Thanks for the question. I'd be happy to adapt pretty much any Cronenberg film, but I don't think I'll get the opportunity to handle another. I was asked to adapt The Brood in large part because, at the time, David Cronenberg and I shared the same literary agent in Toronto. If I had a choice, I think I'd like to adapt A History of Violence - directed by Cronenberg, but not written by him. (less)

…if you want to get a glimpse of how US administrations - over a period of twenty years - managed to embroil the country in a fruitless and ultimately pointless war. Not unlike Vietnam.

“More concerning, the decade to 2010 was the warmest that Greenland has seen — at least in the 120 years for which records have been kept. Furthermore, the Arctic summers of 2010, 2011 and 2012 were the warmest since at least the 1400s.”
Richard Starks, Greenland for $1.99

“an Arctic desert with no rain and minimal vegetation that was every bit as desolate and bleak as the Tibetan plateau. Along the way we passed what is billed as “the world’s most northerly golf course”, laid out in 1986 by a couple of bored helicopter pilots working for Greenland Air with the help of a night watchman from the Kangerlussuaq Hotel.”
