Stephen King
“If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
Stephen King

“There are those who don't understand the nobility of horror fiction. 'Isn't there enough horror in the world?' they ask. For all other forms of literature, the value of human life is optional. For horror fiction, it's absolutely necessary. If we don't value the life of the threatened protagonist, we can't be scared. And through our fear, we better understand the individual fears and values of our species across the world.”
E.C. McMullen Jr.

“All great literature is one of two stories; a man goes on a journey or a stranger comes to town.”

David North-Martino Hi Diane!

Thanks for thinking of me. I'm glad you reached out. I've been fortunate to attend Necon a few time. It's a great convention, and I go whenever I can. I believe I met your brother at Necon, but didn't have the pleasure of knowing him personally. I do know he was much beloved within the community. I haven't had the chance to read his novels, yet. Although, I will remedy that shorty. Kindle and other e-book formats have given so many great works new life. Best wishes with your books as well.

Diane Manning I see you are from Massachusetts and wonder if you are familiar with Necon. My brother, Les Daniels, wrote the Don Sebastian series (The Black Castle, etc). If you are not familiar with it, you might enjoy it. Les' writing is very different from mine, but I am managing his estate, so am having a chance to get to know some of his fantastic supporters.
Best wishes for your own books.
