Eat, Play, Love: Breakfast at World Club Lounge
I’m not much a morning person. More often than not, I feel like a zombie in the morning, so naturally, I was extremely tempted to snuggle and sleep in when I was in Genting.
But then we have these…complimentary breakfast coupons, so I dragged myself up for breakfast with my family.
World Club Lounge in First World Hotel.
Our window seat. The view was breathtaking from up there.
It was a really cold morning. So despite the fact that there loads of my favourites like nasi lemak and assorted curry noodles, I opt for Teowchew porridge with condiments instead to warm my tummy.
And then there’s Ham and cheese omelete and a side of lettuce drizzled with Thousand Island dressings. The omelete was huge, I couldn’t finish it. But hubby was famished. So he helped me clean my plate.
On hubby’s plate. Bread and pastries
Assembled a sandwich out of French toasts, ham and cheddar cheese for the three of us.
Last but not least, egg over easy on toast topped with cream cheese.
Not much can be said about World Club Lounge. I wish the place is bigger with more varieties of food, but I’ll give credit where it’s due. The service here is excellent, something that one should not overlook.

Eat, Play,Love: Backstage with The Stars
After the dazzling show, us social media influencers were given an opportunity to meet and greet the stars of Fantastica!2.
Quite an inspiring experience, I must say. Here’s the photos taken backstage, and a little bit about them
Upside Down Walker, Kai Leclerc is a Canadian born and raised in Milan, Italy. He is an inventor, director and producer of various imaginative aerial acts as well as magic tricks for theater productions. As a self-taught actor and performing arts director, he developed the Upside Down Ceiling walker performance, which was inspired by a century-old act with roots in Indian traditions and culture. The astounding stunt involves him singing, dancing and juggling with his feet stuck to the ceiling and his head pointing towards the ground. His extraordinary work has received recognition at international festivals in Monte Carlo and Moscow. With all these credentials under his belt, you can be sure to expect nothing but the best from Kai Leclerc. Beside him is his partner in crime.
Rola Rola Man. Hailing from Portugal, Dany Daniel is a master of balance and famously known as the “Rola Rola Man”. He began his career at the age of 14 in France and has been entertaining at numerous venues worldwide for 25 years, performing both on stage and TV shows. Assisted by the beautiful Edina, he continues to defy the law of gravity with each performance in what is touted as one of the world’s fastest and most complicated balancing act. Dany Daniel’s act is so impressive that he was invited to perform at the 89th Royal Variety Performance in Liverpool, which was attended by Queen Elizabeth II.
Bubble magician Jano Yang. His artistic manipulation of soap bubbles, which he spent 20 years perfecting, will make you laugh and smile or just stare in awe. His unique talent earned him a nomination for Best Artist in the popular French TV Show “Le Plis Grand Cabaret du Monde’. He performed for 3 years in the Italian Bubble Production and fully joined Fan Yang’s productions around the world in 2004. Most recently, Jano starred in the “Mega Bubble Show” in las Vegas, “Fan Yang’s Bubble World” in Seoul, and “Gazillion Bubble Show” in USA and Canada.
Deo Aqua Mermaids. Deo Aqua Mermaids is comprised of Anudati and Khaliun, two beautiful ladies from Mongolia who are skilled in the delicate art of contortion. As members of the renowned Khulan Circus, they can also perform trapeze acts. Watch as they gracefully flex and bend their bodies into seemingly impossible poses and positions in their ethereal Water Bowl act. In 2009, they won the Best Act and Best Artist award at the Mongolian Circus Festival and the Best Act award at the Italian Circus Festival in 2010. The talented pair has performed on stage in South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, and Europe in addition to appearing in cruise liner shows all around the world.

