Why do so many web cartoonists hate the fuck out of Jim Davis? I get that Garfield is mediocre and was popular like 20 years ago but people seem to resent him with the intensity of a thousand suns. What's deal? What did he do that was so terribly evil? Is
Davis is pretty much the embodiment of crass, corporate thinking masquerading as creativity. Some artists just hate that shit, myself included.
It's the same reason Least I Could Do is so awful. I'm sure Sohmer is a nice guy and whatever, but goddamn if everything he does isn't calculated as hell… I can't believe there are people who actually buy into his manufactured edginess.

A couple people have asked me this (or maybe just one person asked me a few times) but I dunno what Kaiba is except for that one guy from Yu-gi-oh who is always screwing the rules because he has money.

What's your favorite hentai and why?
I liked "Mezzo Forte" a lot. It's more an action series with sex scenes thrown in as a fun little aside, but it's all so well done that it hurts. Umetsu is really bloody talented and I dunno why he isn't more famous than he is. Unfortunately he does have the tendency to do sex stuff that's a bit on the cruel side, but Mezzo's was pretty fun and breezy stuff.
By the way, I'm answering a few questions now, but I'm not drawing illustrations to open and close them this time 'cause I'm feelin lazy tonight.
What's your favourite Pixar film?
The Incredibles. It was the first 3D animated movie I've seen that felt completely like legitimate animation. Brad Bird is one of those guys who's a genius, plain and simple.
I've yet to see Up. I have the DVD but have just been sitting on it. Maybe I'll watch it now!
