Someone told me, "No one would read that book..." I asked the readers. “My arms are tired, Durham. I’ve beenrowing this boat for the past twenty minutes. My fingers are getting blisters. And if it weren’t so dark you would see I have a huge splinter in my palm. Why is it you always make me do the rowing on these trips?”“Stop whining, Penny. Do you want to do my job? Do you think it’s easy to do what I do? Do you think it doesn’t tire me to crack someone’s neck with my bare hands?”“I’m sure it does. I don’t know how you do it. Just hearing the sound of a person’s bones breaking makes me shudder and gag. Knowing I am hearing them release their last breath makes me wanna vomit.”“That’s how I felt at first, but now I just want to get the job
over and collect my pay. You can stop rowing we’re almost there. Pull the oars in and be careful with the poles. I don’t want you to hit this fool on the head.”“What difference would it make? He is dead right?”“Yeah, but I want no excess marks on the body or blood in the boat. Give me that rope from behind your back so I can tie this tarp around his body.”
Penny reached behind her and felt for the presence of the rope. Her fingers sliding on the damp wood encountered what she thought was rope, the slimy patches of surface causing doubt and illusions of Water Moccasins to cross her mind. Pumping her bravery she yanked it up, held it far away from her body, and pushed it towards Durham. The heavy weight and wiggle of the object not counteracting her thoughts of clearing the fear from her mind, for all she knew what she held gingerly between her fists was really a snake.“Here it is, Durham. Stretch out your hand its right in front of you. Damn it’s dark. I can barely see your hands.”“You tryin’ to say I’m too black to see in the night?”“No. I know those are gloves you have on. I’m just saying it’s too dark out here tonight. I don’t even know how you know what’s really going on around you. We’ve been on the water three times this week and each time you knew exactly where to stop and it has been dark as all hell.”“Experience pays off. I’m a creature of habit.”“Sometimes that’s not a good thing, Durham. It could be your downfall.”“It will never be mine. Cover your face there’s going to be a big nasty splash when this sloppy fat bastard hits the water.”As the water rushed into the air and the odor of rot and death seeped in through her nose and flowed quickly and deeply to the pit of her empty stomach, she gagged. The small indention behind her ears began to burn, bile rose to her throat and she fought hard not to release the contents of her stomach in retaliation.“Oh hell….” Retching fruitlessly, Penny pulled the neckline of her shirt to cover her mouth and nose. “You weren’t kidding. That….damn….water….stinks.” Her retching sounds causing a pause between each of the four words. “How many bodies have you fed to the fishes?”“Too many to count and if I tell you….well you know the old saying. Hand me the oars. I’ll row back.”“Thanks.”Penny gripping the edge of the rocking boat tightly looked around at her surroundings. It was nightmarish dark. No stars, eerie clouds moved stealthy across the sky and a sliver of moonlight peered through the thick foliage of the trees surrounding the spot where the body had disappeared. It was damned spooky. If any kind of water monster wanted to jump up and grab them and pull them into the deep blackness, this would be the perfect spot. They would disappear and no one would have any idea where to search for them. She shivered in the cool darkness; they were as much a part of the shadows as death was a part of the waters.“Where do you think the bodies go, Durham?” She whispered just in case one of those monsters from her childhood nightmares was more than a figment of her imagination. “I’ve never heard of anyone talking about bodies resurfacing so they must fall pretty deep or something eats them.”Durham laughed at the fear showing in the expanse of the white in her eyes. She held her arms crossed tight across her stomach, the rocking of her body having nothing to do with the movement of the water.“You’re not afraid of the dark are you Penny?”“Hell fuckin’ yeah. Petrified pissless and I’m not ashamed to say it, either.”Durham chuckled between the strokes of the oar.“Well, that’s the first time I’ve heard anyone say that. You can stop being afraid. Nothing is going to stick its long slimy arm out of the water and yank you out the boat.”“That’s not funny at all Durham.” She looked around and shivered even more. “Now that you’ve read my mind I’m really scared. It makes me wonder if you’ve ever seen anything creepy out here.”“Well, if you must know, sometimes when I’m sitting on the porch of that little cabin up there, I look across the water and think I see a specter of a woman or a girl. I’m not sure which it is.”“Really?” She didn’t know whether to be excited of afraid. “Where exactly does she be when you see her?”“I’m kidding Penny, geeze. I’m probably just seeing the smoke from the cigar I smoke. In a couple of minutes we’ll be close to the shore. And don’t worry about any of those bodies coming up because I know for a fact they fall into a huge cavern and just keep on going. The cavern has a vacuum like suction, things go down and nothing comes up. That’s why I always make you stop rowing at the large cluster of branches jutting out at the curve back there. The current is strong and I don’t want to get sucked in. If there were any stars in the sky I would be able to show you where the safety rope was tied. It’s there in case we ever fall into the water. Remind me to bring a flashlight the next time we come out so I can show you. Talk about a scary adventure falling in the lake and catching the ends of that slimy rope at just the right moment, exhilarating. ”“You get a thrill from danger, don’t you?”“Yup, I get more of a thrill from getting paid big bucks for dropping sloppy fat bastards in a watery hole.”“I think the real thrill for you comes from getting rid of perverts. These guys deserve everything they get.”“You know it. This last one wiggled his way into the life and home of a single mom with three little kids. Poor woman really thought he loved her and all he wanted was to get into her bank account and to rape her children.”“Sorry bastard.”“Sorry dead bastard. I hope he rots in hell.”“You know I think it’s a good thing to get child molesters off the street…hell out of the world, but how are you so sure you’re are getting the right people? What if you make a mistake and take the wrong person on a trip?”“I don’t worry about it.”“Wha…?”
