A Very Different New Year

I can finally say goodbye to 2013. Last year was a hell of a year, and those who are close to me would know exactly what I’m talking about. I definitely can’t wait to put everything that happens where it belongs: in the past.

Plenty of things changed where my personal life is concerned, and while 1st Jan 2014 is just another public holiday to me and I don’t exactly have a resolution to begin my year with, I’m quite determined to live one day at a time happily and peacefully.

Anyhow, like I said, things changed a lot. I’m walking in a different direction now, and surrounding myself with people who are not only positive, but non-judgmental and very supportive of the things that I do. I find such people are easier to deal with than people who complains a lot and lacks empathy.

This year, instead of huge dinner gathering, I opt to work while spending time with my loved ones instead. I have a lunch appointment with my client in the morning at Paparich Citta Mall and decided to bring my boys with me.

image

I woke up early and meet up with one of my clients along with some blogger friends. My hubby ends up sitting with all of the bloggers’ kids who were present. There’s familiar faces like Shakiddo and Puan Bee today. :) And I met a new blogger friend too, Nora

image

Puan Bee brought along her newborn son, Shamim. :) He’s a darling, isn’t he?

image

And her lovely daughters. I may not know how it is like to have little girls in my home as I only have a son, but these girls are pure joy. :) For a moment, I knew how it is like to have daughters. Meeting and mingling with them, even for awhile eases my longing for a daughter a lil bit.

After the meeting, it’s lunchtime of course. Here’s what we had for lunch.

image

A lil something from the dimsum menu

image

Heavy lunch for me. A plate of Special Fried Rice with papadoms and fried egg nyonya acar, satay and fried chicken wings.

image

Hainan Chicken Rice. Hubby and my boy shared this.

image

Fried chicken wings to share with the little girls at the table, but gosh…they are so different from the boys and other kids I’ve met! They were painfully shy and it takes a lot of coaxing to ask them to have a bite! Made me wonder if the Malay children are brought up to be demure? These children are certainly pleasant and very polite. They are not annoyingly noisy or overly talkative. They are definitely not a nuisance who interrupts the adults in discussion too. It must be a product of good upbringing. It takes awhile for me to get used to them. :)

image

One for the album. :) After a memorable meeting, we part ways and I headed back home to chill our with my boys.

Not a bad start, eh? I kickstarted my new year with something productive. So…how was your first day of the year? How was it like?

Cleffairy: Nothing stays the same. All we can do is just adapt and move on. Happy new year everyone. Hopefully you’ll all be blessed with happiness, good health and abundance of wealth.

Cooking NZ foodstuff with Chef Jochen

Part of my mission apart from dragging kiddo along with me on media trips and whatnot is to instill culinary interest in him. You know, get him to love to be involved in making food instead of just interested in eating. As a parent to autism child, my vision for my child is different. I want him to be able to survive the world, not just survive the test papers in school. To survive the world, it is important for him to have as much exposure and hands-on experience as he can. Cooking is a part of the survival skill that I want him to take interest in and learn.

And so, when I was invited to a yet another cooking demo, I decided to drag him along. This time around, the demo revolves around New Zealand foodstuff.

Love is All Around with Gartien

What’s the most exciting thing you can do in bed besides making love? Well, if you ask me that question, my answer to you would be eating in bed. My husband and I were feeling rather naughty during our previous roadtrip. (Check my previous post on hotel in Bentong). We were exhausted and hungry, but don’t really feel like going out for a meal. Lying in bed and cuddling while watching Tv and eating tidbits is much more appealing than going out. There was no room service in the lodge that we stayed, so ordering meals from the room service is out of question.

 photo IMG_4572_zpsceb9ad45.jpg

We were in luck though, as instead of packing up cup noodles and junkfood as snacks in the room, I brought along Gartien’s Pineapple cakes instead during the trip. :D ‘Santa’ happened to drop by earlier before our trip to Bentong, and I thought, it’s the next best thing to chocolate to have in bed, and I was right! :D

 photo IMG_4562_zpse72060fc.jpg

There are ten pieces of pineapple cakes (actually it’s pineapple tarts, just bigger size).

 photo IMG_4565_zps3e49cc3e.jpg

Packed individually for your convenience.

