Damon Suede grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. He has lived all over and along the way, he’s earned his crust as a model, a messenger, a promoter, a programmer, a sculptor, a singer, a stripper, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a techie, a teacher, a director... but writing has ever been his bread and butter. He has been happily partnered for over a decade with the most loving, handsome, shrewd, hilarious, noble man to walk this planet.

Though new to gay romance, Damon is an award-winning author who has been writing for print, stage, and screen for two decades, which is both more and less glamorous than you might imagine. He's won some awards, but he counts his blessings more often: his

So sorry for the delay replying. I just saw this question. There is no hard ETA on Hard Head at the moment, but the manuscript (All 300k ridiculously overwritten words of it) is sitting on my computer and I keep chiseling away at it. The process of writing the Hot Head sequel ended up being pretty intense, for many reasons.

That said, with a manuscript that ginormous, I will definitely have extra chapters and bonus scenes aplenty. But...it IS coming and the only reason it's taken this long is because I love those characters too much to half-ass them. LOL And I'll be posting updates on it as I start drilling down in earnest.

Thank you!

Hard Head (aka Head #2) is going to be Tommy's story, but Griff and Dante are very much secondary characters within the book because of their connections to him.

So much of Tommy's story is bound up in the Red Hook community they all share... It won't be a Griff & Dante book, but they are major characters in Tommy's book as his friends and coworkers. (less)

Persuasion by Jane Austen
“I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant. You alone have brought me to Bath. For you alone, I think and plan. Have you not seen this? Can you fail to have understood my wishes? I had not waited even these ten days, could I have read your feelings, as I think you must have penetrated mine. I can hardly write. I am every instant hearing something which overpowers me. You sink your voice, but I can distinguish the tones of that voice when they would be lost on others. Too good, too excellent creature! You do u ...more Jane Austen

Rob Rosen Damon, hi. Hope all is well. Since we’re Goodreads friends, I thought I’d share my latest novel, Midlife Crisis, with you.

"Rob Rosen does madcap gay humor better than anyone else writing today. Midlife Crisis is no exception." - Neil Plakcy, author of The Mahu Investigations

I hope you can pick up a copy. As a special thanks for your time, feel free to message me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/therobrosen) for a free PDF copy of any of my other 9 novels, which you can find here: http://www.therobrosen.com

All the best,

Zany Rin Damon wrote: "Thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm literally finishing the sequel Hard Head (which is Tommy's story) right now. More definitely on the way... :)"

OH WoW ... your response so made my night!

As for my kind words they were well deserved and you are very welcomed. Is it lame to say that I cried during certain scenes in your book? If people think so, I don't care because that just proves how awesome a writer you are and how attached I became with your characters. So knowing there is more coming makes me tickled pink all over (channeling my inner Griff).

Anywho, I am getting wordy (I tend to ramble on when I'm nervous or obsessing over something fantabulous)so to wrap this up I have one question for you ... do you have an idea for the release date of Hard Head? Waiting for books that I'm dying to read always makes me batshit crazy.

Like I mentioned looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans in August. Okay I lied I have a second question ... will you be able to sign my copy of Hot Head while you are there?

message 66: by Lauren

Lauren Hey Damon, thanks for accepting the friend invite! xx

Fangtasia Damon, did you see Hot Head came in at third place in the 2011 Goodreads Readers Choice Awards, Romance category?

Ahead of Julia Quinn, Nora Roberts, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Gena Showalter...

And the book that won 2nd place is apparently a Twilight fanfic with characters replaced.

So, for all intents and purposes, your debut book came in 2nd. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

WOOHOO!!! *doing Snoopy happy dance for the next couple hours*