“I’m kidding. Duck your head and watch the branches. I do my research every time I get a request for a fishing trip. I check the person and their habits out thoroughly. Almost every one of these guys uses the internet for child pornography. I find what they think are a commonality and build from there. I never take a trip if it seems like the guy is innocent.”“But who makes the call…uhm request? How do you know they are being honest? What if a person is being set up?”“I do a thorough search on both sides and I've never made a mistake. Why are you asking me these questions, Penny? Are you starting to be afraid of the water?”“I guess because you use me as bait. We've been on the water three times this week. I’ve had to sit around and let what I know to be fat slimy child raping pigs, paw me relentlessly and spit lies and profanity in my ear because they think I am an innocent teenager. I sit in a tiny rowboat, in the cold dark of night as you take them through their make-shift trial, sentence, and execution. Then I have to row a constantly rocking boat in the dark with a dead body at my feet. Taking all of these trips is making me believe I’m beginning to get immune to the act of death.”“I hate to say it, but you will never get truly immune. It’ll probably become easier to accept the act, but believe me it will stay with you. The last girl to be my bait is dead now. She killed herself.”“Well, I’m not gonna kill myself. How did you get into this business anyway?”“Again, if I tell you…”“You’ll have to kill me, I know. You’re like an old movie sometimes with all of your clichés and your ‘theme’ song.”“Hey don’t knock my having a theme song. The smartest woman I know advised me to get one. It took years to find the right one and it fits. It keeps me focused.”“Musta been an old lady.”“Yeah, but you would love her. Whoa….sorry about hitting the platform so hard. Wait a minute before you stand and watch your step as you get out of the water. Every time you get out of the boat you fall.” He chuckled. “Think you would have caught on by now.”“You would think. It just takes a while for me to get my land legs back and now that it’s starting to rain I really want to move faster. Do you need me to help you tie the boat or something?”“No, but you can take my phone from my jacket pocket and tell me what the text is saying. Someone is really trying to get in touch with me. They’ve texted ‘bout four times already. Take it and move away from the water. I just bought that phone.”“I’ll just go up the bank to the parking lot. I’ll be in your car. I’m too cold to stand out here.”“Fine, and remember not to touch anything. I’ll be there in a minute.”“I know, I know.”*****“Hey wake up. Whatcha doing sitting here with the car door unlocked? Didn’t you hear me tapping on the window? I just decided to try to open the door and you almost fell into my lap.”“No, I didn’t hear anything.” She slid over to the passenger seat of the car. “I left the door unlocked for you. I thought it wasn’t going to take you long to get here.”“Sorry it took me more time than I estimated. I had to make sure nothing was left in or on the boat.”“You weren’t that long. I’m just tired.”“I know what you mean. So, what did the text say?”“Someone wants to set up a fishing trip.”“Are you in? Listen, if you don’t want to do this anymore I understand. What happened with that guy tonight was uncalled for. I tend to forget how dangerous and rough some of them are. I know you have a kid and I don’t want anything to happen to you.”“My kid is the reason I help you. You’re doing a good thing, Durham. A real good thing and I’m proud of you. Too many of those perverted bastards out there hurting kids. You protected me better than I did myself. I trust you. Yeah, I’m in.”“Great.” He released the breath he hadn’t even realized he was holding in with a gush. “I’ll drop you off at your car and then call for a reservation and find out the particulars. As soon as I know what’s what I’ll give you a call and see how to set things up.”“How soon do you think it will be?”“Not too soon. These things sometimes take a while. Some of the perves are really smart. They don’t all work alone, you know. What would really make me feel like I’m doing something is to get a large group of the filthy bastards and blow them the hell up.”“It’s a noble but probably unattainable goal.”“Ya, never know. Okay, we’re here. You can get out. Don’t forget. I’ll call you so don’t try calling me. It might be a few days or maybe even a week so don’t get antsy and call me, especially not on this cell number.”
“Don’t worry I remember the drill. I go home, get on with my life as usual and when its time, you’ll make arrangements and invite me on a fishing trip.”“You got it. Now, shut the door it’s raining on my seats. Talk to you later.”He drove off as soon as the metal of the door connected with the metal of the car’s frame.Find the book here: Paperback/Kindle, Smashwords , Sony or Kobo, Scribed Nook and for the iPad hereVengeance on Child Molesters?