 photo IMG_4566_zps7aa950e2.jpg

Each packs were beautifully wrapped with waxed-like wrapping and with beautiful, romantic artwork of Mu Dan flower on it. Perfect for the romantic at hearts, and definitely makes an auspicious gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year or wedding gifts.

 photo IMG_4576_zpse310d1af.jpg

The rectangle shaped pineapple cakes were heaven in the mouth.

 photo IMG_4578_zps7e4ded88.jpg

It tasted simply divine. The pastries are made fresh with natural ingredients and pure butter. It gives the cake milky and buttery taste yet the light and fluffy. The filling is made of 100% fresh pineapples picked directly from plantation in the village of Nibong Tebal. Love it to bits as it is not cloyingly sweet and you can have one after another as it’s positively addictive. Unlike other pineapple cakes and tarts, this one is special in the sense that while it is light and fluffy, it is not crumbly. And a special note about the filling, you can actually chew on the pineapple chunks. Again…I have to mention that while we had these in bed while cuddling, the crumbs did not mess up the bed. Great, huh? I bet like us,  newlyweds would appreciate these pineapple cakes on their honeymoon trips too. They’re not only great to replenish energy, but not messy to have in bed too :P

Each box of the freshly made pineapple cake is priced at RM45 per box. If you make your pre-order now before 31 December 2013, you can get a special promotion price at only RM38 per box. 500 sets have been booked, and left only about 1000 ‘Auspicious Gift Sets’ available for pre-order now, which means that only 250 sets are available weekly. The date for pre-order are as below.

Week 1: 30th Dec 2013 – 5th Jan 2014

Week 2: 6th Jan 2014 – 12th Jan 2014

Week 3: 13th Jan 2014 – 19th Jan 2014

Week 4: 20th Jan 2014 – 26th Jan 2014

In additional to that, every purchase of 10 boxes you can either opt for another box of pineapple cakes for FREE if you collect them yourself, or get your postage waived if you are residing within Peninsular Malaysia.

One World Lodge: Cheap Accomodation In Bentong

Third road trip for my loved ones and I this school holiday. :D This time  around, we had an impromptu visit to Bentong, a quiet, laidback town located in Pahang. It was not a planned trip, actually, and we were quite  unprepared where accommodation and meals is concerned, actually. But we survived nevertheless. :P

image

We arrived late at night. After midnight, actually. Not much things to do and hotels around town were pretty much a tourist trap for desperate travelers. Seeing us arriving late at night, the hotels around town practically try to slit our throat and try to persuade us to get the priciest room to stay. Except for One World Lodge.

image

Located in the heart of Bentong Town. Small coffee shops and eateries easily accessible from the small hotel. You can’t miss this place. It’s just in front of Pasar Besar Bentong.

image

The reception

image

Deco at the lobby

image

Sitting area at the lobby

image

It’s Christmassy here in One World Lodge. There’s a Christmas tree in the common area in front of our room.

image

Smokers would approve. *roll eyes* My husband was pleased so see that smoking area is provided for his smoking pleasure.

image

Our room. Was expecting something shoddy for rm66 per night.

image

But the room was surprisingly spacious and clean. Kiddo gets the bed to himself while husband and I shared the single bed. :P Not a problem for us. We’re rather petite in size and cuddling makes the night all the sweeter. :D

image

TV for entertainment purpose and free WiFi in the room for your convenience.

image

Kettle is provided for you to make tea or coffee.

image

The bathroom. Is clean and spacious.

image

Hot water shower is available, so no worries about having to bathe with cold water.

image

Toiletries is provided too. The hotel although is a budget range, is pretty much complete. Comfort for fraction of the price.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for accommodation in Bentong. For bookings and room reservation:

Kampung Days Experience at Banghuris Homestay, Sepang

Like I mentioned in my previous post, my family and I were given an opportunity to join Sahabat Media CC1M media trip under our respective blogs: http://garfield.in and http://blogging-circle.com

image

It was pretty much a last minute media trip, but who is complaining? I’m extremely happy that there is another short but memorable getaway for me and my loved ones this school holiday. :D

image

After attending the press conference in Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, us media were brought to Banghuris Homestay, Sepang. We were welcomed by a bunch of kompang players who played the traditional welcoming music with the kompangs.

image

There’s kenduri (Malay word for traditional feast)-like atmosphere

image

Fresh coconut juice beckons us.

