Growing up the oldest, and only girl, in a family of three, I have lost myself in books for as long as I could remember. Favorites have been read and re-read until they fell apart, copies replaced, and the whole thing repeated. Since the time I realized that books don't spontaneously appear, but someone sits down to write the stories, I have been fascinated with the process. Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season. Mine was very quiet, spent mainly with close family and friends, just the way I like it.