Sometimes a topic is hard, but hey- somebody has to say it- When do you cross the line from being the 'hero' to becoming the monster? WHAT'S YOUR OPINION of The Fishing TripMT MathiesonI must admit to being a little uncomfortable with this story initially. Can murder ever be justified? However, as the nature of the town in which the story is set was gradually revealed, it became apparent that there was no other way. This is a well-paced story with enough action to maintain interest while at the same time providing enough background and character detail to enable the reader to relate on an emotional level. I liked the character of Roman so much that I'm hoping for a sequel so that I can meet him again. What stood out was the characters. I could feel their anger and taste their need for vengeance. You hate to sympathize with this varied group of outlaws but you find yourself rooting for them as they take child rapist off the roles of society. Ms. Wade has done her home work on this book. Five stars....a great read at a steal of a price. Highly recommend.
A Perfect Read !!!!by Urban VaperMs Wade, has shown the mastery that she truly has in the writing, construction, and execution of this book. It tells of how once you are something, no matter how well you try to mask yourself, the truth will ALWAYS rear its ugly head. The jumping back and forth works perfectly, as does all of the situations Ms Wade has created. I would highly recomend this book as a must read. I was unable to put it down, and felt a part of the story imbedding itself into me. 100% perfect !!!!
A solid read, well-written and engaging.By Springer13A cleverly spun tale of retribution featuring a well-rounded cast of characters. It's clear the author has done extensive research on the subject of child abuse and is truly trying to make a difference with this book. I wish the nefarious nature of the town were explained a bit more but overall there was a nice balance of dialogue and exposition. A solid read, well-written and engaging.
Can you ever escape your past?By DebbieThis is a complex story dealing with complex issues. Wade cleverly intertwines past and present as we learn how the events of childhood shape the present lives of a family torn apart by betrayal and abuse. Just how far will one man go to exact revenge for the death of his sister?
I found this novel occasionally confusing in places - when the flashbacks are of characters with different names, it took me a while to connect the people together. But it was ultimately a satisfying read after the loose ends were tied and I came away realising that no matter how often you change your identity and start over, you can never escape who you are inside.
Life Demands ActionBy reader3278
The Fishing Trip evoked a lot of emotions in me as a reader. This thriller goes to some pretty dark places but the author manages to execute the telling of the story without resorting to horrifying graphic details. Normally I like the graphic stuff, but in this case, my imagination will suffice.
Durham, or whatever name you want to call him by, is a special kind of hero, risking it all to save the innocent from the worst horrors you can imagine. It’s a unique tale of revenge; intricately layered as more and more players are revealed.
The resolution is bittersweet in that desired ends are met, but no matter how many tragedies are resolved and how many guilty parties are made accountable, the past and the scars it carries remain the same.
The underlying theme and the hero’s catch phrase, “Life Demands Action” continues to resonate within me and will for a long time, I believe.
Always a Pleasure! By CassondraMs. Wade has consistently satisfied my quench for reading with her words. Her stories are always centered on society's pulse of topics that need addressing. This story focused on child abuse and the way children are neglected, even though they are placed in a system that is suppose to protect them. As with all her stories, her foundations are realistic and occur on a daily basis. The characters, through the use of unorthodox methods, expose a small town for the wrongs that have been done to children for decades. I always feel satisfied after I am done reading her stories and applaud her again for not disappointing me!
Robin Bee Owens: Could be a good TV seriesI loved this book. I felt outrage and relief. I had a hard time walking away from the story, even when I had to cook dinner or spend time with my beautiful granddaughter. I would probably do the same thing Roman did if anything ever happened to my grandchildren. Excellent story.
Valerie Bowen: Every town needs a Mason. In this novel pedophiles have no chance. I loved the way the author creatively disposed of the evil trash that surrounded and preyed upon innocent children. Mason was a victim when he was young and took it upon to protect the children of a small fictitious town in Texas. Prominent men within the town felt untouchable...that is until they started dropping like flies. Lawmakers soon realize even they have a breaking point and his name is Mason. I give this book five stars for the creativity alone. Ey Wade has taken payback and justice to an entirely new level.
The Fishing Trip-A Trial by Water by Ey Wade
The justice system doesn't always work for the abused. Sometimes a defendants gets off on a technicality. There are occasions where the abused are too frighten to testify. We have all seen or heard of cases where the defendant or his attorney charms the jury and manages to win an acquittal.
But what if there was no hope of putting abusers behind bars. If there was a conspiracy between the Judges, District Attorney's and Sheriffs. Would you become a vigilante? Could you become the judge, jury and executioner? How much would it take for good people to begin to take the law into their own hands. How many abused children would you be able to see discarded by the system before taking a stand.
In one small town we start to see the conspiracy's unfold. The conspiracy of silence when the people of the town refuse to stand up for justice. The conspiracy of the legal community when the police, judges and prosecutors refuse to stand up for the victims and the people who ban together to bring frontier justice to the perpetrators of the crimes.
Ms. Wade gives us a fictional depiction of just this scenario. Her characters are interesting, their motivations clear and understandable even while we shudder at what they are doing.
A lot of twists in this story - a must read. Ey Wade is such a talented writer. Can't wait to read more from this author.

