Issue with the Elwyn Chronicles.
Any of you that have been following me for a while know that I work very hard to put out a professional product. I spend money on multiple editors, recruit teams of volunteers, and yet mistakes still make it through. Normally, they are minor and do not really impact the reader experience.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the release of The Elwyn Chronicles. Simply point the wrong file went out and everyone that purchased the book over the first few days, or borrowed it through Kindle Unlimited, received a copy that was missing the final proofreading pass of edits.
The corrected file was uploaded to Amazon, but Amazon has a policy of not replacing old copies of books with new ones. This means that while new readers who buy the book would get the correct copy, all those that have already purchased the book will not.
I have spent the time from release till now working with Amazon and they have finally agreed to make the corrected file available for everyone that has already purchased the book. To find out if you were affected by this issue, log on to Amazon, and go to “Manage your content and devices.” That should bring up a list of books that you have purchased. On that screen look the Elwyn Chronicles. If you have the bad file, you will see a line like:
Click image to see full size
Click where it says “update available” and you will see a screen like this:
Click image to see full size
Click update and Amazon will update your copy to the corrected version. If you have any trouble, please contact Amazon and they will get you sorted.
Sorry.

Runner Of Steel
I did something today that I once thought was beyond me. In fact, I thought it was so far beyond me that I never considered it in the realm of possible. It was just not on my radar. I am sure most people reading this would say the same about themselves.
As I posted previously ( Read here: I am not a runner ) I have faced some very serious health issues, but even back in High School, when I was young and stupid I never considered attempting what I accomplished today. I did not even list in that posting all the serious health issues I had to over come to accomplish what I did this morning.
I wanted to post this update to that post, because today I took that to a new level. This morning, at 11:17am I cross the finish line of the Pittsburgh 2016 Marathon, earning the title Runner of Steel. I ran the full marathon in four hours and eleven minutes.
Did it hurt? Yes. Was it hard? Yes. Did I almost collapse after crossing the finish line in tears causing one of the volunteers to rush over and try to convince me to head to the medical tent? Yes. Am I still in pain more than 10 hours later as I write this? Yes. But you know what? I ran a flipping marathon, finishing well into the top half of contenders, with only a half of a functioning heart. Yes, you read that right.
Why? Because I refuse to roll over and give up. I refuse to be on piles of pills the rest of my life, and I refuse to be a slave to my glucose meter. I refuse to let my arthritis dictate what I can and can not do.
Yes, my future probably still holds a pacemaker, and I expect at some point I will have to slowly add back in pills. But not today. Today I am a Runner of Steel.
I do not know what you are facing as you read this, but what ever it is, it does not have to master you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Life is about the journey. Life is about living. Take back your life from whatever you are facing and LIVE.
You are important. You have a purpose. Discover it and own it. You got this!

A Map And Other News
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to touch base and update everyone on the state of both The Dragon Masters and The Lost Tales of Power.
First, Volume VIII of the Lost Tales is well under way. I have twelve chapters written, and many of your old favorite characters have already had brief appearances. For now, the working title is Mage Hunter, but I am not fully settled on that.
Mage Hunter will introduce you to a new character, another old associate of Grandmaster Vydor’s from before the great war, but his story will intertwine with the various groups of wizards you already know.
Second, The Dragon Masters: Season Two is with my editor still, but I spoke with her yesterday and she said she is right on schedule. That means our targeted release date of MAY 13, 2016 for Season Two is still looking good!
As a reminder, Season Two will only be released as a full set, a single long novel, and not as individual episodes. I am glad I experimented with that format in Season One, but as of right now I have no plans to repeat that. Future seasons will all be released as complete books.
Print edition of Season One is also under way. I have contracted Therin Knite (http://www.knitedaydesign.com) to format it for print, and have asked Adam Hall (http://www.aroundthepages.com), our cover artist, to adjust the cover so that it will work in print. I suspect that will be ready in the next week or two. Both of them do excellent work.
Finally, I want to share this map with you! A new artist I met here locally in town named Tessa Sentell (tessa@sentall.org) created it for us. It is the world of Ferrin as it stands at the end of Season One. I will be including it in the Season Two ebook and print book formats. I have already received one request to make a poster of this, and I am looking into what that would cost. Okay enough chatter, here is the map:
Thanks for being such a great community of readers, and please do not forget to spread the word about these books!

Cover Reveal!
Hey everyone! I do not really have much news, but I do want to share the cover for the next season of The Dragon Masters! So here it is:
Cool, huh? Adam Hall does a killer job on these.
Pre-Reading of the manuscript is complete, and I am doing my final edits before shipping it off to our editor. I have a hard deadline to make, and as usual am behind schedule. So, once again you can expect espresso sales to suddenly spike.

