Hide and Seek, Pure Genius Series, #1 Releases Feb 1
As a new author on Goodreads, I wanted to briefly introduce my work to potential readers. The Pure Genius Series follows the adventures of two geniuses who have noses for danger and eyes for each other. Book 1, Hide and Seek, releases on February 1, leaving me with a gaggle of book-launch activities and only a few moments to make this initial post.
I plan to use this blog to let interested readers know what I'm reading and what I'm writing. The three novels currently queued up with my publisher are all thrillers with romance, as are the other three manuscripts I'm working on. Since I write CBA-compliant stories, some of you might classify my work as high-action romantic suspense--thrillers ratcheted down to a PG (occasionally PG-13) rating.
In my stories, you can expect chase scenes, bombs and bullets, and romantic interludes all woven around some area of concern. For Hide and Seek, cyber espionage and terrorism provide the concern. The heroine, Jennifer, a beautiful young Japanese-Hawaiian woman with a 200 IQ and a bad temper, would provide the romance if the hero, Lee, could stop pushing her hot buttons and incurring her wrath. But that's difficult when the woman you're pursuing has 55 IQ points on you and deduces your motives even before you do.
That's a brief introduction to my writing. I'll keep you posted.