When the legal system fails a town of children who are being preyed on by pedophiles, a few citizens (one in particular) decide to take matters into their own hands. I won’t say that this is a “feel-good” book – it isn’t, but Ey Wade manages to capture the wide range of emotions that come to surface when people cannot depend on “the powers that be” to do the right thing. Rage, denial, guilt, sadness, hopelessness…you will find it all in this small, Texas town. I found myself being able to relate to different characters in this book – and some characters I wanted to throttle with my own hands. One character who surprised me was Vivian. As a mother myself, I found it hard to believe that another mother would handle herself the way she did after she found out such devastating news. Also, Vivian’s parents did not react in a way my own parents would have. Let’s put it this way, if anyone were to ever touch my children in a harmful way, I would kill them. If I didn’t get to them first, my father would. I enjoyed this book. Durham was my favorite character. He was like an onion with many layers that kept being revealed. I love it when a character has depth. I love it when you think you know a character and you end up not knowing them at all! There were many surprising twists in the story. The sad part about it is that it’s totally believable and has happened many times. I’m so glad Ey Wade’s book sheds some light on this very serious topic.AE PublicationsA cleverly spun tale of retribution featuring a well-rounded cast of characters. The review of When Clouds Touch
I love reading reviews, especially the critical ones. Wisp's that float in new readers- When Clouds Touch by Ey Wade https://a.co/d/cQVtpKn #romance #reviews #romanceinblackREVIEW: Tia Kelly 📖 "I've never read Ey Wade’s work before, nor did I know what to expect from her most recent novel “When Clouds Touch.” I just knew what the description stated. Once I started reading, I realized the blurb barely covered what was to come… except I still didn’t know what that would be.
I knew there was a young woman named Paisley MuRong that had been dealing with severe medical conditions, including Albinism and congenital heart disease. I also learned Paisley shared a destiny with Malachi Dae, and this was determined way before they even took their first breaths. What I didn’t know was why their path toward each other was so powerful or what type of story this was going to be. Was this a romantic tale? Something mystical? A story where the author will somehow exercise creative license?
Should any of that matter? It did, until I made the conscious decision to simply let that go and that’s when I was able to relax a little more and not anticipate what could come on the next page. In the world of Paisley, that’s how it is… nothing is known or even guaranteed. Therefore her world is a very cautious one. With very overprotective and, understandably so, overbearing parents, Paisley has spent most of it hidden from the “dangers” that we would simply call life. For that, I was sad for her. I even became upset and disliked her parents for it.
Then I recalled the earliest pages in this novel where Paisley and Malachi’s mothers both have moments where they felt their babies… but more importantly they were so in tune that they “knew” their child by a reaction felt in the womb. As a parent myself, I got it… That life that grew from almost nowhere was everything and forever was there a connection between parent and child. An uncontrollable desire to protect at all costs happens that just can't be explained… So when Paisley’s parents demonstrated their helicopter behaviors and then some, it was because they loved her so much that they didn’t want to lose her again. Yes… again.
Paisley’s health had many scares since she was born, including a time when they lost her and I am pretty sure that was something no one would ever want to experience again. So Paisley’s parents erected barriers and essentially created a safe place or bubble for their little girl to live in, except she is no longer their little girl. Paisley is an adult woman and she is feeling things that any one of us would feel that “bubbles” can’t keep us from experiencing.
Malachi – her soul mate – has been around her all her life, but it takes a chance encounter (or is it a chance?) to finally allow their worlds to collide. At that point, there’s no turning back. Chemistry has taken hold of the situation and a curious Paisley and a love struck Malachi set out to help her experience life outside the safe cocoon that Paisley’s parents prefer to keep her in.
What I appreciated about this story is that Ey Wade was almost poetic with her descriptions and scenes. The scene that still stands out for me days after reading it was when Paisley and Malachi were lying under her wagasa, a large Japanese umbrella that Paisley carries everywhere to shield her from the sun. Malachi looks up at the filtered view of the sky through the wagasa and asks Paisley what she sees. Her response and view from beneath it saddened me, as she keeps her head down and moves quickly from place to place in her life.
It’s when something halts her or curiosity gets the better of her does Paisley get a closer peek at what’s beyond the bubble… but it always costs her a little more than she’s ready for.
Ey Wade brings life into the world of a young woman that has been isolated in a place that her parents feel will protect her – from the harmful sun, from the germs of the world, from the judging eye of people that will make stupid comments about her rare features or fear her enough to wish her death – and gives her life through Malachi.
Reading “When Clouds Touch” made me curious about the author and her other works, which I will be checking out as well, and something I felt through her writing was confirmed. Ms. Wade takes special care in education, caring, protecting and connecting people that aren’t likely to find each other otherwise.
I felt that in her “When Clouds Touch” and it made me care even more about Paisley when she would twist Malachi’s arm to do something her parents would otherwise object to or if a hand-to-the-chest moment popped up in the story. She also managed to do that while bringing less than ordinary characters that are unfortunately missing in so many pages and giving a story with an outcome that was purely unexpected – one that held my attention until the last page. As an author, Ms. Wade took great care in showing all sides of the story and why no side or character was ever really wrong or right. Everyone wanted the best for all in this story. Thanks to the storytelling of Ey Wade, so did I. And when you step into the story holding onto empathy for the cast of characters until the very end, you’ve walked into a good thing."

