I'd heard bad things but "bad" is a point of view. Splatter Western and Sparkly Western look nothing alike so I'm not sure why there's so much confusion between the two. This is the most Tarantino of this series in my opinion. It jumps a

Starving Zoe by C. Derick Miller
"Here we have book 5 in the excellent Splatter Western series from Deaths Head Press. And this one is a doozy.

The story of Robert Jack is kind of like "what if Holden Caulfield lived in the old west and was a racist, murderous sociopath with no redeem" Read more of this review »
Starving Zoe by C. Derick Miller
"A skin-walker and an Indian medicine witch seek revenge in the old west. Loved it except the groin torture, just reading that part hurt."

“I never thought we’d get this far. I guess what drives us is the fact that we weren’t satisfied with the answers that we’ve been given since birth. It’s not just black and white, like they’d have us believe. There’s always a gray area. We’re going to be the ones to dance all in that gray area.” - Chad Miller, Greenville Herald Banner Interview”
Chad Miller, A Taste of Home

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967

“A man who procrastinates in his choosing will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance.”
Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967

“Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously.”

“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.”
J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

“That's the whole trouble. You can't even find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "Fuck you" right under your nose.”

C. Miller I really wanted to give you guys the first chapter to Extinguished...but Goodreads has a 50000 character limit in their blogs.

C. Miller I'm not even sure how this works. Is this something I'm supposed to write to you guys or are you guys supposed to write something to me? Just in case, pretend I'm not me. Problem solved.
