Hmm?

So yesterday as I was writing on my newest novel I was thinking about my characters and I'm not sure whether one of them throws this book into paranormal……….I never set out to write paranormal but it's possible that I am.

Wikipedia--Paranormal is a general term (coined c. 1915–1920[1][2]) that designates experiences that lie outside "the range of normal experience or scientific explanation"[3] or that indicates phenomena understood to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure.

Jordan pulls his cigarettes from his backpack and taps one out. I hate it that he smokes, but he’s eighteen now, and I really can’t force him to stop, only to go outside. He puts the cigarette behind his ear.            “Dad, do you ever wish you hadn’t taken us to the playground that day?”            The question is sort of out of left field, and I realize he is thinking about Britt and what happened to her.