image

The young coconuts were very refreshing. I took 4 of these to keep the heat at bay :)

image

Upon arrival, our host insist that we get sonething to eat first. Mee soup was served for late lunch/ tea. It was really yummy and not having eaten much earlier in Avani, I took two helpings of these, and so did my husband and son.

image

Fried Tempe; soya bean paste coated in light flour batter and deep deep fried. Good on it’s own or taken as a condiment with the mee soup. My boy loves this on it’s owb and dipped it with chillisauce as he enjoyed it.

image

A huge surprise to durian lovers. :) Our host made sure that we enjoy our kampung visit to the fullest by throwing us a durian feast.

image

Will you just take a look at thar? Fat, creamy durian kampung for us to enjoy. My husband is a huge fan of durian. Please don’t ask how many durians he has taken though. :P It’s not going to look very good in his diet record and the docs are probably winching at his calory intake. Yes. The durians are VERY GOOD!

image

Our blogger friend Emily posing with a piece durian before gobbling it up. Like my husband, she too helped herself to loads of durians. :)

image

My blogger friend and BFF Wendy with her durian

image

Sipping coconut juice is a must when you are eating durians. Wendy kept drinking em up, just like me.

image

After satisfying ourselves with the durians and awesome food that our generous host has prepares for us, we went and checked out the fishing pond. Yes. Fishing is part of the activities provided by the Banghuris Homestay.

image

Our media friend showing us how to fish like a pro by just using bamboo fishing rod.

image

The fishes that we got. Not bad huh?

image

After fishing for a lil bit, we walked around the homestay and spotted lime trees. Here’s my boy checking out the fruits.

image

The trees was abundant with fruits. We plucked some and popped em into our mouth…but it was so sour. Definitely tastes better as a localized lemonade/ iced lemon tea.

image

Walked further and ended up in a bamboo forrest. It is so beautiful. The place makes a fabulous photography and shooting spot.

image

Kiddo examining the bamboo trees and look for bamboo shoots so that we can pluck it and cook masak lemak cili api with it. :)

image

Finally managed to get some honeyed bamboo shoots. Kiddo was so happy to see this.

image

Took this pic as a memory

image

Group photo at the bamboo forrest

image

Next stop is the mock rubber plantation for the rubber tapping activities. Yup. Rubber tapping is another activity provided by Banghuris Homestay. A must try for you city folks. Coming here reminds me of my childhood days where I followed my maternal grandmother to her rubber plantation. Ah! Those were the good old days where fun means fooling around out in nature’s embrace. Kids these days are missing alot, I must say.

My boy was truly excited and fascinated with nature, and I can’t be more grateful for that. Not all children are comfortable with activities like this. I know some would wail and whine to death. So glad my boy doesn’t behave like a spoiled brat.

image

Here’s hubby and kiddo, hunting for rubber seeds to bring home as souvenirs.

image

The rubber tree

image

Us media get to try to do some rubber tapping. Here’s hubby doing some rubber tapping while kiddo continued hunting for rubber seeds in the background

image

Not too shabby. He managed to make the tree bleed.

image

Next stop is the rubber processing station

image

That’s kiddo, trying to process the rubber by using the machine.

image

Flattened rubber by kiddo.

image

All things rubbers, still raw and not fully processed.

I regret to report that the day ended too soon and it is time to go back home.

image

One for the album :) Because time limitation during this trip, we only managed to try a fraction of activities in Banghuris Homestay. If you feel that going rubber tapping and fishing is not your cuppa tea, there is plenty more activities in Banghuris Homestay that you can try. There’s batik painting, traditional games, communal cooking, learn to dance traditional dance, small industry factory visits and many more.

Right now Banghuris Homestay is offering RM250 for a 3days 2 night package that is inclusive of meals and planned activities. Great for kids during school holidays and for those who wants to experience a kampung life. I highly recommend a stay here. Expensive holidays can’t even compare to what my family and I experienced here in Banghuris Homestay. The experience is priceless.