Raised by a mother who showed no affection and a father who couldn’t seem to relate, Debney could have been a problem child, but managed to do things right and becomes valedictorian of her class. Then, on the night of her eighteenth birthday, while having a party at her home, Debney finds out that her entire family has died in a car accident. Although the details are sketchy, Debney’s grief leads her to a wrong decision, which leaves her, not only alone in the world, but pregnant as well.
What Debney does next, and how she handles her life from this point is what Ey Wade’s novel is truly about. The situations and emotional responses are heart-warming and the story is sweet and well-written. D.N.A. is a truly poignant story that will have you shedding a tear and cheering for joy.
I’m giving D.N.A.-Nothing Would Ever be the Same, a 4 spider rating and recommending it to anyone who loves a ‘winning’ story!

Meeting Ey. An Interview with the Author
For the next few interviews with the characters we will learn what they believe about their life story. We begin with the author of course. Ms. Wade tell us your story.
I was born and mostly (Army brat)reared in the greatest city in America....Beaumont, TX. Google it. The constant moving formed my love of writing. As for writing-I have (I think) finally found my writing platform. My platform is based on the premise life demands action. Whether it is nonfiction, YA, picture book, or a novel making a statement will be the goal.
There are many things happening in the world which ticks me the hell off. I, as a citizen in the ‘real’ world can’t change society with a flick of my hand, but my laptop keys can kick butt and change fallacies. I can write people to fulfill my dreams. I can have them do what needs to be done and get away with it. So I started self- publishing and my site Wade-In Publishing.com. Check it out and get a free gift.
In the creative non-fiction history book Beads on String-America’s Racially Intertwined Biographical History I did my best to put every race inside the pages to show America’s past was written in more than black and white. True I used the controversial site ‘Wikipedia’ but I believe it is no more fallible than many other trusted sites. All are written by man with just enough of an ability to be researched to make them believable. Just look at the news sources we value today. What’s real? As for the history book---Show me another book celebrating the combined races and celebrated for their courage, and fortitude. This book is also in enhanced format sold on my site.
First interview with the author Ey Wade Second Interview with the author What I Want for Jett
Tired of injustices in the judicial system where it seems sexual predators, pedophiles, and deviants have lenient sentences or get away with their crime I wrote The Fishing Trip , where the good guy is the grey matter. Durham killed his abuser at the age of ten. As an adult and tired of pedophiles having free reign on innocent children, his fishing excursions are to die for. In this book the victims get justice and the criminals their deserved sentences.

I am so excited. Today we are having an interview cum Mother's celebration dinner. Our main guests will be:
Debney Armstrong from the novel D.N.A.,
Catrine, the mother of little Brhin-Kristoffer Teddi from The Perfect Solution
and all of the ladies from The Women on the Hill. Anabelle Lee from Ribbons & Bell and Penny( The Fishing Trip) are also here, but aren't sure they want to speak.
Of course we have invited others from the great imagination of our author Ey Wade, they will be hosting the dinner to honor the mothers, the men will serve.
Let's join the dinner already in progress.
Austin Sanchez (Perfect Solution) entered the dining room juggling three baskets of fresh home made rolls, placing one on each of the long tables.
"I hope everyone is hungry, Bernard (Tripping Prince Charming) is pushing the cart and coming behind me."
The good natured cheering and hurrahing helped usher in the foods and party atmosphere.
"So, ladies..." Catrine(The Perfect Solution) tapped her water class with the prongs of her fork. "Ey has given me one question for all of you to answer. Who's brave enough to jump in and start this off?"
"You know me, I don't have a bit of fear, so I'll start." Penny (The Fishing Trip) placed her fork on the edge of her plate, rested elbows on table and rested her chin between the knuckles of her right hand. "What's the question? "
Are you brave enough to step between the love of a mother for her child?

YOUNG MOM
D.N.A.-Nothing Would Ever Be The Same- http://dna-bloodtiesandlies.blogspot.com Debney Nichole Armstrong thought she knew everything about her family. She knew her dad worked hard at everything, except building a relationship with his family. She knew her younger brothers were typical little kids, and she knew her mother, for some unknown reason, disliked her first born and only daughter. What she really needed to know was did her mother contribute to the ‘accident’? Who is the man repeatedly mentioned in her mother’s journals? Where were the bodies of her ten year old twin brothers, and who is the father of the child she now carries? No matter what the answers are, Debney knows, nothing will ever be the same.D.N.A.-Nothing Would Ever Be The Same
Nothing was as it had been. From the bathroom she could see in the closet and into the newly renovated nursery. It was now totally official; she was going to have a baby. Standing in the nursery she smoothed the blanket in the crib. It was ridiculous how ‘right' being pregnant felt. Sure it was the last position a teen should find be in, but it seemed as if she had been thrown a lifeline and the exact thing she needed at this time in her life. Mrs. Cook had often told her God didn't make mistakes and everything would work out for the best. She was resting the remainder of her sanity on that statement.