Eat, Play, Love: Experiencing the Magic with Fantastica 2
Stop! Don’t turn your screen upside down yet. You’re seeing that right. The picture is meant to be upside down like this. This is one of the fantastical performance I’ve had the pleasure to witness during my trip to Genting last week.
Here’ s introducing to you the Upside Down Ceiling Walker, performing century-old history of Indian tradition and culture. The Upside Down Ceiling Walker walks inverted with their feet stuck to the ceiling, defying law of gravity.
The late Sir Isaac Newton would toss and turn in his grave should he see this. Upside Down Ceiling Walker playing tennis, hanging 30feet above the ground.
They don’t just walk and play tennis, they danced beautifully too. This is something you have to witness for yourself to believe.
Comedic ballet act performed by Portuguese performer Dany Daniel and dancer Edina is perhaps one of the most memorable performance to me and the rest of my blogger friends that night. Why do I say this? Hahaha…well, that’s because my husband was dragged up to the stage to perform ballet with them in front of hundreds of audience, in full tutu dress and accessories, no less. That, my dear readers, is something truly unforgettable. To see my husband who have qualms wearing even a pink shirt on stage in a tutu skirt is priceless. LOL.
Those who appreciate energetic and powerful performance will not be disappointed too. The European dancers will entertain you with contemporary dance routine by 14 international free stylist. Dancing is not all they will do for you. There’s runway show too, something the artists and fashionistas will be able to appreciate..
Dance performance
Dancer mingling with the crowd
If you think that’s all Fantastica! 2 have to offer, then I’m sorry to burst your bubbles. One thing that’s not to be missed is the manipulation of foan by Jano Yang in the Gazillion Bubble Show.
Bubble magician Jano Yang, manipulating the foam.
The showcase of bubbly magic is truly enchanting.
Jano Yang will definitely mesmerize you with his bubble manipulation skills. Will you just look at that?
Unbubblievable! His skillful artistry without a doubt enchanted me and my family that night.
Heart-stopping performance by Rola Rola Man, Dany Daniel. Yup. He’s the one who performed the comedic ballet with the beautiful ballet dancer Edina earlier on.
Just look at him balance himself here. Gosh. He certainly make me feel nervous. I felt as if my heart was in my mouth when he did this.
Mesmerizing and enchanting is next is the beautiful Deo Aqua Mermaids.
Coming all the way from the internationally renowned Khulan Circus, stunning Mongolian beauty Anudari and Khaliun aimed to impress with their aquatic agility.
Deo Aqua Mermaids in the aquarium
Outstanding performance by Deo Aqua Mermaids.
Perfectly synchronized
Neck-breaking stunt by Deo Aqua Mermaids.
Overall, Fantastica! 2 is an amazing experience for me qnd my family. One for the album, the entire Fantastica 2 casts.
5 dazzling and enchanting acts in one show. Something you should consider if you are looking for some quality and memorable time with your family this school holiday.

Eat, Play, Love: Dinner with Loved Ones at Coffee Terrace Resorts World Genting
After enjoying the puppet show with my loved ones and blogger friends, our host ushered us to Coffee Terrace, located at the Lobby Floor Genting Grand.
Dinner was buffet style and there are varieties of food to choose from;Local Favourites, Nyonya Delights, Japanese, Malay, Chinese etc. Diners are spoiled for choices, but it was full house that night and famished cuz I skipped lunch, I simply grab what I can.
Deep fried sea bass and greenbeans from Western counter.
A little something from Western stall. Grilled lamb with black pepper stuffed roast beef, Mac and cheese. The lamb and the beef were beautifully done no gamey taste or funny smell whatsoever, and I can’t find any faults with the rich and creamy Mac and cheese.
A little something from Chinese and Japanese stall: Fried squid balls, deep fried crab and oyster pancake (oh chien). Fried squid balls and deep fried crabs was all right. Adeptly fried, but I find the oyster pancake was too gooey and rubbery to my liking.
On Hubby’s plate: Grilled lamb, grilled chicken breast, pasta and sauteed long beans. I sampled some. These are all right too, but hubby did not like the pasta that much. According to him, it was rather bland.
Penang Lorbak drizzled with sweet and savoury sauce from Local Favourites. Kiddo loves this. Had two helpings of these.
Assorted sushi and sashimi from Japanese stall. A must have should you patronize Coffee Terrace.
Desserts that my husband and I shared. I was rather full and not much of a sweet tooth, I only sampled the ice cream and the jellies.
And desserts on Wendy‘s plate. She couldn’t finish some of it, so in the end my boy hijacked em and helped her clean her plate.
The food was great, but the glutton in me regret the fact that I overlooked the current promotion that’s ongoing in Coffee Terrace. They are having this West Coast vs East Coast Food Promotion where regional Malaysian cuisine will battle it out for culinary supremacy. Feast from both sides of peninsula is offered to diners and I foolishly overlooked it when I was there. Talk about being too hungry. LOL.Well, I guess there’s always next time.
The West Coast vs East Coast food promotion will be offered from 18 to 30th November 2013, pricing at merely RM88 nett (adult) and RM45 nett (child). Buffet lunch is available from 12.00noon to 2.30pm while buffet dinner is available from 5.00pm to 9.30pm.
Should you wish to enjoy the tantalizing spread from both Malaysian coasts, do check out www.rwgenting or call 03-61011118 for more information.

