his hands to my hips, picking me up, and lowering me softly to the ground. I followed him around to the side of the
house.

Promise me
He was
holding my hand.
“I’ll miss you in my bed.”
“That’s nice, is that all it was for
you?” I asked.
“No Morgan it wasn’t, and you know
it,” he said seriously.
“Promise me-”
He put his finger to my lips.
“I can’t make promises and neither
can you,” he said.
I pulled his finger away.

Just like that
When I felt it was impossible for me to slow down he took me up and
over, and I could feel us both explode into each other. When we finished he relaxed into me, kissing
my neck. I rubbed his back. I wanted to stay right there, just like that. When he moved off he did so slowly, pulling
me to him, holding me tight still rubbing my body.--Lisa Loomis (Casanova Cowboy--a novel) Available on Amazon.com

Block
There are times I tell myself I can't do this and I have to take a break.................
When I do, I discover that I can't stop thinking about the stories. They are inside me, just waiting to get out. It's not a choice really, I understand I have to write.
