I am a Northwest writer who writes science fiction time travel novels. My main influence was my father who had a passion for science fiction.

After I graduated from the University of Florida with a Master's Degree in Education, minor in English, speech and journalism, I taught English and creative writing at Bradford High School.

One night during a long boring ride back from a vacation weekend, I began to construct a story from a passing name on a billboard that struck my fancy. Going at 65mph, that one glance turned into a whole world of exotic characters and intriguing places. No wonder I write about time travel and time manipulation.

However first, you really have to have a sense of where you're going or what your ending looks like. I don't outline, but I have bullet points of events. Larry Brooks suggests a very tight structure, but I use his outline to get the pacing. If you don't ramp up the action as you move toward your character's goals, you may end up wandering in the weeds and losing your way.

I enjoyed how Weir described the moon's colony and the hysterical antics of Jazz, the young protagonist as she dug her way deeper and deeper into trouble. Secondary characters were also well-defined and interesting.

I enjoyed this one. Once again characters were strong and I liked the storyline of the Android. Background of surviving in a junkyard with only a computer to raise the main character was interesting. Recommend it.