Eat, Play, Love: Stars on Strings
After refreshing ourselves in the room in First World Hotel, we’re out to catch some puppeteers and their marionettes in ‘Stars on Strings’ show in Resorts World Genting. Kiddo was particularly excited, as it will be his first time watching puppet show on stage.
For those who are not familiar with the term marionette, allow me to divulge abit. A marionette is a puppet controlled from above using wires or strings depending on regional variations. A marionette’s puppeteer is called a manipulator. Marionettes are operated with the puppeteer hidden or revealed to an audience by using a vertical or horizontal control bar in different forms of theatres or entertainment venues.
Neway, we were just in time for the show that day. As the curtain draws, the show kicked off with some very interesting acts. My son who is usually hyper and couldn’t sit still, was mesmerized by the magic spun by the puppeteers. The accompanying background music were catchy too, and it’s very hard not to fall in love with the wonderful performances.
My jaw nearly dropped when I saw this scene. Will you just take a look at that? This is something to wow for! The puppeteers could actually control a few marionettes at once! WOW! That’s some skill they have there. I bet they took a very, very long time to practice and perfect all the movements.
Stars on Strings feature plenty of humourous and memorable narrative for the audience to enjoy. I loved this one in particular.
This particular puppet narrative reminds me of the story from 1001 Nights.
Unveiling of the puppets, exclusively for us social media influencers.
Just like the Pied Piper of Hamelin…
And adults alike to him like a moth to the flame without failed.
Here’s introducing the men who were responsible for our good time that day.
John Chrishom and Josef Probst. They are the puppeteers who made all these marionettes comes alive with pull of a hundreds of strings. Hailed as the absolute ultimate in marionette entertainment, John and Josef are wholly responsible for the creation and animation of each of their puppets.
The attention to detail in each and every character is impeccable, the movement range and mechanism truly amazing, and the operational artistry absolutely second to none. Take a look at these puppets. I can easily recognize them as Micheal Jackson, a rendition of Elvis Presley and a stripper
The attention to details is really amazing.
That’s my boy, checking out the marionettes during our exclusive interview session with John and Josef. He’s a tad curious about it and wondered if he could make them move the way the puppeteers did on stage earlier.
Apparently, my boy was not the only one who was curious about the marionettes.
Here’s our friend Sohoque, trying his best to pull the strings to make the beautiful puppet move, but to no avail. The puppet was heavy! This one in particular is at least 20 kg, and Josef and John fooled us into thinking that the puppets were as light as feather!
Blogger friend Mr.Jocko trying to make Micheal Jackson do moonwalk.
My lovely friend Wendy did not want to miss the fun too. While me? I chickened out a lil bit after hearing them telling me how heavy the puppet was. I was afraid that it will fall down and flatten me, so I did not give it a try.
But for what it’s worth, it was a fun and wonderful experience for me and family.
The fun did not end there, though. After dinner, we headed over to Genting Showroom to watch Fantastica 2.
Keep a lookout for my next post on Fantastica 2, yea?
Don’t want to miss out the fun? Well, there’s still time. Stars on Strings Show is playing at Resorts World Genting from 16 November to 9 December 2013. Tickets priced at RM25 (VIP) and RM15 (PSI). First World Indoor Theme Park of Fantastica 2 ticket holders just need to top up Rm10 and will get one PS1 ticket to watch Stars on Strings. To watch this spectacular performance, you may hop over to www.rwgenting.com or call 03-61011118.
Cleffairy: Up next will be about the mesmerizing Fantastica 2.

Eat, Play, Love: Short Getaway Trip to Genting
Like I mentioned in my previous post, my loved ones and I decided to join a media trip to Genting.

