Anon hate from the late 1800’s.
What I love most about this is that this person was SO INCENSED at the recipient that they couldn’t even wait the days/weeks it would take for the mail to go through. No, they had to say “FUCK YOU” as soon as fucking possible and, AND, let the recipient that they were not done with the fuck you, nay, this was merely the first volley in what would undoubtably be a dressing down of Biblical proportions.
TUMBLR. NO.
Look at that picture What do you notice about the text? Does it LOOK like it’s printed on there using technology from the 1800s? NO. Not unless they had laser or inkjet printers back then, and let me give you a little hint. THEY DID NOT.
The letterhead is wrong for the purported date. It’s missing an addressee. It’s not even folded correctly. Okay, here we go:
This is a Western Union telegram from the 1950s:
See how the text has been cut and pasted on there to make paragraphs? That’s because it was printed off in one long strip, then cut to fit the paper.
Also, see how there’s an address in the top left of the real telegram? That’s because telegrams NEED addresses, like any other mail, or else how would the delivery person know who it was for?
And last, the letterhead on the fake wasn’t in use until at least the 1930s. A telegram from the late 1800s would have a letterhead like this one:

Please please please please don’t fetishize these people. I’ve seen some bloggers reblog this just to fetishize these people and it is disgusting and disrespectful. This post is to boost cultural pride, for appreciating and dedicating the cultures of the non white people and not to be fetishize on. I am a Filipina and my culture is the 9th pic and I am going to be disappointed if one of these people ended up being fetishize on some blog.
Remember, fetishation and appreciation is totally different.
Please respect the purpose of this post. These people on the picture are humans and not some mere accessory to fetishize at.

I’m telling this story again b/c fuck it but anyways I was playing D&D and one of my friends went “brown bear brown bear what do you see” and on cue three of us turn to him and like, death metal screech “ALLLL”.
The dude goes completely pale faced. I saw true horror in his eyes.
He didn’t know the joke.
So apparently dude just had three of his best friends demonically screech at him for no goddamn reason.
I do not think I will ever cause that level of sheer terror and confusion ever again in my life.