Introducing Voluntourism in Conjunction of Visit Malaysia 2014

Have you heard of ‘voluntourism’? Well, yours truly is not exactly familiar with the term until one fine day, she was invited to join the media trip hosted by Sahabat Media CC1M in conjunction of Visit Malaysia 2014.

image

Joining the media trip brought me and my boys to Avani Sepang Gold Coast Resort.

image

Absolutely breathtaking place. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to stay there for a night or two.

image

The iterinary only includes a stop here for the launching of Voluntourism Program in conjunction of the Visit Malaysia 2014. So, what is exactly ‘voluntourism’? Well, literally, it is derived from the English word ‘Volunteer’ and ‘Tourism’ and as the word suggest, it is a combination of volunteering and tourism that enable tourists and travelers to volunteer for a good cause while sightseeing or traveling.

image

The goal of the program is to encourage a better tourism development in 2014 and allow people from all walks of life to be involved in Malaysian tourism. The program kicks off with 1Malaysia Green, 1Malaysia Clean where volunteers from all walks of life can help out with cleaning and beautifying initiative in Bagan Lalang Beach, Sepang.

Anyway, the Voluntourism Adoption Initiative Program includes:

1Malaysia Green, 1Malaysia Clean- involves volunteering in beautifying tourism spots and keeping them green and clean.

1Malaysia Voluntutoring- involves tutoring in language, hospitality and all sort of skills by volunteers in Homestays and tourism spots.

1Malaysia Volunsharing- one that almost everyone can participate. :) Through volunsharing, volunteers may share their traveling experience on various social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs, etc.

1Malaysia Event- involves volunteers participation in helping out with Malaysian tourism events.

Pre-Xmas Dinner Date in Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel

So, my parents were in town and I happened to have this invitation from Armada Hotel, PJ for their Christmas buffet. I don’t usually ditch my kid with my parents to babysit, but this time around I made an exception. Things is rather wacky on my side and I thought leaving my boy with my parents while my husband and I go for a pre-Xmas dinner date will do quite good for our sanity.

image

And so after dropping kiddo with the doting grandparents, we went off to Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel. Once arrived, this Nutcracker beckons us to sample Christmas delights cooked up by the chefs.

image

We’re in for quite a treat. Here’s the Christmas buffet spread by Utara Coffee House. Decent selection of Chrismassy food is offered to the diners.

image

Star of the night. Traditional Christmas Turkey with Walnut stuffing accompanied with Giblet Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, Mousseline potatoes, Glazed Honey Carrots, Brussels Sprouts and Louisiana Pumpkin Pie.

image

I don’t usually like turkeys. They are usually tough and chewy and I don’t have much patience to chew on em, but I have to give credit where it’s due. This one is perfectly done. The texture was great and the meat was tender and flavourful. The stuffing was fabulous. The skin was crispy and well-glazed. The turkey was perfectly paired with a side of mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. To be honest, I won’t mind a second or third of this.

image

Boston Oyster Leek soup. Thick and creamy. Lacks nothing and definitely something to die for during cold weather. It warmed my cold tummy in an instant.

 photo IMG_4184_zps5a790ca8.jpg

Appetizers was Glass Noodles with Prawns, Sushi and Sashimi and Wasabi Trimmings. No complaints whatsoever on this.

Xmas Rice

And then there was this…Christmas tomato rice filled with oceanic goodness. :D

 photo IMG_4171_zpsdc470b8a.jpg

For those who can’t live without Japanese food would be pleased to see these on the menu :)

 photo IMG_4166_zpsad4925c0.jpg

Sashimi and trimmings

image

Abit of a Chinese influence here in their offering.Steamed fish in soya sauce, mini yam basket and Chrismas fried rice served in tomato basket. Not a fan of steamed fish. But I suppose it was all right. No muddy taste. The yam basket and the fried rice was all right too.

image

Fresh oyster with lemon wedges from the buffet. Not a fan. But my husband is crazy about oysters, so he slurped a few of these aphrodisiacs.

image

Savoury Louisiana Pumpkin Pie. Love it! Packed with delightful filling.

 photo IMG_4176_zps6c9752a5.jpg

I almost couldn’t fill in my tummy anymore, but desserts was irresistible.

 photo IMG_4168_zps1ffc9aa1.jpg

They have this beautiful Christmas pudding, and it is a must have for all those with sweet tooth.

image

More yummy desserts. Let it be known that the folks in Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel won’t let you leave til you’re sweetly stuffed up. :P

 photo IMG_20131206_205318_1_zps2c81d53b.jpg

Desserts that we get to try. The slice of Christmas Strawberry shortcake and Spiced Nuts and Cherry was okay, but the Macaroon was exceptionally lovely. The Black Forrest Mousse on the other hand was sensational.

