When Sarah Boucher's not embroiled in either teaching kindergarten or penning a new fairytale, cute shoes and handbags, cheesy music, movies that cause her to snort while laughing, baking (especially if chocolate is involved), and more British television than anyone this side of the Atlantic has any business watching, keep her entertained.

A native Utahn, Sarah graduated from Snow College and Brigham Young University. She currently lives and teaches in Ogden, Utah.

I also am dying to jump into Robin King's Rembrandt Trilogy (YA Romance, Adventure), Alyson Peterson's Ian Quicksilver (YA Fantasy), and Angela Corbett's Eternal Starling (Paranormal Romance). And about five more books...(less)

When they do, I ask myself if what they're doing is true to who they are or if my story has gone off course. Then I ask myself if the new direction is better than my original plan. Sometimes it requires a little rewriting or the tweaking of the outline to accommodate things you didn't see coming from the beginning. But sometimes you end up with something that works far better than you planned.(less)

“All of us are somewhat beastly, you know,” he added.
“He just wears his beastliness where everyone can see it.” To my surprise, he chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “At least you know what you’re getting into, right?”
Sarah Boucher, Becoming Beauty

“The first time I realized I had something to lose was when I had already lost it. Before then, I prayed for freedom from my mundane life. Until I was cut free, I didn’t understand how wonderful that life was.”
Sarah Boucher, Becoming Beauty

“I was no more interested in agriculture than I was in learning how to milk cats, but I persisted because I couldn’t resist bothering him while he was reading. “And what have you learned so far?” “That certain young women are relentless pests,” he responded blandly, his eyes still fixed on the book. “Ridiculous,” I chided. “That has nothing to do with agriculture.”
