Daphne Self, formerly published under D.M. Webb, is a Mississippi transplant who moved from soybean and cotton fields to corn fields to dwell in the heart of Marion, IA. She enjoys the days spent with her family and various pets, be it a day of gaming, shopping, relaxing, or exploring. With three books already published, Daphne looks forward to creating more stories for her readers.

First person POV is hard to master. The author dug deep when needed and pulled back when she needed to show an emotional detachment.
