I was tempted to get into her 'ending,' but then I decided to leave it alone (yes, lots of cruel and evil thoughts were running through my head...lol). Glad you enjoyed the series, and hope I can write more that you will equally love. :)

Tammy Bland I'm not even sure how I came across your Untouchable Series. I Absolutely Loved all of them front to back. I really hated to see the story end. I didn't like Micah Moretti but I kind of figured that was what Sharon had up her sleeve when she "made him finish". Hope her death was slow and painfull...evil I know.

Thank You....I wish I could find more books like this.

Thanks, Jo!! I'm thrilled that you have enjoyed everything I've written, so far. Hopefully, I'll have another novel on the market in the coming weeks (Kingdom Hill). The Substitute is a short, but I love the relationship that develops between the characters. You'll have to let me know what you think about it.
:)
Thanks again,
Lindsay

Thank you, Debbie! Kingdom Hill (I'm hoping) will be ready by mid-August. I think it's one of my best stories (so far). Robbin' Hood...I'm getting excited about diving into that one :)

message 22: by Lindsay

Lindsay Delagair Okay, so it took me a little while to respond to this simply because I hadn't written the back cover copy for Kingdom Hill, yet. Condensing a story down to a couple paragraphs without giving too much away can be difficult. :) Here is a little blurb on Kingdom Hill:

Kingdom Hill is the dual story of a modern day love affair and an 8th century King and his kingdom.

Cass is a hard-edged business woman with a scarred and painful past. She sees men simply as a way to take care of physical needs, and nothing more. When her company wins the bid to survey the U.K., she discovers a massive hill in southern Scotland where her knowledge tells her there should only be flat land. She is determined to explore the oddity alone, until AJ, a handsome National Geographic’s writer, asks to join her team. When her bitchy attitude doesn’t dissuade him, she agrees. Together they discover a castle buried under the hill along with the scrolls that tell of the fall of the once great Kingdom.

As the startling story of Kingdom Hill unfolds, Cass realizes, for the first time in her life, she is falling in love. But, when AJ reveals something that has ended every romantic relationship he’s ever had, will Cass turn out to be like all the rest?

***end of blurb***

The story is extremely emotional as you learn about the tragedy of Kingdom Hill, Cass's inner scars, and AJ's secret. I think it's one of the best pieces I've written, but I'll have to wait and see what all the readers out there think. I've had a few people read the manuscript, but I figured I'd done pretty good when the only guy to read it told me he cried quite a bit! :)

The next book I'm writing is called 'Robbin' Hood" Yes, it is a spin-off of the classic Robin Hood character. There is this super-rich insurance tycoon who's son died from a drug overdose. Those responsible barely get a slap on the wrists; so he gathers together a group of ex-CIA, FBI, Rangers, Seals, etc...all HOT and HANDSOME men with kick-ass attitudes to go after the drug lords, vigilante style. He tells the men that as long as the drugs are destroyed, they can feel free to do whatever they wish with the 'spoils' from the dealers (cash, cars, etc.). Naturally, they are 'robbing the rich and giving to the poor.'

Now of course there is this girl...lol...naturally...and she is a single mom with a disabled son. She is working her ass off (hotel maid by day, waitress by night). Our leading man (our Robin Hood...not his name), has been watching her from afar (a drug dealer is trying hard...without success...to get into her pants). Our guy follows her home and saves her from an unpleasant encounter with this guy. She suddenly starts receiving 'gifts'....a new van in her yard, cash for rent, etc. She thinks the good guy is like all the other guys and he just wants in her pants, but I'm going to prove her wrong.

:)

Thank you, Lisa! I really hoped people would understand that he didn't have a choice (and you're right, he would do anything to keep Leese safe). I'd also hoped that people realized by round two (without giving anything away here), he was in actor mode (to make sure someone was convinced he was reverting to his previous ways). He truly needed to hook that person to make sure everything turned out as promised.

As far as a #4...I'd be a liar if I said it wasn't already rolling around in my thoughts, but (if I do) it won't be for a while. I have another novel that is finished and almost ready for publication. It is a story that (literally) was in my head for 20 years before I decided I was ready to tackle it (Kingdom Hill). Once that one is on the market, I'm doing a modern-day remake involving a classic character.

Once again, thank you for the uplifting note.
:)

Lisa I LOVED Untraceable!! Awesome job Lindsay on this trilogy! I was almost scared to read it because of the crash but was so hoping it wasn't Leese and you sure don't disappoint there! What a wonderful storyline! I couldn't put it down! I was so glad Micah and Leese got their happy ever after...just hated the fact what Sharon did to Micah but with the storyline he had no choice and he would have done anything to save his one true love! Any chance for book #4 in this series??? Can't wait to read more books from you! What a great author and one of my very favorites!
Congratulations again on a great series!

It is going exceedingly well!! Wrote one of the 'big' scenes today that I've been wanting to write for the longest time!! I thought I'd finish the book today, but got a call from my sister who is very ill. I went to see her and spent 5 hours listening and talking. I should finish the novel tomorrow---lots of editing ahead and then it will be on the market! Yay!! :)

Lindsay Delagair Brittany wrote: "When can we expect untracable to be out? I just read book 1 and 2 in the last 3 nights and really can't wait for book 3!"

I'm in the final stages of writing book III. I slipped away to a place without TV, radio, internet, husband, or animals, for the last few days (I would include kids in this list, but actually one of my daughters is hooked on the trilogy and she comes out every so often and asks me to read what I've written...lol). I'm at 114K words and on the 'big' scene (not the epilogue; I actually wrote that a week or two ago). It helps that there is a tropical depression out in the Gulf because the pitter-patter of raindrops is so soothing when it comes to writing ;). I hope to have it published in early/mid-July...so not too much longer!

I was trying to have Untraceable on the market by the last week in June, but wrapping up the ending is taking longer than I anticipated. I know exactly how I want the ending, but logically getting the characters in place is another story (lol). I'm still trying for the end of June, but it may stretch into July. Thank you for the compliment on Heart of the Diamond. It's my first novel, but the story of Katie and Albert rolled around in my head and made me crazy for several years before I decided I couldn't take it anymore...it HAD to go onto paper :)

The car crash isn't a nightmare (as the prologue was for book two)...it really happens, but you're just going to have to hang in there to find out how everything turns out...sorry, I just can't give anything away. I hit 90K+ words for Untraceable last night. It is a complicated, nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat ending, but it's coming together (though taking me longer than I'd planned). I'm hoping that as soon as I get it on the market, I can do some autographed trilogy give-a-aways on Goodreads. Thanks for the email. I appreciate the encouragement ;)
