Julia has the chance to become one of the vampires of the Blue Moon House. Before being accepted, however, she must prove herself to each of the vampires, and each has their own exacting cost. Ranging from lesbian, to being forced, to physical torture, she is pushed to her breaking point time and again. Eventually her perseverance pays off and she crosses from submissive to dominant and vampire.

Excerpt from Blue Moon House
Jocelyn broke the silence first, clapping her hands. “Oooh, come see.” She seized Julia’s wrist and pulled her down the hall that led to the stairs. Julia knew there was another floor to the large house, but had never been there.
“This is our room,” Jocelyn explained as she unlocked the door.
Julia’s eyes widened. The center of the room was filled with a massive bed. It couldn’t be a single mattress; it must have been several held together by the bedding. As Julia approached, mouth agape, she saw the sheet went all the way around, fitted to this special piece.
“You…”
“How else can you fit seven on a bed?” Lynn asked, starting to pull off her clothes. Julia turned to see the men doing the same.
Jocelyn bounced on the mattress once before rushing up and kissing Julia. Then she pulled the human back to the bed with her. “Come, at least try it out. I know we can’t really enjoy anything tonight,” she muttered something very quickly under her breath, andJulia thought she heard ‘raping men.’ “But you can relax for a while.”
Julia highly doubted she could as she watched Harry pull Lynn atop himself, nibbling on her neck. Her throat tightened a little. “Another test?” she whispered to Jocelyn.
“Oh?” she turned to look. “I suppose. That wasn’t the intention.” Just then Nicholas came behind Julia and ran his tongue up her neck.
“A tiny taste?” he asked, turning her legs to jelly.
“Oh, no, you don’t,” Harry called from the bed. “You have to share and she doesn’t have enough for all of us.”
Julia’s heart fluttered and she wished that she did. She wished she could stay the night.Couldn’t she? They could move her to her bed downstairs when she fell asleep. “Will someone wake me at five so I have time to change?” She began reaching behind her to undo her dress, but Nicholas was already there, growling against her skin as he revealed it, kissing his way down her back. “I’m sure I can have some fun.”

Inside the Author’s Mind – Lisette Brodey
Lisette Brodey is a lovely woman and a supportive author. She’s penned several books and I’m happy to learn more about her. You will too.
Please give a warm welcome to Lisette and watch the excellent trailer for her book Molly Hacker Is Too Picky!
* * * *
Who is Molly Hacker?
At thirty-two, newspaper reporter Molly Hacker vows to never attend another wedding until she has had her own. And that’s a problem because Molly’s younger sister, Hannah, is going to be married in one year. Armed with snark, wit, and fabulous good looks, “Picky Molly” embarks on a quest to find Mr. Right in her hometown. Things get complicated fast. In no time at all, Molly has four “men of interest” and the memories of a lost love to send her overanalytic, befuddled mind into serious overdrive. Determined not to let her “helpful” girlfriends help her right out of another relationship, Molly tries to keep mum on the state of her love life. Her BFF male coworker, Randy, becomes her closest confidant as he stumbles over romantic issues with his new Mr. Right, Kyle. Meanwhile, Molly’s gal pals aren’t too happy about being left out of the loop. Tweaking Molly’s last nerve is the town’s most visible socialite, Naomi Hall-Benchley, who, for self-serving reasons, is hell-bent on setting up “Picky Molly Hacker” and she doesn’t care who she has to manipulate or hurt to do it. Just how far will she go? Molly Hacker Is Too Picky!” takes the reader on a yearlong romp through Molly’s mind and a joyride through her life. Her dating life, town secrets, a group of quirky, crazy characters, and Naomi’s machinations collide head-on at a holiday gala that will change the social landscape of Swansea forever. As the New Year rolls in, Molly gets earth-shattering news. Can she go on? Will life ever return to abnormal again?

Inside Lisette Brodey’s Mind
What is your idea of perfect happiness? To be able to leave my worries by the wayside and spend time with people who are extraordinarily special to me.
What turns you on creatively? Stumbling on an idea and then being able to execute it with ease. I love the times when I can get into “the zone” and write for hours without feeling as though any time has passed. Nirvana.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? I probably use words like “the,” “and,” and “a” quite often. Oh, and some four-letter words, too.
What quality do you most admire in a man/woman? When I think about the qualities I most admire in other people, I don’t necessarily separate them by gender. Here are some: integrity, a sense of humor, honesty, reliability, compassion for others, a love for animals, an open mind, and intelligence. Oh, and I like people who don’t litter.
What is your greatest regret? There are many things I wish I had done and even more I wish I had not done. Interestingly, most of these are in my distant past. For years, I thought about them, often beating myself up for allowing them to have happened or not happened. But I know that the tiniest things in life change our path. I know that the events of yesterday are the realities of today and the seeds that grow in our tomorrows.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would love a metabolism that worked at a greater speed!
What is your greatest fear? Losing the people I love.
Which living person do you most admire? There is no one person I most admire. I have infinite respect for people who work hard, people who help others, and people who make a difference.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Acting. I studied drama in college. I currently work as a background actor, study acting for the screen, and am a member of SAG-AFTRA.
If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? Perhaps as a new and improved version of myself. Or a cat. =^..^=
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Still working on that!
What is the trait you most deplore in others? Narcissism.
What is your greatest extravagance? Can I answer this question after my ship comes in? For now: down pillows and sheets with high-thread counts.
What is one thing you want to do before you die? Achieve what has eluded me thus far.
What is your favorite music (genre/artist/album/song)? My favorite singer of all time is Marvin Gaye. That’s the easiest question of all to answer. But I do have quite an eclectic taste in music. R&B is my favorite, but I listen to pop, show, rock, jazz, and some classical.
What are some of your favorite curse words? If you were at my place when the smoke alarm (situated way too close to the bathroom) goes off when I take a shower, you would know. They’re pretty darn bad. I’m on a first-name basis with most curse words. In fact, we often have tea and crumpets together. I’ll just leave it at that.
What is your motto? Every day, plant as many miracle seeds as you can. You never know what might grow.
Lisette, it’s been wonderful to learn more about you as a person and an author.
Readers, I encourage you to connect to Lisette and find out more about her books.

