I started as a freelance journalist sometime in 2002. I'm still writing articles for newspapers and magazines, and have self-published many non fiction books. I published my first novel, "The Salome Effect," in 2012 and am now working on my second.
"Salome" is a a cross-genre story (noir/police procedural) about a man suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and finding his way back to a more normal life.
The as-yet-untitled next work is a historical novel set in 17th century Italy.

Venice Film Festival 2019

I spent five days at the 76th annual “Mostra Internazionale D’Arte Cimematografica,” otherwise known as the Venice Film Festival. Yes, that is Venice, Italy.  I know: I am very fortunate to live nearby!

Reading this was like watching a Mel Brooks movie. There were some really nice moments and good comedy, but in the end I am not exactly fulfilled.

James Sajo Hi Lucinda,
I am happy to meet a fellow reader/writer! Thank you for the invite.
Your copy of "The Salome Effect" should be in the post by tomorrow morning. I'll send another short message once I do actually manage to make that happen.

Cheers,
Jim
