Greetings everyone,

After five years, I thought I'd check in!

In February, I released my first book in years. The Last Temptations of Iago Wick is a tale of demons and the hunters who hunt them in 19th century Massachusetts. If you're a fan of demon husbands, chases in dark alleyways, and socially awkward inventors, then this is the book for you!

The book is the first in The Lovelace & Wick Se... Read more of this blog post »

“The office itself was windowless and lined with shelves stuffed to the brim with books each sporting titles more Hellish than the last. “And at once, they were upon them: four decidedly perturbed vampires wearing various shades of red. They were terribly fond of the color, it seemed. Iago thought it a tad obvious, but these gentlemen did not look as though they would take criticism well, even if it were only sartorial in nature.”

“Thank you. I made it. I invent. It’s… fun. I do believe it’s the reason Mr. Frye hired me in the first place,” Thomas Atchison said and, without taking a breath, continued, “This is the finest and most accurate book on the subject of vampires that I know.” Locksley took the book. The worn brown cover was blank, but within was a title page which read: The Vampyre and Instructions for Hunting and Tracking with Introduction and Copious Index by The Great Frederick Faust. It was surely a hundred years old. “Accurate, you say?” “In terms of the lore, of course,” Thomas Atchison said with a snort. “They’re not real, Mr. Locksley. The vampire is a creature which fascinates man, and so, many stories have been written. It’s not the case with other monsters which… supposedly… stalk the night. We speak very little of ghouls, demons.”

Linda (Miss Greedybooks) Jennifer Rainey made a comment in the group Paranormal and Horror Lovers— Joe Hill topic

"Since we have a thread for Stephen King, I figured why not start one for his son, Joe Hill! Heart-Shaped Box is truly one of the most frightening books I've ever read! I have 20th Century Ghosts waiting on my Kindle.

Has anyone read Horns, his latest novel? I'm definitely intrigued by it, and someone mentioned to me a while ago they thought they were making a movie of it.

Reply to your question:
I liked "Heart Shaped Box" the most. "20th Century Ghosts" was a good bunch of short stories. "Horns" 3rd on my list of how well I liked them. I am wanting to get the one he wrote with Steven!

Savannah Jennifer, thank you for the friendship.
Stay naughty,

Thomas Amo Hey Jennifer it was cool to see you on Spalding's Racket Today!!