image

The meal should have ended with desserts, but my man couldn’t resist ice cream, so we shared this before we ended our dinner date.

image

There’s plenty of Christmas goodies in Utara Coffee House. This Gingerbread house is more than enough to tempt Hansel and Gretel wannabes to munch on em. :P Thank God my little boy was not there, or I can’t guarantee we’ll leave the place with this still standing.

 photo IMG_4172_zps6afa0651.jpg

And should you feel like playing a bit of Little Red Riding Hood this Christmas but not really into baking, just customize a goodie basket filled with Christmas cookies and you’re good to go. :)

Overall, the Christmas dining experience in Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel surpassed my expectations. It was really a gastronomic pleasure and price wise? It’s not exactly too harsh on the pocket too.

Here’s the price for your reference should you be interested in making reservation this Christmas:

Experiencing Chefmanship Academy with Kiddo

So, what do I do with my son during the painfully long school holiday? My pocket is not exactly fit for expensive holidays, but I don’t feel like keeping the boy at home, moaning and groaning out of boredom.

image

So I let him tag along with me to Chefmanship Academy media briefing. The boy is used to be horrified and agitated during press conference and stuff, but I guess all these exposure is doing him good. Unlike the previous years, he is much calmer and despite of the confined space, he did not have a meltdown. Sure, after a short while he feel hard to concentrate and gets bored, but that is nothing really serious in comparison of a full blown sensory overload meltdown. To be honest, I’m quite glad with his changes. Not all autistic children could tolerate this, even with routine practice. So I guess…I’m on the right track after all, regardless of people’s opinion.

Neway, let’s get back to Chefmanship Academy.Chefmanship Academy (CA) is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Malaysia by a food service provider which covers over 100 topics, combining real world insights with industry research to offer hands-on learning experiences. The Chefmanship Academy (CA) programme has scaled new heights in Malaysia despite just being launched about four months ago with a solid kickoff after Unilever Food Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of the country’s leading municipal authorities, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

With the current issues of food poisoning, diarrhoea and even leptospirosis (rat urine contamination) resulting in lives being lost, CA cares about Malaysian consumers. From an initial 400 food operators that were first engaged last July, UFS Malaysia has reached out and touched a further 800 who packed the MBSA auditorium in November to find out how they can do things differently and positively with CA. The 1,200 food operators are just starters as UFS Malaysia ramps up its interaction to collaborate closely with key Government authorities and to uphold the well being of operators while focusing on hygiene for all food operators nationwide.

The word is spreading and a further CA in December is expected to involve a further 1,000 food operators in the thriving city of Shah Alam. The activities will continue even further next year when MBSA will hold more CA sessions especially before major festivities. They also benefited from seeing first hand for themselves, demonstrations and even hand-on experience in applying Knorr products into dishes.

Today, “eating out” trend has been increasingly popular among Malaysians with the increase of their busy lifestyle. Therefore, food hygiene is vital and now it is the responsibility of the food service industry as a whole to work together to raise this awareness on the prominence of food hygiene. Convenience or profit must not be allowed to compromise on this hygiene as UFS Malaysia’s mission is to give back to the community and this reflects Unilever’s global Sustainable Living Plan through which we want to improve health, well-being and hygiene habits in Malaysia.

image

After the media briefing on Chefmanship Academi and introductions to key Unilever products, we’re given a kitchen tour. Just look at the kitchen! Would love to have one like this at home. It would be a dream come true!

image

Managed to get a glimpse of the Chef in action during the kitchen tour.

image

Another Chef caught me playing paparazzi in the kitchen, so he decided to play model a lil bit for me. :P I see someone have potential to be a Masterchef contestant here.

image

Spotted food being prepared for lunch.

image

After the tour, it’s time for cooking demo session. Here’s Chef Mohd Hadzrin, briefing us on how to make bergedil/fried potato balls before he let us loose on the kitchen to make our own.

image

Ingredients that is usually needed for bergedil if you’re to prepare em from scratch; boiled potatoes.

image

But why would you want to prepare from scratch if you could use a shortcut? I’m all for shortcuts. Here’s introducing Knorr Instant Mashed Potato Flakes. Guaranteed to make your life easier of you wanna make bergedils.

