Nuri Pakdil is a Turkish author, poet and translator. He is the founder of Edebiyat Dergisi and Edebiyat Dergisi Yayinlari. He run the Edebiyat Dergisi, an independent literary journal, for fifteen years (1969-1984) and published more than 40 books in this period. Beside his own works, he translated various French pieces to Turkish. After 1997, he started to publish new books of his own. He currently lives in Ankara.
