Today was a fun day. Sat through a writing class all day on how to do formal writing. Than I had the chance to see the article about me in the newspaper at http://helenair.com/lifestyles/articl.... Outside of the picture the article seemed pretty good. And the day ended with a fun party, so not too bad.

Simple Joys

Today we went to the library and had so much fun. I hadn’t been to the library here yet, so we found some books and went to the auditorium and sat down together. All of my kids were cuddled in my arms as we read stories together. I could’ve stayed there all night.

Fisher House Foundation

A word of advice

Be cautious sticking your finger into your child's mouth when they're teething. It will leave a mark, believe me...

Proceeds

I didn’t see a place to post this information, so I thought I would take one post to inform everyone that all the author proceeds to my book go to supporting our troops. I feel it’s important to support those that have given so much for us.

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

I had my first Chicago Deep Dish Pizza today, and boy it lived up to the name. The pizza was so good that now I'm regretting eating so much. Mind you, I was challanged by the waiter to eat my whole pizza, which he said I couldn't do. So, of course, I did it and won...a rice crispy treat.

The Wind and the Rain

Today my four year old son leaned over to my wife and first blew at her than spit at her. The action was so odd to her that she just sat there in shock. Finally, he explained. "It's the wind and the rain mom."

While In Chicago

Well, I'm out in Chicago. It's going to be fun learning this new city while I'm here for a week.
