New Short Story: Loss Prevention at the Hypermart

Happy new year! I have a New Year’s-themed short time-travel story published in WMG Winter Holiday Spectacular this year. It’s available here on Wonderland Press until next Saturday, January 7. (After that, it will be available through the collected volumes, which will be posted here.) From Kris’s introduction (which tickles me pink!): Genre/Mood: claustrophobic time […]

Bleak horror for humans

Much of horror is written as a race to the bottom, to see who can go darkest fastest and most brutally. The short stories here don't have to work at hitting darkness; they were dark enough to force me to stop and take breaks. B

Laurie I missed your last giveaway. I truly want to read your "Alice" books. Is "Alice in Underland" the first one? I love remakes of "old" stories. I've written a couple myself. My students loved my rewrite of "The 3 Little Pigs," especially the end. Want to read it? It's short but funny. I have to get it off my computer at school , though. Let me know.

Also, let me know when you are doing more giveaways. The types of books you write are the types of books I love the most.

(I see I missed the last giveaway. Boo hoo... )

Tamara Just ordered Alice's Adventures in Underland: The Queen of Stilled Hearts :D and can't wait for it to come in the mail! =]