Lost Tales of Power Volume VIII
It is official, I have started writing the eighth volume in the Lost Tales of Power Series! I have not gotten all that far, just about 1,700 words… or about 8 pages. Hey, every story has to start some where, right?
Volume VIII is tentatively called “Mage Hunter” but that will probably change many times before release. It will feature some old favorites and new characters as the Lost Tales Universe continues to grow. It takes place after Spectra’s Gambit, and at least starts in Vydoria. Beyond that, well you will just have to wait for the book!
In other news, Season Two of The Dragon Masters is with my new first pass proof reader. He has done only one other work for me, much smaller, but he thinks I should have this book back by late next week. If so, that means the pre-readers will be getting it early the following week.
God willing, and the creek don’t rise, that puts us on target for a late March, early April release of Season Two. Keep your eyes on your email, I have been known to run early pre-release sales on my books, and only tell my newsletter subscribers.
So more news as things develop, until then, please spread the word about both my series and keep in touch! I love hearing from readers on Facebook, Twitter, here on this blog, and via email.

Open Call For Pre-Readers!
I am looking for a few brave souls to join my elite ranks of pre-readers…The time has come! I am putting the last touches on the manuscript for The Dragon Masters: Season Two! On Monday it will go out to my proof reader who will take care of the most egregious typos. Once that is done, the book will go out to my pre-readers (aka beta-readers.)
So that means I need to fill up some slots on the pre-reader list. A pre-reader is a volunteer that gets the rough draft of the story months before it comes out and looks for story issues, and provides early feed back. Pre-readers get the book before it has been edited so they will be rough areas, typos, plot hoes, and the like.
As a pre-reader you will have two weeks to get your feed back in, and you will need to be able to read the entire book, and provide feedback with in two weeks. After that is complete I need to another round of edits and get it off to my editor.
Season Two contains major spoilers for Season One, so if you have not read Season One yet, you may want to read that first.
So if you can help out, please drop me an email and let me know! Time and space is limited, so do not delay!
Thanks!

State of the Series November 2016
Hey everyone!
It is time for one of my world famous state of the series posts!
I had originally planed to release Rise of Shadows in audio before Christmas. It was a good plan, and sales were sufficient to raise the capital needed to hire Jack again, however the bottom fell out of my plans and that money did not come through. Right now I am shooting for first quarter 2016 to get the next book out in audio. The plan still is to have Jack do all of the Lost Tales books in audio and I am hoping to get them done sooner rather than later.
Volume Eight of the Lost Tales of Power is still slated for mid to late 2016. I have not yet locked in which book will be number eight. In the running is:
The third book in the Sac’a’rith arc
A new arc biased on Craig (Shea’s brother)
Sequel to Spectra’s Gambit
A foundations story about the orginal tearing of reality
A new arc biased on the Cyborg threat
I am leaning towards the third book in the Sac’a’rith, but have not fully decided yet. I would love to hear from you! Which would you prefer?
Season Two of the Dragon Masters series is going well. I am halfway through episode four of the series. I hope to have it ready for pre-readers as early as January 2016, but that is a bit of a stretch goal right now. For those of you that asked after him, yes Lord Silverleaf will show up in the new season, as well some of your other well loved characters.
So that is the state of the series for November 2015! If you use Facebook, friend me (https://www.facebook.com/AuthorVincent) and join the Lost Tales Group there (which is for all of my readers despite the name). If you prefer Twitter, you can find me there as @VincentTrigili.
Thanks for being such great readers! Please continue to spread the word about both series! Thanks!

The Silverleaf Chronicles
Were you waiting for the full season to be out before starting my new series? Well, you can stop waiting! The Dragon Masters Season One: The Silverleaf Chronicles has been released! It includes all seven episodes that make up the first season, which includes Episode 0: The Storymaster.
I am working hard on Season Two and hope to release it first quarter of 2016. As of right now I am pretty confident that I will abandon the serial format and release all six or seven episodes of Season Two as a single collection, unlike how I did the first Season.
Writing Season One as a serial was a good experiment, and I learned a lot by it. Namely, I learned I do not like doing it. It is a lot more work, and money, to juggle the required resources and schedules as compared to releasing a single novel.
Once Season Two is complete, the next book will be Volume VIII in the Lost Tales universe. The gang over there is getting restless! If I do not get back to them soon, they may rebel!

Episode 6: Hope
Hey everyone! The Silverleaf Chronicles: Episode 6: Hope is now live on Amazon!
You can get Hope by clicking this link: http://amzn.to/1VaEh7F
This is the last episode in Season One, and will be followed by the box set in a few weeks (once I get all the formatting and the like done). Season Two, The Elwyn Chronicles I hope to have out in early 2016.
Following the release of The Elwyn Chronicles, I plan to release Volume 8 of the Lost Tales of Power.
Thanks for being such a great group of readers and please remember to spread the word about both my series! Thanks again!