"We did a good job huh?" Nadine entered the closet and stood next to her.
"Yes. I can't believe I'm really having a baby, a real person. For months I've felt it moving, punching and kicking me, but when I walked in just now it really clicked that I'm going to be a mother. In a few days I will be holding the life of another human being in my hands." She looked at the small item of clothing Nadine held in her hands. "I'm afraid. I'm afraid I may turn into the conniving vindictive person my mother was. How in the world am I going to teach this child to love others when my own mother couldn't love me?"
"Debney, first of all stop comparing yourself to Nicole Armstrong. You are nothing like her. From day one when your mother realized she was pregnant she wanted to get rid of you. You found out you were pregnant and you decided to have a baby. You hired a midwife and changed your eating habits. When Nicole wanted a nursery for her children she cleared a room on a different floor, and hired a decorator. You grabbed some paint and a couple of friends and spent an entire weekend renovating a closet so the baby can sleep in the same room. When that woman had here babies she threw them into the arms of nannies and au pairs. You will more than likely drag the little snot dripper with us wherever we go. So, you are nothing like Nicole you are going to be a mother and she was a woman who had a couple of babies."
"Dang Deenie," Debney blinked, crying without noticing she quickly wiped the tear that fell from her lashes. Her friend's words encouraged her more than anything she' heard in months. "Aren't you damned inspirational early in the morning? I just may have to keep you around as an ego

DETERMINED MOM
The Perfect Solution A child is given to a stalker.THE PERFECT SOLUTION #suspense Everyone loves three year old Brhin Teddi. His single mother, Catrine, loves him. His aunt and uncle and cousins love him.
The teachers at his daycare center, The Perfect Solution, love him. And someone in the shadows, watching, following and planning, loves him so much she’s ready to destroy countless lives to have him. A terrifying look into the world of childcare, its weaknesses and the terrible cost of those weaknesses.THE PERFECT SOLUTIONWhat if the decisions you've made for your life, endangers the life of your child?
Catrine stepped back and looked around the room. Lifting her face towards the ceiling, she blinked to hold back the tears. "I'm sorry," she repeated. "I'm just… I don't know lost, hurt and profoundly disappointed." Her hand fluttered in the air in frustration. "I think I have cried more here than I have ever done in my entire life. I just can't take it in." Catrine shook her head in confusion. "I have never been so disillusioned. I put my trust in you." She glared angrily. "I placed the most precious thing I had in the world in your hands and you people did not take your job seriously. Do you understand how important your presence is here? This is not just a baby-sitting thing. You are responsible for lives, lives that depend totally on you when they are here." Catrine quickly bypassed the detective and stood in front of Mrs. Wall. "You have absolutely no business," she angrily jabbed a finger into the woman's chest with every word she spoke. "no, business at all having any control over the lives of so many children. None of you do." Her voice broke with the bluntness of her words as she turned and waved her hand to include the entire staff of the day care center. "All of you should be held responsible for neglect, and abuse and I will make sure that you are."

The Fishing Trip-A Trial by Water, Execution, and a Deliverance of Retribution
When do you cross the line from being the 'hero' to be coming themonster? Set in Shiningbal, Texas where the perverted go to disappear; sexual abuse of children is the norm and when the legal system only increases the violation, this isn't the time for redemption to play nice. Married and mom of one, Penny Brooks aids the town's avenger to save those in need. The Fishing Trip
What really goes through the mind after a night on The Fishing Trip ? Can it ever be 'life as usual', again?
Penny finished clearing the dishes to the sounds of her husband and son gathering their things and leaving the house. At the final slam of the front door she rushed up the stairs and into the bedroom to gather her clothes from the night before. After arriving home in the early hours, she’d only had time to strip in the hallway and push the damp smelly clothes under the huge wardrobe in the corner of the room, before slipping into the shower. She hadn’t dared wear them to walk all the way across the bedroom to the bathroom in case Josh would have awakened and questioned her wet dank presence. She'd been frightened out of her wits when she’d heard him peek into the bathroom, but pretended she hadn’t and when she slid into bed, he just pulled her close and never questioned. She knew the lack of interrogation wouldn’t continue because his natural instinct as well as his profession as a police detective, always caused him to want to be in the know of everything.
Holding the reeking pile of clothes as far away from her body as her outstretched arms would allow, she tried not to wretch as she rushed back down the stairs, through the kitchen and garage to the edge of the street where she dumped the bundle into the trashcan at the end of the yard.
Hopping back to the house through the grass on naked toes, wet from the rains from the night before. As she closed the door to the kitchen she could hear the clanging mechanical sounds of the garbage truck coming around the corner and thanked God for making everything work in her favor. She moved to push her hair away from her face but stopped short at the whiff of decay on her finger tips and gagged.
“Ack, my hands stink,” she gagged again. “And my stomach is too damned weak for this kind of thing.” She scrubbed her hands under the kitchen faucet. “I better take another shower and get the hell on off to work.”
Under the shower, the feel of water from the dead body hitting the murky depths played over and over again in her mind. Pressing home the fact she would be useless out in the field in such a state.
