Life can turn on a dime
a blessing becomes a curse
and vice-versa;
sometimes the worst thing
can turn into the best
and we never know, do we?
until we look behind
and see the moment our fingers
spun the dime
and watched it twirl
suspended in time
its revolutions determining
that very moment
when the dime will fall
and life will turn once more
