Sam lives at the bottom of the world, and spends a lot of his time travelling the universe. From his writing room, of course.

He's sold short fiction to places like Electric Velocipede and Big Pulp, and is always working on a novel or two. He even finishes novels occasionally, when he's not distracted by shiny things and unusually shaped pebbles.

He also edits and publishes a semi-pro paying zine called Comets and Criminals. C&C specializes in genre fiction across the Historical, SF, Western, Crime & Mystery, and Adventure genres and particularly loves stories that cross and mash genre boundaries.

The Silver Locomotive Mystery, by Edward Marston. Historical mystery.


Thoughts: Okay. Not great, but not bad. Enjoyed the primary setting (1855 Wales), struggled a bit with the style. 2.5 out of 5
