As a long struggling screenwriter recently turned thriller novelist, I'm pleased to post my 2017 debut novel, THE PRICE SHE'LL PAY here on Goodreads. I've enjoyed the freedom of the long novel format for the first time in my writer's journey. I can finally exhale.

I blame my Muse for my deep interest in a story that originates in WWII. When I stumble upon a little known fact or segment of the war years, a story miraculously begins to bloom.

My other explorations into WWII are two feature scripts, one a biography, the other won several awards and is now in 2018, a novel about occupied Paris and the Mona Lisa -- I'LL BE SEEING YOU.

That's why as a "panster" my debut took nine years. I did stop for many months, met with a WW II hero for six weeks, then wrote his story in a screenplay before I finished my debut. I couldn't stop tweaking it either.