We arrived pretty late, and the weather was cold and foggy in First World Hotel. First World Hotel is one of the world’s largest hotels and is adjoined to the First World Plaza which boasts 500,000 sq feet of indoor theme park, shopping centre and food galore. A lush, grand tropical rainforest greets guests at the main entrance of the First World Hotel, followed by a spacious Spanish courtyard lobby.
The clock indicates local time for major cities in the world. Awesome thing.
Lift lobby that will transport us to another world…I mean…lead us back to our room.
This is where we stay for the night.
Ahemmm…I wanted privacy to do some rather naughty stuff with my husband, so the first thing I did upon arrival was to hang the ‘ Do Not Disturb’ sign on the doorknob.
TV was provided for guests’ viewing pleasure, but we decided that there are better things to do than just watch the idiot box.
Toilet was squeaky clean. Thumbs up for cleanliness to First World Hotel.
Shower booth was small. My husband was complaining about how it can barely fit one person, but he soon discovers that the shower booth is perfectly designed for intimacy between lovers if you know how to get creative while showering. LOL
Vanity mirror strategically located outside of the shower booth and toilet.
Toiletries was provided for guests, so no worries if you decided an impromptu trip or wants to travel light.
The first thing we did upon arrival to the room was look for power points to charge our gadgets, and I’m happy to report that ample power sockets was available for usage. Definitely a gadget friendly room.
Writing table and vanity mirror.
Our Queen sized bed. Great for not only sleep, but various intimate activities.
Overall, the room in First World Hotel is comfortable and clean. As far as I’m concerned, it’s decently priced too. So if you’re making a trip to Genting, First World Hotel can be places in your accommodation consideration list. All rooms are comfortably furnished with modern amenities.
Check out the video on First World Hotel Here. One notable service in First World Hotel is self service check in and check out. Pretty convenient, if you ask me. For room bookings and reservation, click HERE
Neway, we did not slack much in the room as the Stars on Strings was starting in half an hour, and we wouldn’t want to miss the interesting show, so after refreshing ourselves, we went to the lobby to meet the rest.
Cleffairy: There must be a balance between family, work and play.

Eat, Play, Love:Traveling with Ephyra
School holiday is finally here, folks. How is it so far for you? I had a great start this year. Unlike the previous year, I spend loads of quality time with my loved ones this year. We do a lot of things together…eat, play, and defying tradition where we just stay home during school holidays, this year we decided to join a short media trip and get out of our little cave a little bit.
Since it was just a short weekend trip, we decided to travel light. We used this lovely Ephyra bag to stuff in our clothings. LOL. Can you believe that? Well, you better believe it cuz I decided not to pack up any travel bags and use this instead. Yes. We just used ONE Ephyra tote bag. Why? Well, to avoid us bringing all sort of unnecessary junks. We’re pretty famous for bringing all sort of things from home as comfort item whenever we’re away from home.
All I packed up in the bag was just chargers for our smartphones and gadgets, a change of clothes for each of us and of course, a must have in my travel bag; my huge sunglasses to protect my eyes from the glare of the sun and a few sachets of Ephyra for myself to drink. Packed in small sachets, Ephyra is definitely traveler friendly.
Drinking Ephyra is a must during travels. A MUST. Why? Well, not only it helps me to stay beautiful and young, but because it doubles as a great energy booster. Remember in my previous posts where I mentioned the benefits of Ephyra? Well, I’ve been consuming Ephyra for 2 months now, and going well into my third, and I’ve seen wonderful effects it does to my body. Apart from keeping my skin radiant with a healthy glow, it gives me so much stamina throughout the day. I noticed that consuming Ephyra keeps me alert during travel and gives me less headache and motion sickness. I used to travel poorly because I feel so sick whenever I take public transport for a long distance journey, but not anymore with Ephyra. It must be one of it’s benefit, I suppose…the ingredient must have some sort of neutralizing/stabilizing properties that helps my body environment to work better…giving me less headache, less queasy feeling when I’m in a vehicle.
Here’s a picture of us social media influencers in the bus trip to Genting. I’ll be frank with you. I did not sleep the night before as I was rushing for datelines. I should have been low on energy by 2pm, but thanks to Ephyra, I still feel fresh by the time the bus touched down in Genting World Resort that evening. Media trip’s itinerary are usually packed, and this one does not make any difference. As soon as we checked-in to the hotel, we were immediately ushered for events that we’re supposed to enjoy and cover for.
The first in the organizer’s list was Stars on String performance. It was a really exciting puppet show.
After 2 hours of dinner break, then it’s time for another event, which is Fantastica 2, a really magical performance by talented people from all over the world.
I should have dropped dead that night after the performance, but I was still as energized as a Duracell bunny at 2am, all thanks to Ephyra. Instead of sleeping like the rest of my media friends, I decided to walk around and experience the nightlife in Genting.
No, I didn’t gamble, but took loads of selfies with kiddo here, and pretty much happy with the result.
I like how healthy and radiant I look now after consuming Ephyra. I no longer look like a walking corpse. I feel great inside out, thanks to Ephyra.
See the time indicated on the clocktower? Well, we fooled around til it was 3am before I was really ready to call it a day.
Ephyra is one of the item in my travel bag as it gives me so much benefit instead of just making me look good. I’m not going to write a long-winded post on how goos it is that I decided to religiously consuming it daily. You can refer to my previous post about my 14 days beauty challenge with Ephyra HERE yourself to see how Ephyra benefited me from day 1 to day 14.