Chatting with Casey Ryan of @CuttingRoomMRB ~ Part 2
I had the great pleasure of meeting Casey over a year ago and was interviewed by him July 2011. Time flies!
Tomorrow, August 26th, I’ll be on his show THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR, once again, at 12 PM EST.
Casey is someone I’ve grown very fond of. He has wonderful guests on his show—filmmakers, artists, authors and is a terrific and generous promoter of indies.
In recent months, he also started his blog. His writing is stellar, which only makes me more proud to have him review my latest book, Spring into Summer.
It was great to meet Casey when he attended my book signing, and I’d encourage anyone who wants exposure for their projects—big or small to connect to him.
You’d be hard pressed to find a stronger advocate for the indie community.
Connect to Casey via his blog, on Twitter @cuttingroommrb, and on his podcast.
I look forward to speaking with Casey again, and I hope you’ll join us,
eden

Inside the Author’s Mind – Eri Nelson
A lovely woman, a supportive author, and a wonderful writer—I’m thrilled to showcase Eri Nelson on Inside the Author’s Mind. She’s written numerous books and has two great book trailers I’ve added below.
Please give a warm welcome to Eri Nelson.
* * * *
Dearhart Clan Series
Dearhart Clan is a series of fast-paced adult books that dabble in the world of paranormal and remain in the erotic pulse of what can only be classified as a primal fantasy. If it is a typical romance you are looking for you will not find it in this series.
Destiny Repeats Twice
Isabella (Izzy) Tulley and Aiden Black Series are a collection of adult books that take dark desires on a modern day mythology ride.
* * * *
About Eri and her writing
In Dearhart Clan Series, Eri Nelson writes in a darker world where heat and need are the forefront for a slipping existence. There is not time for all the tenderness love deserves but if you are imprinted to another, you are far beyond those mortal requirements.
Our author is driven by swift action packed intrigues that often leave you wanting more. As she writes, each new book into the series the number of pages might increase but the action never lets you feel the increasing distance to the final page.
In Destiny Repeats Twice, Eri Nelson once again shows that she truly enjoys the shadowy sides of writing. Taking readers faster and farther into hidden realms. Where life and death pursuits push heated lust to all new heights.
As an author, Eri Nelson enjoys rapid action driven hastily along in a quest for fantasy gone awry. With each new look into the series it is our author’s hope to take readers by surprise and leave them wanting for more.

Inside Eri Nelson’s Mind
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Perfection is that elusive land beyond my pen (lol). However, happiness is something I am delighted to encounter daily through simple connections that lay at my fingertips reach.
What turns you on creatively? With visions of splendor adorning every facet of the earth, the most appealing creative source is a blank screen. For here, a world of my own making awaits for my creation.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? Sadly, these would be transition words for me. Stretching the reach of however and linger on the drawing conclusions of therefore (lol).
What quality do you most admire in a man? Men are so vastly different in comparison. Admittedly, if I were searching for a particular quality it would be reliability. To know he will be there no matter what is a true and genuine quality that rules my heart.
What quality do you most admire in a woman? This is possibly harder for me to answer for it would signal me to perhaps look deeper into myself (lol). Course if I were to put my vanity aside, my thoughts would see clear to stating that honesty would be the most admired quality.
What is your greatest regret? I am not sure that regret is anything that I have taking that much time to think about. For with mistakes that often stir regret comes something learned and I hope to keep learning to a ripe old age.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? In my moments of dress where realization has come that a particular item might not fit anymore, I often wish to change my weight (lol). However, outside of that I like myself and cannot think of myself in any other light.
What is your greatest fear? Losing loved ones would have to be the biggest fear. We all know that ultimately the day will come when they will part our company but it rarely prepares us for the reality of it.
Which living person do you most admire? My husband bears my admiration. He has an immense amount of tolerance and compassion for the crazy woman he lives with. Outside of my esteem, he should earn a medal (lol).
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? At one time, I had tried a brief stint at college where my goal was to be a Social Worker. The social science always intrigued me and ultimately persuaded my major. Nevertheless, it was at a time where I had gotten ill and found myself on a different path. Therefore, if I had it to do over again I would try my hand once again as a Social Worker.
If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? I have never really have taken to much thought on my reincarnation choice. This life is all I have been able to handle up until now (lol).
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Without a doubt my family.
What is the trait you most deplore in others? Selfishness is a very unattractive trait and one that makes me cringe to see.
What is your greatest extravagance? Shoes and watches…. My true weakness and most hefty expense. (lol)
What is one thing you want to do before you die? Live every day to its fullest.
What is your favorite music (genre/artist/album/song)? I like a variety of music. Although my favorites would be Josh Groban and AC/DC. Very vastly different genres of music but both move me in very different ways.
What are some of your favorite curse words? Realistically I try to sway myself from these…. Although, when I stub my toe it is “damn it to hell”. (lol)
What is your motto? Never judge a book by its cover, until you have read the pages inside.
Thank you so much Eden for allowing me this time with you and your readers. It has been a true honor.
[Eden] The honor has been mine.
Readers, I encourage you to connect to Eri. She’s a wonderful author to know and a supportive person for your network.
