Chip Huyen is a writer and computer scientist based in Silicon Valley. She works to bring the best engineering practices to machine learning research and production. Her experiences include Netflix, NVIDIA, Primer. Previously, she created and taught the Stanford course TensorFlow for Deep Learning Research. She’s currently with a startup that focuses on the machine learning production pipeline.

After high school, she went to Brunei for a 3-day vacation which turned into a 3-year trip through Asia, Africa, and South America. She's also the author of four bestselling Vietnamese books: “Xách ba lô lên và Đi” series, “Giấc mơ Mỹ – Đường
đến Stanford”, and "Tuổi trẻ không hối tiếc".
