M. Raiya is a Vermonter and splits her time between a home in the mountains and a camp on a lake, writing full time when she’s not taking long walks with her dog, swimming, kayaking, or birding, always with a camera in hand. She writes gay paranormal romance. Mostly. Her novel Depth of Return won first place in the 2017 Rainbow Awards in the Gay Paranormal Romance category, and her novel Another Healing was a finalist in the 2015 Rainbow Awards. She has been published by Less Than Three Press, Dreamspinner Press, Changeling Press, and Torquere Press.

I have a new, stand alone novel called Winter that is submitted to a publisher right now and I am anxiously waiting to hear back. It's another paranormal romance about a guy who works in a sex shop and meets a man in a hotel who mysteriously vanishes in the middle of a conversation and things get stranger from there.
I have finished the third novel in the Another Healing Series. It's called Cricket, and it's about two witches who fall in love, and yes, they both have demons. One of the witches is Don Turner, who was a minor character in Depth of Return. The other is a new character named Adam Ember, who has a seizure disorder, and Cricket is his very unique service dog. All the other guys show up, of course, and some of the book is set on North's island and there's more of little Giles.
Also, I'm planning on self publishing the Notice Series. I want to combine all the shorter pieces into one volume, and I've written a new novella to go along with them. It's going to be called Dragon Awakening, I think, and it's about what happens when Josh is alone with Jenny at the mall and she turns into a dragon in the stroller, and Varian is caught at school in a blizzard. I want to write another novel in the series about Jenny's biological father turning up and trying to claim her. It might be from Wells's point of view, so there will be more of him and Justin. That one's not firm in my head yet.
AND I'm right in the middle of a novel I've been wanting to write for a long time called The Music of Space, which is a kind of science fiction thing about a king from one planet who comes to Earth and falls in love with the lead guitar player of a rock band called Space. It's going to be a really long book and I'm having marvelous fun with it.
So yes, I'm writing up a storm right now and hope to be publishing up a storm in the near future after too long with nothing coming out. I have definitely not gone away.
