Margaret Taylor was born in Whittier, CA. She went to Carleton College and graduated in 2010 with a degree in biology. She currently resides in Minneapolis, where she is a postdoc on a plant biology project.

Margaret has written three novels, Grizelda, which was released in 2008, The Confederacy of Heaven, (2010), and Cannon Fodder, which came out in 2014.

Besides writing, Margaret's interests include zeppelins, non-Euclidean geometry, and slime molds.
