Hi, Mavis,

I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! Your guess is right, we did end up splitting with our publisher in the middle, which is why there's been such a long gap, and why this Goodreads listing for Slivers is so out of date, but the good news is that Matt and I have since gotten the rights to the series back, and we're going to be independently releasing Slivers this summer! In fact, we approved the cover art for it on the very day you posted this question :)

We're planning to release it mid-July, after we put out the new, independent editions of Splinters and Shards.

The other good news is yes, now that we don't have to worry about a publisher signing off, we can say that there will most definitely still be five books, and as soon as Matt and I finish up another project we're working on in the next couple months, we're planning to get to work writing the fourth.

By the way, The Prospero Chronicles have always been a particular passion project for me, and especially after all we've been through in the past couple years trying to keep the series alive, it means a whole lot to me to know there are readers who are still as excited to see it continue as I am <3(less)

“That’s probably the best thing you can say about zombies. They put everything else in perspective.”
F.J.R. Titchenell, Confessions of the Very First Zombie Slayer

“I didn’t say anything about that, but I was thinking three things: How much further out of touch we’d fallen than I’d thought. How relieved I was to know that she hadn’t come by her perfect skin and extra two cup sizes without a little help. How long that one emergency pad was going to last.”
F.J.R. Titchenell, Confessions of the Very First Zombie Slayer

“Pretty much all the human bodies that existed on earth, the ones that were annoying when all they usually did was make places crowded, are now actually, actively trying to kill us and everything else that moves, and your plan is to go into Manhattan?”
F.J.R. Titchenell, Confessions of the Very First Zombie Slayer

“I’m not the one and only. I don’t want to be the one and only. But for the task of giving two figs about anyone other than myself? I choose me.”
Fiona J.R. Titchenell, Pinnacle City: A Superhero Noir

“No one has to forgive anyone just for being
dead.”
Fiona J.R. Titchenell, Stitches

“Not my fault' was just a pretty way of saying 'out of my hands.”