Chicken Pizza at Old Hadrawart Setapak
It’s been awhile since I had pizza, so yesterday, when my client ordered chicken pizza for us to enjoy during our meeting in Old Hadrawart, Setapak, I was pretty esctatic.
Unfortunately for us, our dining experience was not very pleasant. The service was terribly slow despite the fact that there’s only us patronizing the restaurant. The pizza took almost 1 hour to arrive and the staff are not very friendly too.
When we asked for the bill, we were told that they don’t have change for RM50 and insist for exact change. We were baffled even more when the staff told us to go and change the money with nearby restaurant. Wow. I thought they would at least accommodate us by taking the RM50 and make an effort to change it to smaller bills from the nearby restaurant, but no. They refused to budge.
Well, with attitude like that, I now know why their restaurant is perpetually empty despite the tasty food.
Cleffairy: Another restaurant on my banned list.

Launching of Video Brochure at Khadijah’s Kitchen
I used to be such a recluse and only stay home, day in, day out and only spend time with my boys. Every single things was centered on them. But I come to realize that it doesn’t do me any good that I don’t go out much and socialize with the rest of the world. It makes me feel jaded and unhappy. And as the boys see me always there, naturally, appreciation does not come easy. And feeling unappreciated makes me an unhappy person. And an unhappy person makes a rotten wife and a grumpy mother.
I realized how important it is for me to be a happy individual in order to be a happy wife and mother. And so, I started to go out, make friends, socialize, and drag my boys with me to have fun during food reviews and events…and to be honest, I feel much, much better than being cooped up at home.
Neway, it was Saturday again, and instead of staying home, we joined the good folks from Blooggersdotcom for the first Bloggersdotcom gathering cum product launching. It’s a pretty cool event where we get to mingle with new faces and oh… get to taste good food, of course.
Recognize her? She’s Dato’ Khadijah, one of Malaysia’s renown Malay artist, who also happens to be the owner of Khadijah’s Kitchen, Setapak.
The assorted Malay cakes in her restaurant is a must try. They are all authentic and yummylicious.
My son loves these so much that he nearly cleared all that’s on our table.
The Laksa Utara is to die for. I’m always picky when it comes to Laksa, but these are absolutely divine.
On hubby’s plate; prawn fritters and fried noodles. I did not try the fried noodles, so no comment on that. You got to go to my husband’s blog to find out how it tastes like, but the prawn fritters are adeptly fried and perfectly paired with their special homemade chilli sauce. A lovely dish that I will recommend should you want to have hi-tea here in Khadijah’s Kitchen.
Yummylicious cake from one of the sponsors, Cheez&Choc.
Kiddo loves these.
One of the pic during the launching of Video Brochure. Video Brochures is a new way of advertising, full motion video content in any print media. Ideal for direct mail, magazine inserts, educational and training manuals, corporate reports, retail marketing and promotional branding campaigns. You see, technology has had a huge impact on the way businesses can promote their products, the latest innovation is the video brochure. Using a targeted marketing message along with a high quality video, Businesses can now showcase their products in a whole new way with fraction of the price. I won’t talk much about that. Let the video below speaks for itself.
You can find out all about them online here at www.videobrosur.com.my or via their facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/VideoBrosurSME/app_251458316228.
Fun games during the event. I didn’t not participate. was too busy stuffing my face with good food and cakes.
But it was my lucky day. My blogger friend Nizam won a shawl by Puji and gave em to me as pressie. The shawl is really lovely, I must say. Great for Muslimah fashion or a mere accessory to complement your outfit.
Cake cutting ceremony between Blooggersdotcom and representative from Video Brochure. The cake from Coklatmanis2u was really nice. I shamelessly had a few helpings of it.
One for the album
It was indeed lovely to be able to have fun and meet new people. And meet plenty of generous sponsors who sponsored goodies for the event that day. A refreshing and well-spent weekend, I must say.
