Right now, I am working on my memoir of growing up in Papua New Guinea, with the tentative title: "Every Place I've Never Been."

“if religious people are going to be blamed for all the intolerance, then non-religious people simply have no right to be intolerant themselves.”
Tom Hilpert, Superior Justice

“Of course, it was always hard to tell the sleepers apart from the Norwegian Lutherans, not to mention the dead people. They all tended to express the same amount of emotion. I consider myself an elite preacher, because I regularly inspire a few Lutherans to nod in agreement when I’m speaking.”
Tom Hilpert, Superior Secrets

“guilt is an artificial construct used by the elites of society to oppress others and maintain control.”

“The five marks of the Roman decaying culture:

Concern with displaying affluence instead of building wealth;

Obsession with sex and perversions of sex;

Art becomes freakish and sensationalistic instead of creative and original;

Widening disparity between very rich and very poor;

Increased demand to live off the state.”