Even though she knew the necessity of the fishing trips and had gladly fallen into the procedure, the act of premeditated murder would sometimes spark a flame of guilt. True she had never been part of the final elimination of breath, but her presence was in essence the reason the perpetrator was there. Scrubbing hard at her breast she shuddered at the remembered touch of last night’s victim’s hand as it had pushed under her sweater. Looking at her skin she noticed the scratches she hadn’t seen the night before and cursed. She would now have to make up a story to keep Joshua from going left. It was bad enough she was lying to him about the emergency night calls and making him worry about her safety, without having to make up an explanation for the unnecessary wounds.
Last night was a nightmare she never wanted to relive. It was the closest she had ever come to being raped when dealing with one of the pedophiles. He had been a huge, cruel and insensitive man and she had given a sigh of relief when his body disappeared in the whirlpool of Clear Lake’s waters. Most of the other creeps tried to use a gentle cajoling method to seduce her, believing her to be a child of 15 or 16, but this guy had been a pig. From the time she and Durham had met at the assigned place the guy had been all over her. The plan had been for Durham to pretend to be her boyfriend and arranger of the meeting. They were to get the guy in the car and to the woods as quick as possible, but from the start it had gone awry.
Sitting in the backseat with the perpetrator Penny had immediately been made aware the guy was a violent type of pervert who got his kicks from the brutality of the sexual act he would force on a child. He had thrown her on her back and practically had her pants off before the car was shifted into drive.
Totally engrossed in the fight to protect herself she was unaware of Durham pulling over or getting in the backseat. One minute she was in a struggle for her life and the next she was sucking in the last putrid gusts of breath the creep gasped. Durham lifted the man's dead weight off of her and pushed him to the floor without saying a word until he was back behind the steering wheel.
"Do you ever get tired of doing this Durham?" Feeling as if she would break down and cry, Penny kept her head down and out of his field of vision possible through the rear view mirror.
"Listen, Penny. You can stop anytime you want. This is more dangerous for you than it is for me. I don’t want anything to happen to you. Hell, you wonder if I get tired. Hell yeah I do, but the laws especially in Shiningbal give me no choice. I can’t sit around and let men like that scum continue to prey on defenseless children and get away with it. I’m sure if a common person were to find out about what I am doing they would be torn between two minds. One side would negate me into the role of a murderer while the other side, the more truthful side, would applaud me for taking a stand and ridding the world of useless and dispensable trash.
Just think how we have saved the sanity and sanctity of three little children and you will be able to make it through the rest of the night. This guy had been married three times and in each marriage it has ended the same. He rapes and brutalizes the children. Tortures them mentally and just moves on. He plotted his own destiny. And if I forget my reason for why I continue my mission, I just back up and remember my childhood and a little girl who never had a chance. Men like him make me want to run up and down the street shooting their kind without a second thought. Just imagine him on top of those little children, bastard."
Closing her eyes for a moment, she didn’t have to imagine. The fear during those moments would remain in her mind forever. The weight and the determination of the guy had frightened pure hell out of her. She'd adjusted her clothing and climbed over the front seat uncaring that the car was traveling at break neck speed. She just wanted to be as far away from the dead body as possible in the confines of the car. She had been put with Durham a few times, but had never felt any inkling of danger. Every other guy had seemed harmless both in appearance and mannerisms. Their 'trade mark' as Durham called them. Though she much preferred dealing with the mild mannered perpetrators she didn't know how much longer she would be able to play judge, jury, or executioner. It was all getting hard to stomach.

: Ribbons & Belle W anting something so badly, tears flow.
Anabelle Lee carefully slotted the test tubes into their assigned spots. The gray matter rising from the liquid nitrogen in the vacuum lined tanks, gave her the urge to cough, but she dared not. Any amount of germs had the potential of contamination and death to the minute life forms. At least, that’s how she felt.
Closing the lid to the container, she pushed the required buttons, locked the precious vials and lowered them to safety. With one last look over her shoulder before leaving the room, Anabelle sighed and closed the door. She hadn't realized she was crying until her friend and fellow embryologists, slid a wad of Kleenex into her hands.
"Belle, why do you do this to yourself? I just don't understand. No one coming in here deserves a child more than you. You know all of the risks, you see the donor lists and can have your pick. Call your gyne for counseling and set yourself up for In Vitro or artificial insemination."
"I want to, but I don't want to be disappointed. I’m not sure I’m ready for another heartache."
"I can understand your feelings after everything you’ve been through and that sorry assed husband of yours leaving right after you lost the baby. He didn’t even hang around long enough to see her buried. But that was three years ago. He's moved on with life, married someone else and has a baby of his own. You deserve that same kind of happiness.
Go out, pick you a live body and either get you some and have you a baby or count up your pennies and splurge on a test tube. Here,” Sunny riffled through the pockets of her scrubs, pulling out hands full of change and paraphernalia, sorting through to put the coins on the desk and push in Belle’s direction.“Here’s seventy-five cents, to start the fund."
