Waiting Sucks

The Good News: The wait for True Blood season 4 is officially over!

The Bad News: I don't have HBO.

What I do have is a shiny new copy of season 3 on Bluray. It will just have to get me through.

I Love New York

It's hard to believe something as basic as equal human rights is still a debated topic in 2011. That said, it's good to celebrate the triumphs.

Congratulations New York on becoming the sixth and most populous state to permit gay marriage! Here's hoping the remaining 44 soon follow suit.

Alan Rickman is The Man

I adore Alan Rickman. He's played some of my favorite characters, and he really outdid himself with Severus Snape.

Now that the Harry Potter movie franchise is almost at its end, Alan Rickman has written an open letter to JK Rowling. After reading it, I think I adore him even more.

Happy Easter

I was well into adulthood before I figured out what Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies had to do with the Resurrection (ie - nothing), but I still enjoy decorating eggs. I can't believe I didn't have this idea long, long ago:

ZOMBIE EASTER EGGS

All photos are curteousy of ZOMBIE! To see more zombie Easter Eggs, click here.

I look forward to making monster themed Easter baskets in the future. I wonder if Easter egg vampires turn to dust in the light? Are Easter eggs ghosts just undecorated eggs? Q...

Someday, I'll have disturbed children

The Zombie Pet Shoppe playset from Neatoshop.com.
Yes, I think there are awesome. And yes, someday I'll be the proud parent of those kids the others parents tell their children to avoid.

Watch For Falling Rocks

Ever have one of those days? How about one of those weeks? One of those months?

I may be having one on those decades.

No, things are not yet that dire. Occasionally, I bite off more than I can chew. Add to this my obsessive-compulsive need for perfection. Know what you get? A grumpy yet accomplished woman in need of sleep. That's where I am at the moment.

And there's still one day left in the work week.

Sigh.

I'm looking forward to the weekend, which brings with it a J.R. Ward booksigning (yay!) a...
