| This was an intense book. The author really brought the characters to life. That’s not exactly to say I enjoyed it. It’s a sad story, and all of the characters were jerks to one degree or another. Well written though. | |

| The premise of this book was intriguing but none of the characters really felt like people to me. I was mildly glad it all worked out, but mostly I just didn’t care that much. | |
“One of the fastest ways to be genuinely happier is to develop a gratitude habit. Each night before going to sleep, list five things you’re grateful for that day. If you’re feeling really low and things are going terribly, sometimes it can be hard to think of five things, but do it anyway.
