Go for a walk; do some gardening. Or tackle it head on by doing some freefall writing, i.e., sit in front of your computer and just write whatever comes into your head. Or start from one word such as "anger" and keep writing for 15 minutes. Do not stop to think or correct typos or word choice. This will help unlock your writer's block.(less)

Behind writing a memoir

Writing a memoir involves a lot more than just telling your story. You have to be truthful and information-correctas this is not fiction. And in today’s political correctness world (and a few other things going on ), it involves so much more. I should have at least some idea of this as it took me 18 years to finish The Enemies Within Us – a Memoir. Hey, I was also writing other stuff then, too

Fire Underneath the Ice (Mystery & Thrillers)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:30PM
Description: This novella was co-authored by Rene Natan and me - Sharon A. Crawford under the pen name R.S. Natanevin. Published by Rogue Phoenix Press and is available at http://www.amazon.com The paths of Michael Hamming, poor boy turned rich, and Karyn McDonnell, heiress turned penniless, cross during the 2008 financial crisis. Michael decides to get revenge for that old grudge he has against Karyn’s late father. Karyn is in need, alone and defenseless. In total coolness, he offers to take care of her financial problems if she becomes his girlfriend. Karyn, who always liked Michael, accepts. Karyn’s beauty and kind heart, however, conquer him, to the point that when Karyn is kidnapped, Michael takes chase, first aboard a speedboat, then riding a motorcycle to follow the clues left by the kidnappers and set her free. As the events of October 2008 plunge the stock market into a record minimum, it is now Michael who gets in financial troubles and Karyn who goes to his rescue, trying to hide her good deed.

Ben Hi Sharon,
I knew from Shane Joseph that your book will be launched on Nov 4. Sorry that day is taken up for me.
Yes, I am busy writing and editing and giving writing workshops to WEN members. My new book of bilingual short stories (English and Konkani) has come out in Goa, India. After my illness four years ago, I don't drive or go out at night, so no longer with CAA.
Best wishes and much success to you.
