SYNCHRONICITIES
The phone rang today moments after I thought of my friend Carol. It was Carol. I looked up at my retro glass pieces over my kitchen window on their shelf while talking on the phone and thought, “I need to be sure they’re back from the edge far enough,” even though one has never fallen in five years. The next day one crashed to the floor shattering across my tile. I happen to look at the clock when there is a combination of 0’s, 1’s and 2’s (11:21, 1:02, 2:12, 1:11 etc.).
Synchronicities are a part of my daily life. Are they in your life too? I ask Universe for these experiences and I thank my Spirit Guides for them each and every time.
I have incorporated this way of life into my ETR trilogy, into Francie, my protagonist’s life. If you ask Universe and Spirit to speak to you, don’t forget to watch, listen and then thank them for the results. Who do I think our Spirit Guides are? My answer to that and so much more is baked into Francie and my ETR trilogy.

STRANGELY NORMAL
Who doesn’t love the old Twilight Zone episodes where everything starts out looking ordinary, but subtle and curious signs begin to blend into the landscape that cannot be denied by only a main character or two. The man in the suit with the skinny tie knows something is off. His lady friend in the light-colored dress suddently clings to his arm when she sees beings that escape her direct focus. Yet everyone around them is acting perfectly normal. In my ETR trilogy you will embark on an unusual yet everydayish (is that a word?) adventure into Francie’s world which becomes more and more perplexed by extraordinarily strange sightings that will keep you guessing the deeper down the rabbit hole you go.

IS REMOTE VIEWING REAL?
What is remote viewing (RV)? According to Definitions.net, remote viewing is the practice of seeking impressions about a distant or unseen target using subjective means, in particular, extra-sensory perception or "sensing with mind". Typically a remote viewer is expected to give information about an object, event, person or location that is hidden from physical view and separated at some distance.
Is RV real? I believe there is a lot more to this world than meets the eye and the extraordinary power of the brain is still untapped. For my Extraterrestrial Reptilian (ETR) series, I wanted my protagonist Francie Moreau to be a remote viewer and that meant doing my research.
After reading books on the topic and studying online, I learned that not only is remote viewing real, but I actually learned to do it! I studied, learned and practiced the skill and was blown away at how accurately I was able to remote view. This experience gave me the ability to write about Francie’s profession with confidence and accuracy.
Maybe you have an interest in remote viewing. In my ETR series, RV is demonstrated in the life of my main character. If you’re even just a little interested in the subject, my ETR trilogy won’t disappoint!

MY MOST IMPORTANT WRITING TOOL
We were at a dinner recently and someone asked me what tool I use most when I write. Other than my auto spellchecker, the tools I use most are my imagination and my thesaurus!
Redundancy is always lurking, staring down at me, daring me to challenge its ancient and sinister power. Using the same word three times in one sentence sneers at me from my periphery. Falling down the tunnel of love, where a double entendre might be more appropriate to communicate a thrilling sensation. These happen a lot when writing 65,000 words. There have been countless times that the deep pool of amazing treasures in my thesaurus have unblocked me. I love to draw just the right meaning, nuance, or conclusion in a sentence, but sometimes I can’t hit it just right. I reign victorious at every challenge with my handy thesaurus by finding the perfect and necessary words.
So the next time you know what you want to say, but can’t come up with just the right way to say it, throw on your goggles, dive into your thesaurus, and admire the vast array of shiny descriptive words in the English language until you spot just the right fit. It hasn’t let me down yet!

WE ARE ANNORA: A True Story of Surviving Multiple Personality Disorder
WHAT ABOUT MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER?
Mulitple Personality Disorder is now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This technical term is not as well-known to the general public so I used the old term in my book title. DID is one of the brain’s many survival mechanisms and protects a person from mental anhialation due mainly to a trauma or a series of traumas at a tender, young age.
I’ve corresponded with and read the accounts of many multiples around the world. There is always one common denominator: survival. I survived severe trauma and abuse that began at a very young age. I still have amnesia for most of my childhood and even today I can’t piece my timeline together from decade to decade.
My book WE ARE ANNORA: A True Story of Surviving Multiple Personality Disorder is my story about DID that resulted from abuse. If it’s a topic you’re interested in, the book will take you down the rabbit hole and into a world of mirrors that present chaos vs. utter clarity, fear vs. joy, trust vs. betrayal, love and loss. Give it a read. You can download the eBook for $6.49 at Amazon. I think you’ll gain a better understanding of the disorder. We Are Annora A True Story of Surviving Multiple Personality Disorder

THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL REPTILIAN TRILOGY (The ETR’s)
Two Arcs, Three Books + One
There are many trilogy styles and none are more correct than the others, and some people often do have a preference. You have stand-alone books in a series (Nancy Drew for example) and then you have continuing story arcs which span over all three books. The ETR’s Trilogy is the latter.
The Escape, book one, is arc one. It’s not just character development. It also contains my protagonist’s important history which lays the foundation for books two and three, but not without conflict and courage all its own.
The Threat, book two of The ETR’s, begins the larger of the two story arcs and savors the thematic strength and guts of the series
The Awakening, book three, is the overall culmination of events of the entire trilogy in what I like to call “the war” of any great story. As it should be! The Awakening completes the second and larger arc in the trilogy.
What I have found enjoyable and memorable while writing this trilogy is the smaller sub plots where Francie Moreau explores the extent of her strengths and the limitations of her weaknesses, then journeys accordingly and sometimes without the choice to turn back. Also, like the band, the story played on!
Q: What is the “+ One” in the heading of this blog post?
A: The “+ One” is the Prologue of the trilogy; a prequel.
The prequel of my ETR trilogy is a short story that takes you back to Francie Moreau’s high school years eight years prior to The Escape, book one. It is a short story from my book Worthless and Other Teens Coping in a Crazy World. In chapter one of The Escape, Francie is grown up and out of college. Don’t miss it!
We have a prequel. Will there be a sequel? I’m seriously considering it. But, like the prequel, I will likely go stand-alone. Now we have the best of both trilogy style worlds!
Thank you for considering reading or having read my ETR trilogy. It was a joy to write and even I miss my characters who became like friends.
The ETR’s; Relatable. Compelling. Intelligent. Daring.

WORTHLESS And Other Teens Coping in a Crazy World: 24 Short Stories
As a writer, I aim my books both fiction and nonfiction at raising dialogue and awareness of many abuses and harms directed at people, especially children and teens. I do this lightly and with interesting stories behind issues of abuse. My (ages 17+) Sci-Fi trilogy is loosely based on the horrors of child trafficking but I wrote Worthless and Other Teens Coping in a Crazy World: 24 Short Stories for teenagers directly. My desire is to convey the common but powerful tragedies that strike at the tender hearts of tweens and teens which can rapidly grow out of control and drive these young people to suicide, drugs or promiscuity. If you have young people who are vulnerable to peer pressure, perverts (especially in authority over them), bullying or harmful temptations, then Worthless is written for yor kids.
They will find stories of other teenagers who face embarrassing, dangerous or threatening situations and courageous characters who demonstrate thoughtful and heart-felt solutions to these common but powerful struggles. Topics covered are ones such as…
1. Loss of first love
2. Mental illness of a loved one
3. Bullying
4. Attempted kidnapping
5. Accidental death
6. Dabbling in witchcraft
7. Poverty leading to crime for survival's sake
8. Racism
9. Toxic Friendships
10. Unwanted sexual advances and how to find your voice
These are just some of the short story topics in Worthless and Other Teens Coping in a Crazy World: 24 Short Stories. I’ve had so much positive feedback by teens I’m considering writing a second round of these stories.
I know people don’t write reviews much so if you’ve read any of my books, please leave a review at GoodReads and also Barnes and Noble, Amazon or wherever you purchased your book.
BONUS 1: Some of these stories are my own! Let me know if you’re interested in knowing which ones.
BONUS 2: My Extraterrestrial Reptilian Trilogy is based on short story #4 in Worthess titled Francie and the Secret. Francie is now eight years older. She made it through her tragedy!
I, like other authors, work very hard and reviews help me sell books, help other potential readers to know what a book is like, and also help me know what readers love about my writing. Thanks!

Synchronicities
Have you ever had a vehicle you wanted to buy? You might have gone to test drive one or watched a ton of videos of that particular make and model. Then, it seems everywhere you look, you suddenly see that car or truck or SUV. This is what’s happening with my trilogy. It seems more and more news stories and tweets are mentioning very specific and uncommon (even rare) things that I wrote about. These are the curiosities that fascinate in this life. No spoilers but maybe you know what I mean.