Belle, choked and giggled at the same time, which ended up sounding like an animal being tortured and caused her to end up wobbling in her chair and banging against the desk from laughter
"God, you're so crass, Sunny. You make it sound as if I'm walking into the cosmetic aisle of any mass market store and picking out a tube of lipstick."
"Well, having the right tube is just as important as having the perfect shade of color on your lips. You know, that batch you just locked into that frozen pits of a tundra, does have one of the best specimens. Or you can simply pluck him from his office, drug him, take him home, and tuck him into your bed. Not to sleep of course. The two...”
“Stop, that’s just a stupid rumor, I’m sure. Something to keep the nurses speculating. Anyway we practically work together. I can’t use him like that.” Annabelle straightened herself under the desk and began ticking the keys of the computer. “Besides, who says he would go anywhere with me?”
“Anabelle Lee,” Sunny slapped a folder on the desktop, as close to Belle’s hand as she could without hitting her. Sending the coins flying in all directions as they hit the floor. “You only pay attention to what you want to see. I’m telling you what I see every time Tyson Ribbons comes in here. A guy with the most piercing baby blue, bedroom eyes. Somewhere I bet he would love for you to be with him. You, on the other hand, never get a peek at the lustful glances he sends your way when he walks up, because you stick your head behind a folder or run into another room, as soon as you notice him in the building.”
“No, I don’t. Not intentionally.”
“Yes, you do. If you think I’m wrong, prove it to me. Stay right where you are because the oh so cute, Dr. Ribbons is turning the corner.”
The smack of her head to the edge of her chair as she dived to the floor, combined with the loud laughter cracking the silence of the quiet hallway, let Belle know she’d been tricked.
Shaking off Sunny’s offered hand, Annabelle tried to use her elbows on the seat of the chair to pull herself up. Nearly falling face first. Knees sliding across the linoleum, as she held on, chasing the mockingly rolling chair

You Can Lead a White Horse...Interview With Guys From Tripping Prince Charming #Read_EyBooks
be let down.
Ey, here. Thanks all for returning. I don't know how familiar you are with the romance of Tripping Prince Charming, but it is the tale of three women, feed up with
love stories and the three men in pursuit of them.
Today our interview will be with the guys from Tripping Prince Charming. Nathaniel, Franklin and Bernard. I hear they have a big surprise in the making, maybe we'll be able to get them to give us a small hint of what it is.
Hi, guys, welcome. Take a seat anywhere. I'll start the questions with, Bernard, if you all don't mind. *Ey reaches out and shakes Bernard's extended hand*"No problem , here." Franklin releases the button on his suit jacket and sits between Bernard and Nathaniel.
"Just so you know," Ey placed canned drinks on the coffee table in front of them. " I've met the ladies during an earlier broadcast, but I want you tell me what you feel for them and let the audience know which is your girl. Okay Bernard, start."
"Right, Ivy is the the closest thing to Heaven I can imagine. Tiny in stature, cute as can be, but a bit of a busy body. She wants everyone happy and in love before she settles down ... at least that's what I believe. The little games she is playing keeps my mind and heart on edge. *he pulls a picture from his shirt pocket.* This is what she looks like, beautiful, huh?
Franklin laughs.
"That's my girl's cousin, so I going to let you live with that dream. The girl is cute man, but she doesn't hold a candle to Carmella." He stands a pulls a picture from his pocket. Slapping it on the
top of the coffee table sitting before them. "Bam, now this is a beauty, my, Carmella Candi, As sweet as can be, Ms Independent. This girl right here will drive a man to drink or reform. I can't gauge her from one minute to the next, but I'm in it until I win it.""Fellows, I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but you guys have your tiny prizes, and I have the jackpot."
Nathaniel places his photo on the table after giving it a gentle kiss. "You guys may 'be' having trouble getting Ivy and Carmella to see things your way, but if I can't get Lillie-Rose to understand I'm the one dragging around the white horse in her honor, you may as well throw those glass slippers against a wall."
"It isn't really that bad, right guys?"
"Is it really that bad? Sometimes, Ey, you have us bouncing off the walls and we have no idea which way to go. I still can't get over that break up scene." Franklin leaned forward in his chair to wag his finger in Ey's face. "For a little bit, I wanted to give you a hell of a migraine, just for the pain you put my heart through."
Ey leans forward and rubs her hands together in anticipation. "But, that's all been taken care of. I heard rumors you three had a big surprise planned. Care to share with the audience? "
Each of the men, slowly scooted back in their chairs, returning the individual pictures to their pockets.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Franklin shuffled his feet and folded his arms."As if we should say something if there were anything, especially with that camera rolling. " Bernard looked at his watch. "As a matter of fact I have somewhere I need to be. "
As he stood the others joined him.
"My suggestion is, you read the book." Bernard placed a copy on the table. "I know how you authors can 'be', write , write never read. If we tell the audience what is going to happen. .. well, what would 'be' the fun in that. Be sure to tell your audience to checkout excerpts at our place- http://trippingprincecharming.blogspot.com or grab some of those pins from Pinterest."
"Okay, I'll just let you leave like that. I see y'all in a rush, all out the door already. Feel free to come back, anytime." * Ey yells out the door at their quickly disappearing forms. In The Chair