image

Time for action. Ingredients needed to make bergedil: Two eggs, mashed potato powder, minced chicken, fried shallots, Cukup Rasa Powder, chopped chives and some hot water.

image

My boy, getting ready for action.

image

The boy dumping it all in. Easy right? It’s actually an idiot-proof recipe. Even my boy can do it on his own.

image

Shaping the bergedil into balls.

image

Bergedil, ready for frying

image

Deep-frying the bergedil

End product by my boy. Looks good eh? It was yummy too. So proud of him. :) All these products are so easy and convenient to use that even my autistic son could effortlessly make a meal out of em.

image

Food prepared by chefs and media alike. A plate of my son’s bergedil made it to the table for the food tasting session. The boy was so proud and happy about it.

image

There are plenty of food prepared by the Chef by using assorted Knorr products. Otak-otak is one of them.

Salted egg fried chicken. Trust me. There was no actual salted eggs were involved in this. I was told that mashed potato flakes were used instead to imitate the taste of salted eggs. Hah! Could have fooled me if I was not told. It tasted exactly like the real deal!

Minced Chicken bergedil by chef. But having cooked his own bergedils, my boy prefer to eat his own. :)

Durian balls. Not a fan, but my boy had two of these. So I guess it was pretty good that it earned my son’s approval.

So, who says you can’t have quality time with your kids while working? Lol. I kinda love being a freelance. It certainly gives me the flexibility to have quality time with my boy while being at work. :)

Cleffairy: Special thanks to Ms. Angeline Mah for all the encouraging and supportive words. You know what I’m talking about. :D   I really appreciate it. Darn, nearly made me cry in public. :)

Eat Play Love: Simple Dinner

It was nearly noon when we arrived back in KL after our trip to Genting. Exhausted, we hit the sack and dozed off. By the time we woke up, it was way pass dinner time. And not feeling like slaving in the kitchen, we decided to have dinner at our regular restaurant.

image

Kangkung belacan. As usual, this one’s pretty good. The kangkung was very fresh and savoury.

image

Japanese egg tofu with minced chicken meat. Asked for extra gravy to drown our rice with. Nice too, the gravy is not overly starchy.

image

And last but not least, Fried Yee Mee for kiddo. The bill came up to RM30++. Oh my God, what? That’s average RM10 per dish. Tsk tsk tsk. I guess inflation hits this restaurant too.

Fun Time with Family at Matic Fest 2013

Having discovered from my blogger friend Rebecca that there is a fair in Matic over the weekend, I decided to check it out since I got nothing better to do at home. :)

image

Beautiful Saturday morning. At about 10am, the tents are already up and activities are already ongoing.

image

When I arrived with my husband and son, colouring competition has already commenced.

image

There’s singing competition too. Some contestants are good, but some are terribly off-key, earning boos and laughter from the audiences.

image

Wanna win some easy cash? Well then, go nuts guessing how many peanuts there is in here. Participation is only RM1. :)

image

Batik colouring competition. Both for adults and children alike.

image

Beautiful batiks artworks by contestants.

image

What’s a funfair withour clowns? Here’s a really tall one at Matic, entertaining kids and giving away balloon sculptures.

image

There’s also extreme sports activities during the Matic Festival 2013. Paintball competition is open for those who are up for some shooting. Here’s the painballers taking a rest in the tent.

image

Paintball mask. Nearly mistook it for Darth Vader’s mask.

image

Paintball guns used in the field.

image

And then there’s this.Tamiya 4×4 racing competition.

image

Tamiya 4×4 racing cars. Reminds me of the early 90s where the thing is an absolute craze.

image

Cat lovers club was there too.

image

This lil fella greeted us with a Meow.

image

Exotic cat breed for sale

image

Cats for adoption. Would love to adopt one, but my house can’t accommodate anymore. I already have 7 at home.

image

Cat food on sale. Was contemplating to grab some for my furkids.

image

Pet accessories are sold too, but rather pricey to me.

image

Toys and shampoos for pets.

image

And then there’s this. Information on how pet lovers can apply for pet’s passport for their beloved pets, in case they need to travel abroad with their pets.

image

The sun was high in the sky and all of us were hungry. So we checked out the foodstalls over there. Bought Laksa Sarawak for RM5 from one of the participating stalls, but it was terribly disappointing and bland.

image

But the satay was yummylicious. I didn’t had enough.
